Technology has turned against society once again. Arro and Meridian seek help in unlikely places but soon find themselves back in the center of the chaos. Diving deeper is the only way out. Anti-GovCo hackers might be the key to saving humanity, but can they be trusted? Or will they only make the situation worse?
Book two is also a dystopian novel, and though I don't read many of them anymore, this one was worth it.
It has a hint of a possible future reality to it, and is a fight for the freedom of ones thoughts and privacy. Though a light, quick read stylistically, the subject matter makes this series worth it. It doesn't even bother me that there's a lack of description in this novel, it still has my attention. It would make a good movie.
This is the only dystopian series which isn't also a utopian that I will be continuing with if there is a book three. Aren't we all getting a little burned out during the pandemic to keep reading dystopian novels that aren't also about cool spiritual stuff like psychic abilities?
After all they went through in the last book, the virus has been released and insanity begins. Set in this near future world the idea of what the virus leads to was way to believable as a power grab occurs and Arro and Meridian must survive it all. Glued to the end to see what happened next and how these two would survive. Who would be on their rebel side and who would be against them too. Loved the thriller feel and the suspense of what was might happen next.
