I’ve fucked a lot of football players.

I guess I’m supposed to be offended, but I don’t really care.
I’m in college.
I’m young and single and hot.
This is the only time in my life when I can have a lot of sex and it not be considered a “problem” or a “distraction.”
Who knows?
I may stay this way forever.
I don’t really care what people think of me.
I’m enjoying my life.
It's a short novel of 46 pages, so I don't think there's any cheating.

Way to switch it up, Gigi, and give us a virgin college guy ~ you don't see that too often. Malik seemed to catch on pretty quickly though. I'm not really sure the title matches the persona of how he really acted either. But, all in all, this was a super quick insta-connection read that you could finish before your lunch break is over.

Argumento:

Mi humilde opinión:

La lectura fue muy corta. Un puñado de capítulos que me los devoré camino al trabajo.

Un romance de universidad con algo de vapor: Por un lado está Dalia, la chica fiestera que es conocida por los futbolistas como la cazadora de camisetas y no está exactamente buscando una relación seria, solo quiere divertirse sin ataduras. Malik es el quarterback recién llegado al equipo y la figura que promete ganar el campeonato pero lo que nadie sabe es que es virgen, más bien del tipo tímido y lejos de ser mujeriego. Ambos se conocen en una fiesta y se sienten atraídos, se suponía que solo sería una noche de pasión pero Malik que juega para ganar no lo dejará en una noche y luchará para quedarse con la chica.

Dalia es la que se divierte con un chico diferente en cada fiesta y no le interesa una relación seria con ninguno. Malik es el romántico inocente. No esperaba ese giro pero me gustó que se inviertan los papeles porque generalmente en este tipo de romance es el héroe el que no tiene citas y es el mujeriego hasta que conoce a la indicada.

Todo se sintió más un prólogo de la historia de Malik y Dalia que una completa. Me quedé con ganas de leer el desarrollo de su historia de amor porque solo vi su insta conexión y lujuria nada más. Pero obtuve un vistazo en el prólogo y en general estuvo ok para lo que fue: una sexy lectura rápida.

This is book number 3 of the Steamy Football U series and focuses on Malik and Dalia. Malik is the schools new quarterback and and unlike most of his teammates, he is not a player off the field. He is actually a virgin but he has his sights set on Dalia. Malik knows that he wants Dalia to be his first and hopefully much more, he just has to get her on board with his plan. Dalia is considered a jersey chaser and goes after who and what she wants. She doesn't want a relationship but things change for her once her once they finally get together. They may seem like they are opposites, but together they just make sense. This was a great addition to the series.

He wasn't, but she was

Wow, our h just went for it in her life and our H more reserved.

She tried out who she wanted and what she wanted this time was someone to truly satisfy her. He gives her something she wasn't going to find elsewhere and they both realized this was love.

She was a unique character for me, a female lead that just went for whoever she wanted. He was a sweet guy and they just worked together. I'm not a person who believes in sleeping around so I couldn't enjoy her as a character at 1st but then you see she needed someone like him to balance her out.

This short and steamy college based romance puts a twist on the player by making it the h of the story. Dalia is a jersey chaser for her college’s football team. She’s not a relationship type of girl and just plans to have fun during college. Then she meets Malik, the new quarterback. He’s not the player his teammates are but he is drawn to Dalia. He wants her to be his first but he’s hoping he’ll get a chance to make her more. I liked the characters in this book and the way their story plays out. I also really liked the ending.

Dalia is a jersey chaser and very comfortable with that. Malik is not inexperienced with women, but has kept from going “all the way”. He just happens to meet Dalia when he decided it was time to go the rest of the way. They don’t hit it off immediately. but pretty quickly and it doesn’t take long for her to only chase one jersey. I really like how realistic he is about himself.

Malik is the new quarterback and is finally ready to go all the way.. that's when he meets her... she's the one !!! but, he wants to keep her and not only for one night... will Dalia only chase him ?

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Dahlia and Malik. He's a freshman quarterback and she's a junior who took to chasing jerseys to avoid a relationship. Malik gets introduced to Dahlia at a party and almost fails at impressing her. But when they finally talk, she sees a different side of him she likes. Great future for these two.
