Oh, Jill. You brave, strong, stubborn woman. You sure took your time in realizing that this family is yours, just as much as your brother is yours. And Danny, man, communication is the key! But you shocked me with your changes and your determination to win.

I’ve loved this series, so I was expecting a lot of these two. And I wasn’t disappointed. Danny was so much more than expected and he had made so many changes along the way that Jill was absolutely his reward. And Jill proved that she was every bit as strong as the men of this family by choice time and time again. There were some bumps in the road and a lot of twists to find out the truth of the danger around everyone, but I found myself wishing for more time with Jill. And Danny. And their family. And everyone, really. But all good things must end eventually. It’s a darn good thing that this ended so wonderfully though, because Danny and Jill were just perfect together and deserved every bit of happiness that they fought and clawed to own.

So now I wait to see where we go next. There are options. There are people I’d like to see more of. And I’m sure I’ll like whatever direction is taken because this author hasn’t let me down yet!

I have not read any of the prior books in this series. In fact, I honestly did not know this was the last book in this series when I picked it up. Luckily, I had no issues jumping right into this book and the world that the author has built for this series.

I really enjoyed Danny and Jill. Everyone else was great as well. I do want to go back by checking out the prior books in this series and getting to know everyone else better. There was some past history between Danny and Jill that kept them from getting together in the beginning of this book. Yet, once Danny and Jill admitted and gave into their feelings for one another it was steamy. I found it charming that Danny called Jill "Jilly Baby". It was endearing.

If you are looking for a special read to start 2022 then Something About You is just the book for you, Danny and Jill’s story is a bewitching, enthralling, deeply moving yet inspirational read. I was captivated from the start as KB Barrett pulled out all the stops in this emotionally charged story of finding love and hanging on to it even when you believe there is no way out other than to leave those you love behind.

Each and every story in this series has produced tough yet swoon-worthy heroes, one's that will take your breath away, as when they find the loves of their lives they will do everything in their power to keep them safe and make them feel like the queens they truly are.

Absolutely blown away by this book.
I could not stop reading but now wished I'd taken my time because I'm gutted that I've finished it.
K.B.Barrett knows how to write a book that you never want to end.
I got sucked in to the point that I forgot to eat all day lol.
Full of action, suspence and all the sweet and protective romance you could want in one book.
Will be re reading this series again very soon.

Danny has a dark past, demons he knows will never go away. Because of this, he feels like he doesn’t deserve love. But fate had other plans in the form of Jill, a young woman trying to raise her little brother while escaping her own demons.

Danny is broken, and Jill has baggage, but the fractured pieces of their hearts fit perfectly together. But when something comes after not just them, but the whole family, they must fight to protect not only themselves, but everyone they love.

Oh my gosh. This final book in the “I Found You” series was absolutely perfect!!! It was such a good ending. This book was fast paced at some parts, and agonizingly slow burn at others. Danny and Jill have the kind of chemistry that’s not only undeniable, but also inevitable.

Jill. She’s such a sweetheart, just trying to make the best of life while throwing herself into caring for Jamie, her little brother. I liked that she was so strong. Danny. He’s an alpha man for sure, but with Jill, he can also be incredibly tender. I really loved that he realized and embraced the fact that Jill and Jamie were a package deal.

I could not recommend this book, this series, and K.B. Barrett as an author enough!!!

Each new book in this series becomes my favorite, and I'm super sad that it's over because I LOVED it so hard! This is Danny & Jill's story, and it's a doozie that's for sure. Jill had a terrible mother, so when she had to leave home, she took her much younger brother with her, and busted her behind to give him a good life. Danny has been her friend, but she wanted more with him, however, she just had to watch him with all his different women which really hurt her. Finally, she decides that she has to move on so she accepts her first date, and that sets Danny off. He has to actually get his head out of his behind if he wants to make her his, and he definitely wants her as his own, but he has an uphill battle because she's afraid to let her walls down. Nasty things start happening to her where Danny takes control, and it's still an uphill battle as they develop into a relationship together. I swear my emotions were all over the place while reading it because Jill was going through the fire all the time, the heat was crazy intense while the twists were coming in hot (especially with the crime family theme) so yeah, this is my favorite book to date! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is an action packed mafia romance with a cast of strong characters centering on Danny and Jill. She's a strong independent woman raising her little brother. He's over protective to the point of being overbearing. The author does a fantastic job pulling you in and had me glued to the pages with everything happening. It's told in the dual POV showing both of their thoughts along the way.She brings tons of emotions along with the violence and danger ,throws in twists and turns and delivers a sizzling hot chemistry with vividly painted scenes. It's well written and is a true page turner. I loved and highly recommend this book/series.

Danny and Jill wow! This is one of those stories that your so freaking excited to read that you sit down and completely immerse yourself in and you have no how long you have been reading until it’s over and then you wished you had taken longer because it’s that damnnnn good. These two really worked for their HEA and it was by no means an easy ride it was emotional, touching, rough all the things! But they managed to come out on top. There is nothing Danny wouldn’t do to protect Jill she is undoubtedly his Queen and he was going to prove that to her. This entire series was amazing and I highly recommend it.

Something About You is the fourth book in K. B. Barrett’s I Found You series. It is a mafia romance novel filled suspense, amazing characters and an interesting and intense storyline. The overall themes of this series focuses on family, overcoming hardship, and finding love.

I loved Danny and Jill together, and Jamie, her little brother, just adds to the overall storyline. Like all the amazing books in this series both the hero and heroine had a very difficult and painful upbringing but they were able to support each other as they built a relationship on love, trust and understanding. They journey together was well written and heart wrenching, and I couldn’t put the book down until I was finished. I am not sure there will be more books to this series, but Barrett is an amazing author and I will definitely being read her other books.

Danny has seen his brothers find true love but never thought it was for him. He believes that his demons would scare anyone away. But what about Jill? She has her own past to deal with while taking care of her younger brother. Can their awkward friendship turn into a romance that can last forever?
I was eager to read this mafia romance, but I was highly disappointed. On the positive side: the story was exciting and easy to read. The negative: The most prevalent word was a curse that didn’t need to be used. There are so many other words in the dictionary that can describe what a character is feeling and would show more of what a character is like. Because that word was used so much, I didn’t understand Danny or what he went through, prior to this story. I felt that Jill was a little naïve and too controlled by Danny through their sexual relations. In my opinion, they had more of an attraction, not love. Danny wanted to own her. I felt that both characters needed to be fleshed out more. This story needed a lot of editing. I received an advance review copy for free, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

This is my third story by this author, and have enjoyed each of them.

Mafia has been my thing lately. Though there are definite overtones, what hit me most from this story is the development of the relationship between the mains!

I loved Danny's reaction when Jill is asked out on a date! Jill strap in, because Danny's none too pleased!

Love Jill's brother and her care of him!

Family really is everything, and love tantamount!

Great read!

I loved this book. It was beyond amazing. It moves along at a great pace which makes for a very enjoyable read. The characters are amazing and you cant help but love them and you want to be there for them no matter what happens. This book will grab you and keep you reading until the end and then you are needing more. This book has to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.

Trigger Warnings include:
kidnapping, torture, drug abuse, neglect

All it took was one smile, and Danny was hooked. Now four years later, and with no surprise, he’s still glued to Jill. Trying to keep his distance, but never straying too far; inserting himself in his life as much as he can. Mostly, finding excuses through her brother Jamie. (Which is such a beautiful bond.) Danny is fully and truly protective of his family, and that’s exactly what Jill and Jamie are to him. So when Jill gets ready to go out on a date, Danny loses his mind. And they have an audience. There’s no more denying the feelings they’ve been skating around all these years! (SO happy to see Mark is still just as protective over Winter as ever!) Danny confesses to standing in the shadows, waiting for his chance to make a move once she was confident in finding her footing on her own. Everything started to work out perfectly. The Happily Ever After was just in reach! But then the world around them starts to implode. Danny will stop at absolutely nothing to keep his loved ones safe. What I hadn’t properly prepared myself for, was how Jill would handle everything. That threw my emotions for a LOOP!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “If I know one thing, Jill baby, it’s that you were meant to be mine.”
• “My Jilly. Made just for me.”
• “I know that when I get you under me, f!ck is it going to be heaven.”
• “I have waited my whole life for you, and I’ll wait another lifetime if I have to. But you are mine.”
• “Maybe I just wanted something of yours in my mouth.”
• “Wrap me up, baby.”
• “You going to f!ck me or just sit there thinking about it?”
• “I can’t lose you. It would destroy me.”
• “Thank you for letting me dream.”
• “Ride me and take us both home.”

8/10 Dirty Birdy
8/10 Mafia Romance

Love the blurb, love the choice of cover model for Danny, but the rest is 3.5 stars
In this story we open four years prior which sets the stage for 19yo Jill’s demons, the fear that her mother would take away her baby brother, Jamie. Jill’s mother would probably sell him for drugs rather than deal with him. Fortunately, Jill has the Mancinis as her friends. They are former familia, family not by blood but by hardships overcome together and mafia. Danny is in love with her but she’s too young, although I don’t recall finding out how old he is. He feels unworthy to have anybody share in his life because of his demons. His back story is indeed tragic.
Some parts of this book were thrilling while others were “meh” to me. Jill was sometimes strong and then she was weak. Was this supposed to make her a multi-faceted character? Didn’t work for me. Danny is overly controlling but that works when you think about his life in the mafia and his past. But I kept feeling like there were many fabricated obstacles in the story. Having never read this author before I don’t know if this is her style to pile on the plot machinations: characters get over one hurdle only to find chapters later they are embroiled in yet another conflict, and on-and-on. There were some inconsistencies and other grammatical, misspelling, missing word issues where a good editor would help. The parts that were good were really good, but the rest...I’m sorry but I can only give this book 3.5 stars and that is thanks to the good parts. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through BookSirens.

Something about you by KB Barrett is the final book in the I found you Series. I have not read any of the prior books in this series, this book is the first of the author that I’ve read and I found it to be enthralling. This is Danny & Jill's story, Jill had a terrible mother, so when she had to leave home, she took her much younger brother with her and worked hard to give him a good life. Danny is the one who is there to help her when she needs it. Jill has had feelings for Danny for years and has kept them to herself as she felt he could never feel anything for her. Danny is a player and it seems that he will never settle down, she just had to watch him with all his different women which really hurt her. They both have feelings for each other but don’t act on it until one day, she decides that she has to move on so she accepts her first date, and that sets Danny off. Danny and Jill’s story is a bewitching, enthralling, deeply moving yet inspirational read. I was captivated from the start as KB Barrett pulled out all the stops in this emotionally charged story. It was exceptionally written to keep you on your toes and keep you guessing. I loved Danny and how protective and accepting he was of both Jill and her brother.

This is the story of Jill Williams and Danny Mancini. Since this is book 4 in the “I found you” series, there’s some history here already but the deal is that Jill is younger than Danny and she’s taking care of her little brother, so saying she has a rough life is an understatement. Jill and Danny both have feelings for each other but don’t act on it because they’re thinking for each other 🤦🏻‍♀️ until one day Jill gets asked out on a date and Danny looses it! Saying that Danny is possessive is the understatement of the century, I personally thought it was a little too much at times and instead of being hot it was scary and infuriating.
Once they give in to their feelings things begin to flow and the fireworks are as crazy as on New Years 😅 but since he’s part of a mafia family things get dark when Jill gets threatened. Will they be able to overcome all their obstacles to get a HEA?

Although Danny was quite possessive, I enjoyed their relationship. He just really wanted to be everything for Jill and she had to work on her own demons before she could help him with his. It was pretty amazing to see how they became one!
I absolutely recommend this book, although I feel it would be best if you read the entire series.

Jill has had a terrible time with her mother her whole life and has not taken over care for her little brother. Danny is the one who is there to help her when she needs it. Jill has had feelings for Danny for years and has kept them to her self as she feels he could never feel anything for her. The older they get the harder it is for her to see him with other women. Danny is a player and it seems that he will never settle down. Things take a turn when she decides after four years to start dating and wow Danny's eyes are opened and the possessive alpha comes out. There relationship moves very quickly once it starts and he is all in. Then someone starts stalking them all. The twists keep coming and you mind goes crazy trying to figure out who it is and why. This story was exceptionally written to keep you on your toes and keep you guessing. I loved Danny and how protective and accepting he was of both Jill and her brother.

This is book four in The I Found You Series and it is Danny and Jill's story and what a perfect end to a brilliant series. This book pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout right until the last page and I couldn't put it down and was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and it was so addictive that I didn't want this story or series to end but I absolutely loved the outcome for Danny and Jill but I can't wait to see what this author writes next. The chemistry between them was so hot and intense that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book and the storyline was a total page turner. K. B. Barrett is an amazing author and writer and the depth of her story's are what makes you want to read more of her books and I definitely recommend you read her books and you will not be disappointed.

Jill and Danny both had to grow up quick due to their traumatic childhoods. Now they have to fight together to keep custody of Jill’s younger brother as well as an unknown stalker that is threatening the whole family.
I wasn’t totally convinced with Jill and Danny’s relationship, it seemed there was too much ordering around and not enough legitimate connection. Jill was a strong character in many ways, I just feel that she would have stood up to Danny more, but this was another enjoyable mafia romance. I enjoyed the suspense in the text and there were a couple of twists thrown in that I wasn’t expecting. I loved reading about Jamie and am curious about the sort of person that he grows up to be. I enjoyed the pace of the plot, it enabled me to stay consistently invested. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book from BookSirens. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

This is the 4th and final book in the I Found You series featuring Danny and Jill's fascinating story. Danny and Jill both have feelings for each other but they have never acted on them. Jill is younger than Danny and she's had a really rough life which has led to her raising her younger brother. She works really hard to give her brother a good life and if she ever needs any help Danny is always there. She has finally decided that it's time to move on after seeing Danny with so many different women caused her pain. She decides that this would be the perfect time to go on her first date and when Danny finds out he goes off. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this fascinating story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

I had the joy of reading this book as an ARC! Man K.B Barret you really do know how to grip your reading from the begging and not let go till the very end! Jill is sick a sting female MC! From the very first page she is just dealing with everything that is thrown at her. A dead beat mom a brother she has to care for and a man who wants to give her the world! I love how you brought all these people together and mingled there lives so intricately!

The spice was on point and the romance aspects were swoon worthy! Danny is for sure book boyfriend material! And I how this book simply keeps you on your toes because every time you get comfortable something happens! Can’t wait to read more of your books!

This was my first book by K.B. Barrett and I’m so glad I found her. This was a good story about wanting what you know you shouldn’t have but realizing it’s exactly what you need. Danny and Jill do fit well together and their chemistry is hot! I absolutely adored Danny’s relationship with Jamie. I would definitely recommend starting at the beginning of the series. It can definitely be read as a standalone, but reading the series would give l context as to some situations as well as insight into certain relational idiosyncrasies.

That being said it was very well written. It did drag in a few spots for me but nothing that would deter from the story in any way. I will be reading more from K.B. very soon!

This book was in between 3 and 4 stars for me, 3.5 I’d say. It’s the 4th in a series so there are other characters that are enjoyable to read about if you’ve read the previous novels. If not though, it can be read as a stand-alone and it’s still easily understood. Both Jill and Danny have demons in their past to move past so watching them develop as their relationship unfolded was rewarding. I did few that the text dragged on a bit. Things happened quickly since the main characters already knew each other and had a relationship as friends, but then it lagged a bit in the middle before the climax. Also, as a mafia romance, I expect Danny to be an alpha male, but sometimes I really wish Jill stood up to him more. I received an Arc for an honest review of this text.

Danny has looked out for Jill and Jamie since the day she went to her mother's house and had her sign him over to her. He knew she was it for him but did not deserve her and did not want add more to her plate until five years later. When she goes on a date with guy it is all he can do not to beat the guy to a pulp. When danger strikes he moves Jill and Jamie into his house.

Both the them have not had an easy life, she was neglected by her mother, other things happened to him. He is possessive and wants nothing more keep the two of them safe, but has the danger starts closing can Danny keeps his demons at bay.

This is my first book by the author and cannot wait to read others.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. Read the earlier book 'Nothing Without You' and loved it, so was really glad I got the ARC for this book as I was waiting to read about Danny and Jill. The story did not disappoint; it was gritty, painful, suspenseful, sexy and steamy. Both Danny and Jill haven't had a great past/childhood so there are walls both have to scale before they can find their HEA.

The pacing and plot was well-delivered and I was pulled in from page 1. It was a roller coaster of emotions and I was on the edge of my seat wondering who the bad guy was. As this is the last book in the series, there is a wrap up of how each couple is doing so it was really sweet to read. If you love a suspense-filled steamy romance, grab the series!

Nicely impressed with "new to me" author

Something About You is the first book I have read by K.B. Barrett and I am just going to say that I was nicely impressed. This is the fourth and last book in the I Found You Series but I found I did not have an issue reading it as a standalone. The story is well crafted, has an engaging story-line that kept my attention and characters that I not only liked but found to be interesting and well developed. I will definitely be going back to read the previous books in this series to see just what I missed.

Danny is a broken man with demons that chase him day after day. He feels like he doesn't deserve to find happiness and love like his siblings. But fate had other plans for him. Jill has her own baggage and demons to fight with. She tries to raise her little brother and to survive. When Jill and Danny meet sparks fly, but they have one hell of a journey before they finally get their HEA😉 Jill was a great big sister, strong , determined, independent and stubborn too😉 Danny was alpha and stood by his woman no matter what 😍😍😍😍

Something About You by KB Barrett. OMG- this story was so good. Heartfelt and emotional drama, strong and complicated characters, undeniable chemistry, and conflict and struggles. Jill and Danny’s story hit a soft spot in me, and I felt as though I was on this journey with them as they navigated life and their attraction. I enjoy the author’s writing style and would recommend this book and series to others. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an ok 3-star read until the end when Jill mistakenly thought the trouble was all about her. She takes off with nothing, leaving everyone she loves behind, including her little brother that she just got custody of. She starts hitching rides with truckers. No idea where she will go or what she'll do, eat, sleep, etc. And it didn't help cuz the bad guys found her anyway! My biggest pet peeve is when heroines do utterly stupid things. It just ruins the book for me.
