C. Gockel got her start writing fanfiction, and she is not ashamed! Much. She received emails, messages and reviews from her fans telling her she should 'do this professionally'. She didn't; because she is a coward and life as a digital designer, copywriter and coder is more dependable. But in the end, her husband's nagging wore her down: "You could be the next '50 Shades of Gray' and I could retire!" Unfortunately, the author isn't much for writing smut. She is sad about this; she'd love for her husband to be able to retire and just work for her so she could nag him.
At the moment, Ms. Gockel is working on the next installment of her Archangel Project series.

This was a crisp, witty, hard-hitting, but eventually satisfactory story. Mech gave me very strong vibes of ART. Only grievance~ interaction between Noah and Mech was too short. Otherwise, recommended.
It was fun (is that really the right word considering Noa Sato was fighting for her life?) being back in a universe with Noa - I loved the whole Archangel Project series. Stories written by C. Gockel are always well written and thought provoking while taking the reader into an entirely different world with wonderful characters. Makes me want to go back and read the series again.
A wonderful story that reveals how a woman is able to adjust to a life without her husband. She learns to live with help from a mechanical combat unit she has been sent to retrieve. Well done.
This is a short story in the Archangel series. There’s really not much in the way of conflict, but it provides a bit of backstory for Noa. It won’t mean much if you haven’t read at least the first book in the series.
A short story, but an excellent one filling is in on more on Lt. Cmdr. Sato's life. It is very well written, and explores her thoughts as she works her way through a very challenging assignment. Against all odds, but that seems to be her modus operandi, she pulls it off. Good to have friends - even if they are mechs.
When you finish, you'll wonder how you could get to meet Noa Sato. It would be easy for her to be one of your best friends.
Tim is with her always. The love is definitely still there.
