Actually for a novella, I think the length was a little too long. It felt a bit draggy at points.

But, I liked that they didn't have a smut scene within 2 chapters. In fact, it was way later in the book. Which is new and I liked it.

Probably 2.5 stars. This felt like it was lacking the heat between the two main characters. The story just felt flat, almost boring - no flair to the story. It felt like some parts of the story were missing. The main conflict didn’t feel resolved and you feel like they’re from money but you don’t get any insight into that.

Some AR’s, I will reread several times - anytime I need a simple comfort read. Others, I read once and know I’ll never read again. This falls into the latter category.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Evie is on scholarship to a prestigious school. Just before graduation she is forced on a ski trip. Connor is a mountain man living at his family’s ski resort. When a group of people come up for the weekend, he doesn’t expect to find love.
The chemistry between Evie and Connor is clear to see and I liked them together.
I hated the way Carter and the others treated Evie. Carter was like an annoying fly I just wanted to swat.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
