It's very important to keep your promises. If children learn this very important behavior in early time the seem to grow up very responsible, respectful, and very successful.
I grew up on these books and absolutely love them! The Help Me Be Good books are great for young children. My children also loved them when they were young.
This book more targets on cheating from the non-cheaters perspective (especially in the first three quarters of the book). It still has some good points and great conversation starters.
a cute, but preachy book about keeping promises. it goes over how it feels to be the one who the promise was broken to. my siblings kids will learn from this.
Breaking Promises is a excellent book to read to preschool age children to start discussions about how trust is built when other people can trust you to do as you promised. Several examples are given and the book talks about how you feel when someone breaks a promise and then the difference is emphasized when people know they can depend on you. I have used this book for a number of years with preschool children.
Such a great book for kids and adults to read together!! Joy Berry has a wonderful way of bringing things to a kids level to help them understand things better. Sometimes as an adult we forget kids see and process the world differently than us.
Beautifully illustrated to help kids pay attention while learning valuable life lessons!
This series is wonderful for any home or classroom! I want them for he community center where I work!! I am also thrilled they are being made available as ebooks!!
