Overall information was good. I enjoyed reading about some of the spells that was mention. A lot of the work that is mention is modern day conjure. Some bible scripture was mention which was also nice. Personally I feel that the author should of added a little more history about hoodoo. (this is just a personal opinion) As a beginner you will get confused with some parts of this book. In hoodoo you work mostly with GOD and the ancestors. Orishas tradition is not apart of hoodoo. Loas are found in Haitian vodou, also not found in hoodoo. I understand that the author wanted to cover some of these practices in this book. These two practices should have been written in another book because this will confuse readers.
