book "Foreword":
This book is a collection of poems I've shared on social media. In other words, even though I was the one who wrote this book, it also reflects my readers' thoughts. . . I feel sorry for the trees and sun for publishing another book with the paper produced by our terminally-ill Mother Earth, but for now, I wish for everyone's peace.
The illustrations were beautiful, the poems were beautiful, this was such a great collection that was “chosen by the fans” that has made me want to read more by this author
I don’t normally read poetry but I ended up reading the English translation of this because of a recommendation from Seventeen’s Xu Minghao. I was surprised because I actually quite liked it even though I’m usually not much of a poetry person. I can’t lie and say that everything was my taste but I quite liked the imagery and feelings of a good chunk. It was quite hard to find a copy in English but finally managed to get my hands on it from a library. I’m wondering if I should keep searching to find a copy I can buy so that I can try to read it beside the original Korean version. Anyways… Overall, quite good!
Di ko alam kung mas maganda yung orig o yung translated kasi may napanood ako korean version tas nung trinanslate niya by her own mas maganda pakinggan tho they have the same meaning naman, its just when i hear the word poetry, i am reminded of rhyming words. Maybe as time goes on, i will appreciate the meaning over the rhyming words once i became a better person. The illustration is nice and beautiful.
Done! This book was gifted to me by my best friend💕 And as usually I love it!! However even though I don’t speak or understand Korean, the original is probably is better and beautifully written than the translated version.
The illustrations were beautiful. However, I did not find most of the poems good/relatable. Maybe it was just not for me. Or maybe because it was already translated to English. Maybe if I understand Korean and read the poems in Korean, it would make so much sense for me.
