AW Hart – Concho Series Bk 5 - The Scorpion's Sting – Reviewed 4/17/22 – Read 4/11/22
Returning from New Orleans, Concho is pulled into the search when a little girl goes missing.
Texas Ranger Concho Ten-Wolves is tired and worn out from all the fracas that occurred when he and his half-brother went in search of their mother, nearly getting killed to boot. They found her, but it was too late; she had declined so much that she did not even know him. It was unsettling, but he did not know her anyway, having been raised by his grandparents. Just before he left, he got a call from his boss telling him he was suspended until a review of the actions in New Orleans could be cleared up. Knowing that money would be tight, he opted to take a bus back instead of renting a car, plus he could rest up on the way. Little did he know that a cute little girl he met on the bus would go missing, and he would not let that happen on his watch and the story begins.
Join Concho as he races against time to save a little girl and others from a monster…
