This follows the dragons after being woken and I think best way to describe is straight up orgies, and would draw power from the essence. Three because ok yes it’s good but would’ve liked a little more story- the story that was in was getting pretty good and then would the resolve the difficulty with another orgy. Little too much.

Rowan has always wondered who her parents were, did they not want her because of her weirdness? Red hair, but more troubling the red eyes! Corey has bonded with the dragon queen Racha and couldn't be happier... He is now the head of the Technical division of the empire Racha's father Aris left her. The tech geek couldn't be happier with his decision to bond with her. After a very passionate interlude in Racha's office they are visited by her father's former assistant and bonded human now her inheritance.. When Corey sees her all he can think of is that it was Racha's father who took her from him all those years ago, it was him she left him for with no explanation one morning..Could it be that it was compulsion on his part, or was it that she really fell in love with Aris. Until Halle awakens the the superior authority that he should yield. Their love knows no bounds, so when Hallie is kidnapped by the very past she has been running from, he steps in to rescue her and lets it be known that she is his woman and he will not be lenient in the future.
Roka and Rafe have found Rowan in China and all of them ready to take Kol's jet there and begin their plans to go before the Counsil with Rowan and the missing piece of the Veradinth found. Now it is just a matter of convincing the Counsil of their truth.
Breath of Flame & Shadow
Rowan discovered bliss like she never imagined existed in her 2 nights with Rafe, but she also discovered a truth she never imagined existed also... Her true identity, but not really, just what she was and could accomplish feats she never thought she could, so she ran, or better yet flew away from the man she loved, feeling betrayed.
But Rowan soon discovers that the man she thought betrayed her loves her beyond all reason and he feels that to hell with what the council says. He is a shadow dragon and will follow his love to the ends of the earth. She also discovers that she has a brother and who her real mother was will make her the mot powerful of the dragons.

Catalyst Kris never in his long lonely life ever thought it would lead him to the love of a lifetime with Issa and now the twins she is carrying, but it is depleting her and in turn him for he can siphon so much energy and the twins demand much. All the dragons of the court must come together before the Counsil to receive their punishment, but is it? Rowan finally finds out her role in the court and what she must do to save her kind, but not without her own conditions which are met, but the Counsil also has their own.
It will be a new beginning for all the dragons and their mates, not to mention they will be able to relish in the life of their offspring. But now they must come together in what can only be described as a life altering joining of family and friends beyond all gatherings.
I truly enjoyed this series just as much, but not more than "Sleeping Dragons" You have to read these series to really appreciate what I mean.

I did wish I'd read the first omnibus before this one, as it was difficult to sort out who was who when clearly everyone had already been introduced to the reader. it was like coming in halfway through a conversation.
It was a compelling, guilty pleasure read, with hints of dragon politics and various romantic problems, each novella focuses on a different couple, although there were very actual couples, most were three way menages, sometimes four.
BUT, I hate to say it, the amount of sex to plot was a huge problem, and I like the sexy probably more than most readers. Yes, I got that sex was more important to the dragons than humans and they use it for energy replacement, discipline and reassurance, but I think more than 75% of the collection involved sex scenes, at least it felt like that.
If you're bi, this would be a good read, there are f/f and m/m scenes as well as every possible menage combination. The 12 way orgies at the end were an eyeopener, how the author remembered (or even cared) who was doing what to who while so and so was.... I don't know.
I loved the occasional odd humorous note, and the unapologetic way the dragons think and talk about their impulses, but I didn't need to know about every coupling, every transfer of bodily fluids and mouths on..... and for me personally, the f/f scenes were significantly ewww.
In summary, hardcore bisexual menage paranormal erotica, with multiple HEA endings for oversexed dragons and their humans mates. If this is what floats your boat, have at it.

Rising Dragons omnibus 0.5 to 7
Ophelia Bell is fantastic. Theses books have such a great back story and with the future of dragons at risk and there incredibly sensual sexy relationships with not just mf but mmf mmm or ffm. There are no boundaries in her books
Book 0.5
This is book 0.5 of the Rising Dragon series by Ophelia Bell.
Rowan sit in her usual club trying to find her next conquest but meets Rafe a dark sexy man with a panty melting accent.
This book is incredibly short but so intense you are so gutted when it finishes.
The book finishes on a cliffhanger that make you want to desperately buy next book in series.
The narrator was fantastic especially swapping accents between the two male characters. Looking forward to reading Rafe and Rown HEA hopefully in series
Book 1
Book two of Rising Dragons by Ophelia Bell narrated by Elizabeth Maxwell.
Book two jumps right into its story without much background so do read blurb before hand.
Erica is a archaeologist and while at a find discovers a resting place of dragons and wakes them up.
Geva has been asleep for centuries and is woken by a beautiful lady that he can't stop thinking about.
These book are generally short hot and incredibly sexy. If you don't like multiple partners or H/H action then this my not be for you but you will be missing out of a fantastic dragon story.
The narrator is incredibly talented and is lovely to listen to. Especially good at swapping accents easily.
The only reason it didn't get 5 ⭐️ is because I absolutely hate cliffhangers but because I love this writer I will carry on reading/listening

I had mixed feelings about this one especially with Jill who left Corey for his current lover father.
Seem to work it's self out but now desperately want to know who Corey and Queen aris try to convince council to open mating and pregnancy to humans
Would I recommend to a friend Absolutely, the world that Ophelia Bell has created is complex but so satisfying to read. If you like GoT with the graphic world and mature relationships between not just fm but also mmf or even mmmf then this is the book for you

Book three carry’s on with the search for missing artefact that will give the new generation of awakened dragons a upper hand.
Camille, Roka and Eben was settled in their relationship but something unsettled them and strain is starting to show. Which is more the focus of this book and even though not completely sorted you are satisfied with the conclusion.
I love that Rafe is finally back in story even though very small part and hopefully we get his HEA soon as he’s been my favourite from start.
The narrator Elizabeth Maxwell deserves awards for her performances of each character. She has amazing talent and keeps you right in middle of story with her fantastic voice.
My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the cliffhangers feeling at the end I absolutely hate them but Ophelia Bell is a very rare author that keeps me hooked and dying to know what happens next. If you love hot sexy dragon shifter books then look no further then Ophelia Bell.

Wow this is a crazy whirlwind romance between four people.
Immortal Twin golden dragons have fallen in love with Dimitri a human but the dragon council says Aurik needs to mate a human and produce children.
Aurik and Dimitri think of everything to get out of this problem but just before Aurik flys off to a monastery leaving his twin and the man he’s lived to start a long happy mated life Thea comes back into Dimitri life. They were once lovers and happily in a threesome with Dimitri brother Alex before he died now Thea is meeting up with Dimitri about a research project or so she thinks but Dimitri hope she sparks a sexy golden dragon into mating.
There’s a lot of sex between all couples but not between the twins directly which makes the whole relationship even more complicated and interesting. Absolutely love this narrator as well I wasn’t sure because it a different narrator to previous in series but actually really like her voice and her accents for each character. Loving this series can’t wait for more.
Book 5
Erika still searching for missing artefact but Kol and Hallie are involved in mix now.
Short but incredibly sexy. Some might feel to too much sex for such a short book but thankfully with omnibus you just carry on into next.
Book 6
OMG I’ve waited sooo long to find out what happen to Rowan and Rafe.
Rowan is a newly awaken red dragon that is Rafe’s mate but because of a misunderstanding and Rafe not been truthful Rowan ran away from him.
Thank god we finally find out what happen but I think this could easily have been a nice full length book.
Absolutely love Ophelia Bell and all her dragon series

Massive changes happen in this book to do with Dragon council having control over the dragons mating and children.
Nice to see all characters together in this book but would have loved bigger book, Fuller series.
Ophelia Bell is fantastic. Theses books have such a great back story and with the future of dragons at risk and there incredibly sensual sexy relationships with not just mf but mmf mmm or ffm. There are no boundaries in her books

Rising Dragons Omnibus – Books 1 to 8 – Ophelia Bell
Breath of Night – This is where we meet Rowan for the first time. She is a Red Dragon, but she is not aware of this fact until she meets the sensual Shadow Dragon Rafe, who will lead her to her destiny.
Breath of Destiny – In this book we discover what’s happening with our very first mated pair, Erika and Geva. They are up to their usual antics and we are thrown into some family mysteries just for the hell of it!
Breath of Memory – Corey, finally bonded to the Dragon Queen, is faced with his past love and the reason for her abandonment of him. The tale is told with finesse and just enough heartfelt reason for Corey (and us) to forgive Jill and welcome her back into the fold. Making the Queen’s consort a very busy and exhausted, but sated, man.
Breath of Innocence – Eben and Camille are left by their gorgeous hunk of a Guardian Dragon mate Roka at the monastery to research a magical dragon artefact that promises the power of fertility. Roka heads off with Rafe in search of Rowan, who has literally flown the coop thinking that Rafe does not love her. Eben and Camille must rediscover what they are together without Roka. It’s a beautiful rediscovery of their love and strengthens their relationship with each other and Roka.
Breath of Desire – Dimitri, the twin mated to the Twin Gold Dragons. He has further powers that not even he and his bonded Twin Dragon mates knew about. When Dimitri’s ex-lover Thea re-enters his life, it shakes their mated and blissful threesome to its very core, and new relationships are forged alongside rekindled one’s when the heat is turned up to steamy.
Breath of Love – Kol and Hallie, my favourite couple in the series. Their love and partnership are honest and pure. It hits epic new levels in this story when we meet the reason for Hallie’s flight in the previous Sleeping Dragons series. Kol is a Shadow Dragon not to be messed with as Hallie’s ex finds out when he tries to reclaim her. Bad choice buddy. We see a new and more playful side to Kol in this instalment when he let’s lose his inner nature and becomes a more commanding figure when it comes to intimate partners that he and Hallie can share. Phew!
Breath of Flame and Shadow – We return to Rowan. She’s been flying aimlessly for weeks on end, trying to forget the two nights of bliss spent with the Shadow Dragon Rafe who she now realises she is deeply in love with. She hooks up with a bonded human Trevor whose attention inspires her. She decides she must find Rafe and be with him.
Breath of Fate – As Kris and Issa await the birth of their Twin Dragons, Issa strengths wanes on an hourly basis. Breath of Night – This is where we meet Rowan for the first time. She is a Red Dragon, but she is not aware of this fact until she meets the sensual Shadow Dragon Rafe, who will lead her to her destiny.
Breath of Destiny – In this book we discover what’s happening with our very first mated pair, Erika and Geva. They are up to their usual antics and we are thrown into some family mysteries just for the hell of it!
Breath of Memory – Corey, finally bonded to the Dragon Queen, is faced with his past love and the reason for her abandonment of him. The tale is told with finesse and just enough heartfelt reason for Corey (and us) to forgive Jill and welcome her back into the fold. Making the Queen’s consort a very busy and exhausted, but sated, man.
Breath of Innocence – Eben and Camille are left by their gorgeous hunk of a Guardian Dragon mate Roka at the monastery to research a magical dragon artefact that promises the power of fertility. Roka heads off with Rafe in search of Rowan, who has literally flown the coop thinking that Rafe does not love her. Eben and Camille must rediscover what they are together without Roka. It’s a beautiful rediscovery of their love and strengthens their relationship with each other and Roka.
Breath of Desire – Dimitri, the twin mated to the Twin Gold Dragons. He has further powers that not even he and his bonded Twin Dragon mates knew about. When Dimitri’s ex-lover Thea re-enters his life, it shakes their mated and blissful threesome to its very core, and new relationships are forged alongside rekindled one’s when the heat is turned up to steamy.
Breath of Love – Kol and Hallie, my favourite couple in the series. Their love and partnership are honest and pure. It hits epic new levels in this story when we meet the reason for Hallie’s flight in the previous Sleeping Dragons series. Kol is a Shadow Dragon not to be messed with as Hallie’s ex finds out when he tries to reclaim her. Bad choice buddy. We see a new and more playful side to Kol in this instalment when he let’s lose his inner nature and becomes a more commanding figure when it comes to intimate partners that he and Hallie can share. Phew!
Breath of Flame and Shadow – We return to Rowan. She’s been flying aimlessly for weeks on end, trying to forget the two nights of bliss spent with the Shadow Dragon Rafe who she now realises she is deeply in love with. She hooks up with a bonded human Trevor whose attention inspires her. She decides she must find Rafe and be with him.
Breath of Fate – As Kris and Issa await the birth of their Twin Dragons, Issa strengths wanes on an hourly basis. 3.25 stars - follow up series to Sleeping Dragons, Rising Dragons is the new generation of the Dragon Court and the weight of responsibilities that fall to them - audiobook version.
As was Sleeping Dragons, Rising Dragons is a smut filled series. The stories were interesting to me, but the smut becomes such a distraction that it undermines what could have been more [in my estimation]. Apparently dragons don't hoard gold... they can't help wealth acquisition, but that's not what occupies them. I found the relationships enjoyable, for the most part, but the story just devolves by the end. I'd like there to have been more story, for the story to be the lead. So in the end I am left disappointed.

Again a short story, showcasing the person, Erika, who had established by archeological process that dragons existed and through ceremony had awakened the sleeping brood.
Now her dragon, had re-established his heritage as The English Dragon.
There is problems, and a very real missing piece to make dragons live again.
Book 3 Breath of Memory
The Queen's father left her an inheritance that stunned both herself and her consort.
Confused about his feelings, the Consort wanted to give the gift up, but could his previous life allow him to?
As interesting display in complex relationships.
Book 4 Breath of Innocence
This short episode shows Rafe still in pursuit of his female dragon, this time enlisting the aid of another dragon.
It opens with an erotic rescue of the collapsed dragon, that needed replenishment to continue his hunt.
Book 5 Breath of Desire
A researcher was found for tracking the line of the missing piece. However, she is an ex lover of the human now entangled with dragon twins. It becomes a tad erotic, but when all said and done perhaps a solution to one of their problems.
Book 6 Breath of Love
She had run from her old world, into the arms of her dragon lover. He, was still learning what his position in the world required of him. That submission and dominance were an integral part of position in the hierarchy of dragons and human worlds.

After reading the shitty novel Breath of Memory, I am not going not read any other book in this series, where one partner is not enough and though they have animal in them they cannot be satisfied with their own mates and another partner or ménage. This series is nothing but porn. Yep more than 75% of the books in this series is about sex. It’s not like I like other novel in this second. So I am not going to read this series and waste my time and energy .

I read up to Breath of Innocence.
I really hate books where if the characters actually talked and communicated half of the plot would be eliminated. This is this whole series basically because all the couples, one way or another are having issues due to them not communicating and the two major plots in the book could have been simplified by book 2 if all the couples talked.
So I am currently DNFing the omnibus but as I love the smut, maybe I'll eventually persevere and finish the series.

Another stellar book in Ophelia Bell's Dragon universe. This group of books reunited us with the dragons and lovers from "Sleeping Dragons". Now, they must hunt for the missing piece of a mythical medallion that will help them procreate. There are plenty of shenanigans and steam throughout this group of books as we cheer for the gang to win their heart's desires. A fantastic read. You'll never guess who The Council is.

I really enjoyed this following on from the sleeping Dragons. Great world building, storyline and suspense.
The erotic scenes were blistering!! I want my own Dragons!!
What I didn't like was that they were short stories and I wanted more.
That being said Ophelia managed to get what needed to be said into these hot, quick and easy reads.
Lovers of erotic paranormal who dont mind a bit of MF, MM, FF, MMF, MFF and more will enjoy this.

Terrific!
I had to finish the whole series. It was fantastic and very, very hot. The heat will definitely keep you warm and toasty all day and night. I loved the ending which is a new beginning for humans and dragons alike. Everyone’s story was told and it came together beautifully. I definitely recommend this series.

What a series!
Wow, this series is way more than I was expecting, but in a good way. The characters were vibrant and complex, the intertwined storyline captivating and compelling. I will be reading more from this author. If you are looking for a high level of sexually charged encounters then I highly recommend this author and series.

What I love about these books are how accepting everyone but the council is. There is M/M and F/F plus menage's, so make sure you can handle that before reading. The story itself was good as well.

I enjoyed the mixed between fantastic's animals and greek's traditions (temple, gods). Somes hots scenes between dragons and their mates. When we begin we don't want to stop reading. We want to know what's next..

This was well written and overall an interesting take on dragon romance. I would have liked to spend more time getting to know the characters, but I still found myself enjoying this. Absolutely needed to take a break between the books, but I read every last one.

I really enjoyed this series. I loved Corey coming out of his shell and being introduced to Rowan! Damn that’s one hell of a dragon!!
