As you know the thrill of fear is no stranger to me. So I picked up this book. Here the author gives you a wild non-fiction tour through literature and later movies of the past 250 years. Into the crypt, the grave, melancholy, the gothic surprise, a laughable death, fear among the ruins, old dark houses, stages of fear, explicitness, real life horrors, genrefications, scream and scream again, the great recycling machine, fresh blood and splat. If you need a quick course through all major horrors past this definitely is a great book. A bit dry at some parts but very entertaining and into depths. Really recommended!
