(Because Nathan Ross is hot)
•Did this book keep me up all night? Yes.
Am I going to hold it against it? Nope.
•I literally had to forgo my sleep just to seek answers about Nathan's past and Alyssa's present.
•Stuff happens in this book. And if happens fast. And hard. Not that I am complaining *smirks*
•I absolutely loved this one. This book is one of my gulity pleasures now!
•My favourite thing about the book is that it has very little "beating around the bush" and so much action. (In this house, we love some nice actions. Possibly with the use of certain *ahem* bodyparts) 😏
•The suspense is healthy and it's so hard to keep it spoiler free like go read it guys.
•A part of me wants someone to un@live Jonathan Ross.
•Nathan Ross, man what a banger.
•Alyssa was amazing. A little confused and timid but amazing nonetheless.
•The spice, my people, is very spicy. Proceed with caution, you wouldn't want to burn yourself.
•We have a beautiful execution of 'IT WAS ONLY EVER YOU' trope and I'm here for it.
•Age gap romance. But this one is beautiful and cool.
•Sports x Romance = SO DAMN AMAZING MY GOD.
•The only thing I regret about ONLY REGRETS is not getting another epilogue probably five years from now. Come on Vanessa, Emery give it to me!!!

I didn’t think I would much like this book at the beginning. Lissie hated Nathan - her dead sister’s boyfriend because she blamed him for killing her dead sister. Yet she lusted after him 😖.
Anyway there was way more to the story going on as we got to later in the book and I really enjoyed it once revelations came to light.

This is my first book by these authors and I can say with true honesty that I enjoyed reading Nathan and Lissie’s story. So much so that I read it in one night.
Filled with dirty talking, steamy scenes and a bit of mystery, it kept me interested throughout the entire book.
Nathan is a hunky, protective, romantic on the outside with a dominant side in the bedroom, bathroom, pool house… you get it… and a man with a troubled history with a father who abused him.
Lissie is a sweet, talented, determined younger woman carrying the pain of losing her sister, and is attempting to start “living” again and achieve her dreams.
Nathan keeping the secrets of Lissie’s sister and his attraction towards Lissie to protect them is finally broken. He is unable to fight off his strong desires for the girl he has always loved.
Lissie is fighting her attraction to Nathan with the anger she feels in the belief that her sister died and it was Nathan who had killed her.
Their desire for each other heightens when she starts working at Taboo, a strip club, and he is her 2nd client on her first night.
His need to keep her to himself makes him her only client as he books her for every night she works. Thank goodness he’s a rich and famous NFL player.
She’s a little virgin angel that has never released her dark desires. Well….not until Nathan that is.
They struggle to fully give in to each other. Between the secrets he holds and her loyalty to her sister and mother, they must find a way to let go or reveal their truths.

1st thought: Relationship was under development and a lot of Lissie‘s emotions are inconsistent. 2nd Nathan is a prototype possessive alpha, dirty talking, little bit broken book boyfriend magic. I kept picture Lincoln from Grey’s.
My favorite part ,outside of Nat’s dirty mouth, was the giddiness I kept feeling, every time I knew what was going to happen I just vibrated with excitement. I mean you know going in despite how they act that they really like each other. They are never going to actually stay away from each other. And that is one of my favorite things about forbidden romance, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, etc. Cause some how it makes you a little embarrassed but it’s so freaking cute you can’t stand it!! This was exactly that.
What keeps this from being a four star for me is a personal preference thing. The characters emotions are inconsistent with their actions and a few plot points were faulty. But I will say the authors always tired to clean it up and I appreciated that. With all that being said this was a first read by these authors for me and after reading the two excerpts included I will definitely be reading more books. (Pretty Little Prey is right up my bully romance living alley.) Cause ultimately they are easy reads, likable characters, and steamy smutty goodness!! Kudos on a good book ladies!

Beautiful written story that is full of intensity and lots of hot steamy scenes. I devoured this book in one setting as it was a true page turner from the start.
Lissie was always a good girl but completely broken on the inside ever since she lost her sister in a car accident. Year later she somehow moves on but all the heartbreak she felt before, comes crashing down at her when her sisters ex boyfriend strolls in her life. There are so many secrets between them but soon enough the truth comes out. Will they able to overcome all the emotions and pit the past behind?
This is a new to me author and I absolutely loved this story.

steeeeamy! semi dark rom - so good
So I know there are a lot of people excited for the Super Bowl, but for me it’s just MEH. I DO, however, absolutely love me some football romance novels. The spicier the better.
The story of Nathan and Lissa totally left me satisfied. Between the sheets this couple was HOT AF! I was totally into the dirty talk and kink. Nathan is a total alpha, but he was also very romantic and tender with Lissa.
This book had a dash of enemies to lovers/soulmates/football/mystery/dark romance all mixed into one. I enjoyed it so much I finished it in a day. Put it on your TBR. You won't be disappointed.

This was my first time reading a book by these authors and it did not disappoint. A semi dark sports romance that was such a quick and easy read (as well as spicy!) - I read it in one sitting.
It was easy to see from the beginning how the two characters had feelings for each other, I just wish they wouldn’t have kept secrets and opened up and been honest from the beginning (but I do understand why they wouldn’t after everything that had happened previously) - they do eventually and it’s all good.
Won’t be my last book by these authors! Can’t wait to read more from them!

I loved this book! From the first chapter to the very end!!
This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions but I loved it! I loved the chemistry between the 2 main characters and all the things they have been through!

wow what a story
I loved how Nathan was so in love with Lessie. But he kept so many secrets for the sake of other people, knowing it would hurt them. But 5hey finally made it.
