Overview: 4.9🌟, An absolute roller coaster, a true story drenched in a lot of metaphysical and metaexistential depth. I have now consumed both versions and must i say, the Story, art, worldbuilding and premise are so unique and well written, this is peak fiction. one of the best Novels/Manhwa out there.
For my personal ratings, this isn't far from perfection, the world building is complex, the characters are deep and the emotion and drive of the plot are genuinely so well written.
The MetaBus arc was a little slow but the strength of everything else is so redeeming that this has to be rated incredibly high.
The characters have powerful perspectives and vivid identities, are well designed and most develop in a meaningful way. These individual worldviews clash in such decisive and meaningful ways that drive the plot snd the development into further heights.
The writing has its more convoluted moments, especially in the unrevised version, but is resolved and when you truly immerse yourself, it's so well thought out and intensely enjoyable. The tower and dystopia genre is densely populated to say the least, but this novel takes a deeper and darker turn on the more existential and metaphysical understanding of it all, its dark, deep and explores these themes unlike anything I've seen before and overall that makes a phenomenal story. The World After The End is second only to ORV in its writing but interlocks in an incrediblely complex and satisfying way.
