Love isn't an option. But Cupid isn't listening...
Under investigation after a fake harassment claim, Carson Maxwell washes up in Hartley, the tiniest town in the world, for one last-ditch attempt to save the career she loves.
But when she meets dedicated nurse Katie Robinson, it begins to dawn on Carson that keeping to her company's strict no-fraternization rule might not be as easy as she thinks.
Katie loves her town and is fiercely protective of the clinic that Carson is under instruction to close. And she's not above using her charms to persuade the strangely attractive accountant that the clinic is worth saving.
When country mouse and city mouse clash, the last thing they expect is to fall for each other. Too bad that everyone else in town thinks that they're the perfect match...
Count on You is a new stand-alone lesbian romance from Sienna Waters, the bestselling author of The Wrong Date, A Quiet Life, and Tea Leaves & Tourniquets.
City girl meets country girl and learns a few things. Carson has worked hard and has always done what is expected of her. Katie chose to move to a small town to feel grounded. They are opposites that are very attracted to each other. Both women have lessons to learn and a whole town trying to help them. It's a sweet and funny romance that is inspiring.

Wonderful romance with nearly no angst. I enjoyed the book very much due to the lovely MC. A bonus was that this story takes place in a little town with a lot of eccentric people as second characters. They make this story so much better. I would very much like to see this town if it were real 😉 Thank you Sienna Waters for another great book.
Loved this book - so detailed and fine. Excellent writing as always from SW - one of my go to authors. Highly recommended. 16th book of her’s I’ve read!!
I can count on Ms. Waters for a funny, light romance. The town of Hartley where nothing is secret and everyone knows one another is the stage for this book. Katie Robinson is the nurse at the town clinic and Carson Maxwell is a top notch accountant. Her employers recently acquired the clinic and have sent her to audit and determine the viability of keeping the clinic doors open in an effort to get her out of the way of a HR investigation of a sexual harassment claim. A totally bogus claim but Carson has no alternative. Katie, somewhat frustrated as the only (?) lesbian in town hits on Carson upon meeting her in the diner. Neither realizes they are employed by the same company and when they do - no fraternizing allowed, let the fun begin! Doc Donna, Ellen, Trudy and Anna-Leigh stand out as able members of the Hartley community, then there's Carson's friend Nichelle. Forget about the heat and mosquitos, this little town (or should I say Katie) has Carson rethinking her career trajectory. Town's folk, the drama of a plane crash, bravery, love, gossip, humor and sex all blend for a nifty romance with a HEA. Easily recommend and on my re-read shelf for whenever I need a light hearted pick me up!

By now Sienna Waters is one of my favourite authors. Her books just always make me smile and make me happy in general.
The story of Carson & Katie that is set in the tiniest and sweetest towns was just the one I needed. City girl Carson and small-town girl Katie couldn’t be more different. At least at first glance. But on the second glance you will notice that they are perfect for each other. Both didn’t really believe anymore they will find happiness. Well Carson thought she has in her job, but what real happiness is she had no idea until she meets Katie.
Katie on the other hand was always looking for her place in life, for home and most of all for love. Well finding love in Hartley always seemed to be impossible until Carson arrives in town. Both are attracted to each other right away but Carson’s job makes her stay away at first.
Of course in Hartley things work differently than anywhere else. People look out for each other, know each other and are often way too interested in other peoples life. So as much as Carson tries to resist, this town has other plans. And the more time passes she more realises how wonderful this community and even nature can be. What happens in Hartley stays in Hartley, is one thing she learns and that also stuck with me. The more I read the more I wanted I fell in love with this town and all the people. Then aside from Carson & Katie there are several other wonderful and funny people. I especially loved doctor Donna and even believe that her story would be another wonderful read. I definitely would love to read another story in this town. Then Sienna Waters actually made me want to move there right away. I think I have to speak with her for directions and speak with her about whom she is going to give them as well. 😆 Because after others have read this book, I’m sure they will want to move there as well and that could mean the end of tiny Hartley. 😲 So ok maybe I will just stay away as well and let the others live there happy ever after. ☺️
If you want to know what the whole fuss is about this town, read this book. I promise you won’t regret it.

Count On You is one of those books which reminds me of watching a sweet rom-com on TV.
Carson and Katie share an instant attraction, however working for the same company makes acting on it forbidden.
This leads to the obvious obstacles which inevitably will end happily, but the journey there is full of fun characters, witty dialogue, a bunch of nosey small town folk and some intense chemestry.
A cute read that will leave you feeling all the right feels.

I loved this book. I have liked every novel by this author I have read yet somehow I keep forgetting to grab another one. I am glad that I keep coming back though. This is a relatively simple and straightforward novel, in a good way, that was well written and a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There wasn’t anything truly groundbreaking or that I think will stick with me months from now, but it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this novel, and most of the others by this author, to any reader. I think this would make an excellent romantic comedy if any filmmakers out there are looking for a story to adapt.
My Rating: “A-“ Converted rating: 5-Stars
Highlights: -Nailed the small-town vibes. There was gossip, everyone knows everyone, and they don’t quite care about the rules of the outside world as they make their own. Its just a delightful cozy setting. -I loved the uptight lady being terrorized by the friendly, good natured small town. -Everyone in town simply couldn’t stop talking. I don’t know why this detail was so fun but it was. -There were plot twists (multiple) that I did NOT see coming. Always appreciated. -The writing was very well done. It was clever, snappy, and fun. -Their “not-date” at the diner. I loved it! So fun. I wish this was a movie so I could see the scene play out live. -The mysterious small-town scandal. Bonus mystery! -Just a nice, fun book. There was plot but it wasn’t huge. Not overly dramatic, the problems were realistic and believable.
No downsides or issues to report. I have nothing bad to say about this novel.
Sometimes you just need a book that wraps you up in a warm blanket of good feelings and this book is just that. The leading ladies are intelligent, strong women that are riddled with chemistry together, but it's the town and all the extra hearts beating around them that makes you sigh in relief. A town with a magic of its own helps its people find a home that they can carry with them no matter where they go. Who wouldn't want to get a glimpse of that? The angst is minimal. The feels are as fluffy as the snow blanketing the perfect town. The wholesomeness of this read makes the world shine a bit brighter and the air you breathe a bit warmer:) Throw in a dash of grabby, wandering hands that ignite a few pages... and voila! The perfect read.

Another lovely read from Ms Waters, who never fails to produce really good books. This one pits accountant Carson against nurse Katie who works at the clinic Carson has been sent to shut. Good plot and strong leading characters, would highly recommend.
If you want a light, but we’ll written, romance with charming location and a cast of interesting characters then this is the thing for you. Both mains are likeable and believable. The story is well paced and with enough action but without all that repetitive miscommunication angst. This isn’t a 5* story that will stay with you or that explores deep or dark themes, but it is another in a growing catalogue of reliably enjoyable books by this author. Sometimes reliably enjoyable is just exactly what I want.

I always enjoy Sienna Waters’ books. This has become a favourite. The main characters, Carson who is thrown out of her comfort zone, and the really likeable Katie, were believable and relatable. Add the small town vibe with it’s ‘real’ setting and quirky cast of secondary characters and you have a book really worth reading. Very feel good.

Carson is an accountant for a large firm and is trying to get to the highest rung on the ladder. Katie is a nurse in a remote town working at a clinic. Their paths cross when Carson is sent to the town to review the clinic. The plot centers around Carson's audit of the clinic and her attraction to Katie. There is love, drama and fear as they find attraction in a town that has no secrets and a company that forbids fraternization with clients. Both Carson and Katie have to figure out what they want and how to get to where they want. I recommend this book for romance readers. Another winner from Sienna. Carson is a high flying accountant and the town of Hartley is completely off her radar. Until it’s not. Even dividing the square foot of the place by its occupants doesn’t seem as small as the place itself. Katie a nurse in the clinic is the only lesbian in the village so the arrival of Carson gets more than just Katie’s blood flowing. Both MC’s are cute and totally made for each other. The story is fresh and the scenery is described in such a way you want to move there. Wonderful book.

I love where Sienna Waters can take us and Hartley was another interesting place. Katie was a special and sweet person who is the nurse at the clinic. Carson was a tough stay with the rules type of person who is going to Hartley to audit the clinic her company recently acquired. But when they meet in the local cafe sparks fly before they each realize who they are. Carson is there to basically decide if the clinic should stay open even though it is not generating money. The clinic where Katie is working. The ending wasn’t my favorite but the book still was very good.
A lovely warm hearted romance with great characters, great storyline and wonderful setting. I have a soft spot for small town romance and this is a perfect example with the F/F adding a slightly current angle on a fairly standard Hallmark type romance. Nothing wrong with that who doesn't love a Hallmark story. This is a new author for me but one I will be reading more of.

Ok, so I am blowing my nose again! This story is so tender.
Sienna Waters really has a lovely way with words. I loved how deeply she has brought this town to life, the characters she has drawn and the intensity of the town situation. The love story is deep, the history of the MC’s are reality based. I felt the anxiety and cringed and cried with the characters. Really well done!
I loved the characters in this story they just seemed so real and personal and like I knew them and it’s so engaging and you just want to cheer them on.

Another warm hearted romance story with strong likable characters and quirky amusing characters. An easy read, but a sweet portrayal of small mountain towns. Having grown up in one, these characters are the best of real life and a joy to read.
I loved this story as I do all of this authors books. The small town is probably the same as lots of small towns. Great main characters with lots of love. Great ending.
4 stars. Very cute and easy breezy type of read. I liked it a lot. I like Waters writing style a lot but I have yet to read a book from her that I absolutely love. This was fun though.
I gotta give Katie credit for moving to such a small town and making it work. Sienna Waters creates a town that makes me laugh, smile, and root for when the planes go down.
Sienna Waters is one of my favorite romance authors for a reason. Waters makes complicated work into a romance that makes you ache, smile, and maybe get a little heated. (wink) I love the interaction between Katie and Carson. I really want to read Nichelle’s story, but that looks like it could be just as fun.
I could not live in Hartley, so bless Katie and Carson for making it heated enough that I really loved staying there awhile.
