I have loved this series and characters from the beginning, so while I’m sad that this is the last book, damn, what a way to end a series. My attention span has been shot all to hell over the last few days, but Sweet Punk managed to capture my attention and keep ahold of it until the very last page. It helps that this is definitely the hottest book that Leila has written. Seriously, Kellan and Star are so hot they practically light the page on fire. These two characters are absolutely amazing and their character development is amazing. Kellan is just so damn sweet and Star is patient and understanding in a way that you don’t see often. They have both been dealt some shit hands in life and things definitely haven’t been easy for either of them, but they are absolutely perfect for each other. And you know what’s better than a dirty talking MMC? That would be when both main characters are dirty talkers! Did I mention that this is Leila’s hottest book? I did? Good, because I wanted to make sure. Just do yourself a favor and read this book. Actually read the entire series, because it’s amazing and I can’t wait to see what Leila does next.

Kellan and Star are these quiet reclusive people, And you just wanna know what is the dealWhat made them the way they are So what drawn from People And then that's when you get your mind blown!! When they get the truths out, work through issuees between them, They turn out to be an Incredible couple, That you want nothing more than to see them succeed because they both deserve the best especially for what they've been through! This series Is yet another example of why I love this author so much You've got Really messed up situations But it's balanced Really great situations are outcomes And just makes the story flow seamlessly from book one to the final bk three! I am going to so miss The River Elite Aademy How much is this is a hell of a journey This is a definitely read It was so good!!!!!

Holy hotness! This was Leila James’ hottest book! Every book she writes in incredible but this one blew me away! 🔥🥵🌶
This book had it all. An incredible cast of characters. Characters that you fall hard and care for. I have loved every couple in this series so much. Each have a unique awesome story that plays with your emotions. Kellan and Star’s story is exactly that too. And they win the award for hottest couple, seriously, drooling!! Their story had mystery, sadness, soooo much spicyness and most of all an incredible romance story.
Sweet beautiful messed up swoony as allll heck Kellan. Holy incredible!!! Dude is H-O-T!!! He brings so much to this story, baggage, baggage that showcases a broken boy who needs to find the right person to fix him. Enter Star. Star has a story of her own. Mystery and intrigue that literally had me on the edge of my seat up until the end. These two together start off with such an oof moment that it has you laughing and cringing at the same time. Ohhhh, sparks fly, they help each other so much. Taking two people who are sooo broken and making them whole, such incredible writing. I loved this book soooo much.
Nothing is better than a series of incredible friends working together to work out their problems, which also brings them closer together to be a family. The epilogue in this incredible book showcases that. Togetherness!!! I loved this story so much. I loved this series soooo much. I am so sad to see these characters go. But so glad I got to read them. Leila James you are a shining star! Thank you for your incredible stories! So excited to see what you come up with next. 😍❤️

Leila has done it again, this series has blown me away! I have loved this crew and I'm sad to see this series come to an end. Leila worked some serious magic in this series, so many unpredictable twists and turns!
Star and Kellan's story...GAH...it was so good!! The character growth is phenomenal. You could feel the emotions coming off the pages. They've both been through so much (I really loathe their parents). We get to see them grow together and battle their demons, it's just a beautiful journey.
I wish I had better words to summarize this amazing story (and series), but all I can come up with is WOW! I can't recommend this series enough, super unique!

Ohhhhhhhhh Kellan. You sweet punk you. I knew you were going to wreck me. I knew you were going to rip my ever loving heart out. I wasn't prepared for your artist's heart, your selflessness, or your protective nature. Gah! And Star... girl! The epitome of strength, courage, and fierce bravery! These two, together? Their compatibility and chemistry is seriously off the charts! Without giving any of this all encompassing plot away, I just have to say BRAVO, LEILA! I fall harder and harder for each couple you introduce us to, and I LOVE it! I'll be rocking my Shadow River Elite merch everywhere I go and sharing this series with everyone I meet! Incredibly well done! Five + stars for Star and Kellan, these two are one couple you'll never forget, one you'll find yourself rereading over and over again! See y'all on another page!

Sweet Punk was such an incredible conclusion to the Shadow River Elite series but I am so sad to see this series end. I fell in love with all of the characters from the very first book and anticipated seeing what was going on with all of them as I continued reading through the series.
I was incredibly curious about Kellan from the beginning and had a feeling he would end up being my favorite once we got his story and I was absolutely correct in that assumption. While I absolutely loved all of the individuals and the couple's stories, this one was the best and the most emotional for me.
Just hearing about what both Star and Kellan went through and how much it affected the both of them got me super emotional and had me rooting for them even more than I did for Lux & Hawk and Raven & Maddox.
I loved Kellan. I loved everything there was about him and enjoyed seeing him work through his own issues throughout the book. I loved how much he cared about Star and reading their story truly just made me love them even more.
I cannot wait to see what Leila comes up with next because after reading both this series and the Rosehaven Academy series by her, she has definitely become one of my favorite authors.
I definitely recommend everyone read this book and this entire series (or anything else by Leila).

I am sad and heartbroken. Not at the ending of Kellan and Star's story, but at the realization that this was the last book in this series. I need more of these characters. More of Shadow River University.
Kellan is a tortured hero. An artist with a beautiful soul. Star is tortured in her own way. Scared and running from her past. These to beautiful people find their way to each other. I was blown away by Star's thoughtfulness in working with Kellan and his struggles from the past.
Bravo to Leila James. This is my new favorite couple of hers! I cannot wait to see what she has up her sleeve next. I know it will be as amazing as this series was.

Both Kellan and Star are individually reclusive, and the urge to know what made them this way is intense
The character development of both of them is stunning, you can really feel the emotions coming out of the page. The amount they’ve been through and the trauma caused by family members is enough to make you cry. Together they grow and defeat their demons, it’s a stunning story.
The path is painful, difficulty and full of hurdles, but the HEA is worth everything these two throw at us
Leila, you’re a genius, I can’t wait to see what you bring next 💕

Gahhhhh. I could not put this book down and devoured it in less than 12 hours! Kellan and Star are just fantastic together and a perfect ending to this series. The character growth in this book is just phenomenal and you've seen bits and pieces throughout all of the books. I love the little hints of the story that were dropped in the other two books to really bring the whole series together. I'm so sad that it is over but don't regret a single second of reading them.

I absolutely love and sometimes hate Leila James for the twists and turns she throws at us in her books. I don’t know what we did to deserve Kellan and Star but I’m so glad we did. Kellan is the artsy, quiet, broody man across the hall and Star is nerdy, seeming reserved and hiding from something. Will their secrets bring them together or tear them apart? You’ll have to read it to find out.

Sweet Punk was such a great read! This book is the conclusion of Shadow River Elite series and I was so sad to see it end but WOW what an ending. Kellan and Star couldn’t be more perfect for each other and the chemistry between the two was off the charts! There is nothing better than to be drawn into a book with the characters and story line and this book definitely accomplished that for me. I can’t wait to see what comes next in Leila James books!

Kellan & Star were such a unique couple. Both quiet, kind of reserved and dealing with demons they find each other, love and the ability to fight those demons for and with the other person. What a perfect title, Sweet Punk, perfectly describes them. Leila's writing is always spot on, and this book is no different. I suggest reading the entire series, but this one can certainly be read on its own.

What a great couple to conclude shadow river elite series. Star and Kellan are so similar. Both of them are introverts and have secrets they keep from theirs friends. I love how they help each other in ways no one else can. Star is calming and doesn't push Kellan. Kellan is strong and protective. I love them !!!!!

Each book is a different couple with a unique, beautiful, and suspenseful love story. And this one is Kellan and Star’s…
Kellan is the quiet artist of the group. He will always have his friends backs but if he hadto pick between a campus party and staying home with his two best friends, he would definitely stay home. Star, the girl across the hall is the same way except she is more into computers than art. They have both witnessed their suite mates falling in love with each other and what they didn’t expect was the pull between them…
Kellan is a mystery to Star. He doesn’t speak much but his eyes are intense. Star is also a mystery to Kellan. He sees more to her than the computer nerd. They both sense a darkness looming over the other. Maybe this is why they get each other but they both want to know more. What is lying beneath the surface? What are they handing from the world? And will it tear them down in the end?
These two… I want to just hug them! I can’t get into their journey without spoilers but I will say it was quite the ride. I could feel Kellan passion for art throughout the book and it was beautiful. I could also feel Star and Kellan’s passion for each other. It’s definitely not a hearts and butterflies romance but there are roses involved.
Overall, the story is full of suspense, heat, friendship, love, and passion. I have loved this series and can’t wait for more from Leila.

Good Lordy! What a way to finished a series. I’m so in love with Star and Kellan! I think their story might have been my favorite out of the three. Book 1 had a crazy twist I still can’t get over, book 2 was a bully romance and really you can’t get better than that. But book 3, just wow. The love and trust they develop together is just breathtaking. It’s absolutely what everyone wants in life. Someone to help heal past scars and move forward together.
I wasn’t really sure what this book would entail because both characters really kept to themselves the first 2 books. But I loved getting to know Star. I do wish we go to see more of her love for computers but it was so intense getting to see the real her. The past she carried around with her, it explains so much. And Kellan wow do I love him. What a broke soul that just took my breath away. I loved that I was able to feel what he felt about his art though the words the author wrote. It was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t get enough of his POV. It’s one of my favorite things about this series, even though they are duel POV..I feel like the leading POV has been the guys in each book. And that just does it for me!
Ok now to the good stuff the smut! Sweet Jesus was it good! Like I thought book 1 and 2 had good smut but it’s nothing compared to this book. And it’s definitely a different kind of smut. I bit innocent but oh so hot! The demanding way the Kellan was, was WOW! I couldn’t get enough of them together!
Seriously such an amazing book all around! An amazing series really! I need more of all their stories. But the author left it on such a wonderful ending tying everything together perfectly.

I'm not ready to say goodbye. Not in the least. 6 people, 6 mostly tragic backgroungds makes 3
wonderful love stories. This time isn a "favourite" couple for me. But that is good. I liked them all the
same. But Kellan`s and Star`s story got to me the most. The devastating try to be "normal”, the wish
to be accepted as you are, being loved and understand. Never have two people been better for each
other than these two. I could and I`ve felt with their thouights, behaviour and actions. Kellan was
such a brave guy. His will to be the man for Star. To overcome his deep issues. He will always have a
special place in my heart. And Star? She is a strong girl most of the time. Despite everything she
never gave really up. And especially not when it counted most. There was never once the question if
there will be a HEA. Only in which way we get it. Yes, it was painful. Yes, it was difficult. But worth
every minute. The “bad” circumstances in this story? Yeah, that was hard to read. From both sides.
But it made the end oh so sweeter. Leila has created a world that will be impossible to forget, or to
let go completly. At least for me. She writes her stories in a way that you cannot put the book down.
I tried. Many times. So, I read it in one go. And in the end there was only one big regret. Why is it
over. Thank you, Leila.

This was an OK end to the series. While I read the book quickly it still left me feeling like something was lacking. I'm not quite sure what either. Maybe each character's struggle was too similar? Family issues that are pretty parallel and a quick wrap up to the problems. I did like the way that the two main characters were with one another. They were great together. I just wasn't a huge fan of the outside conflict in this book. Overall I enjoyed the series and I'm glad that I read all of the books in the series. The entire series was a quick read and pretty enjoyable for the most part.

Kellan Murphy is an artistic, damaged, caring soul. He has his walls up but the sweet and sassy Star St James across the hall has her eyes on him and is trying to break them down slowly! This book is the true definition of “It isn’t the destination… it’s the trip to get there!”
This book had me panting at times and then heart racing from the angst and then tearing up at a few heartbreaking confessions being made. Kellan has more than a few confessions to make and as they are revealed… you will be astounded.
Whew! I hope you read Beautiful Nightmare and Perfect Chaos before this one so you can understand the building of the heat! This last book in the series is ABSOLUTELY EXPLOSIVE AND SPICY!
If you’re looking for angst, spice, budding romance, and true character development… this is the book for you! My girl Leila has done it again!!! She is a true wordsmith and story teller!!! I’m hoping another sexy boy whispers in her ear soon so we can get some new steamy, sexy romance!!!

What an ending to such a great series. I blew through this book in one day. I didn’t want it to end, but at the same time I couldn’t put it down.
The pain and anguish between both characters just pulled at my heart strings. There was a few times where I wanted to jump through the book and shake both of them and say wake up!! But once you hear both of their back story’s it just breaks your heart and you understand why they are both so hesitant to become close to one another. Let me tell you, when that does happen it’s like a bomb went off, the connection between the both of them is amazing. I loved how patient Star was with Kellan, not even knowing what he had been through. And the way Kellan was so protective of Star ⭐️😍. Their chemistry was off the charts. If you haven’t read any books from Leila James please do yourself a favor and check her out, you will not be disappointed. I’m so excited to see what her next adventure will be! 😍🔥

What a bittersweet moment. I really did not want this series to end. But Sweet Punk was incredible!! I couldn’t put this book down and devoured it in one sitting! Definitely a page tuner!!! Leila James you have created three stories each so unique and beautiful that have truly captivated my heart.
This book was so well written; the story takes us on a wild ride as we uncover the mystery that is Kellan and Star. Well, this is the perfect ending for the series.. I'm not gonna leave spoilers but you need to read the while series from the beginning!
Lux and Hawk from the first book are still my favourite but Star and Kellan are pure fire! They are perfect for each other, they have gone through so much but they are so inspiring...

I was on the edge of my seat with this book!! What a way to end this series, and I am sad that it has ended. This finale did NOT disappoint. I just knew this was going to be my favorite book of the series and I was right.
There was so much going on in just this one book I was amazed at how complex it was. They both had a past, and I was glad they could lean on each other, and even with just a look, it wasn't always words spoken between the two of them. They just got each other.
This book was incredibly written and I can't wait to see what is next for this author!!!

What a ride ! While I’m sad that Sweet Punk is the last of this series, it couldn’t have ended on a better note ! I loved Kellan and Star from the beginning and boy were they an amazing couple ! Leila really outdid herself with this book ! Beautifully written, great character development, and so hot ! 👏🏻

Loved loved loved. Leila James has done it again. This books gets you from the get go and you don’t want the book to end. Another favourite couple to add to my collection. A must read and would recommend.

Like movies, sequels are generally not as good as the original. Sweet Punk is the exception! Hands down it was the best of the three Shadow River Elite. It was sooooo good, I'm on my third read. I cannot get enough of Kellan and Star.
I've said it before and I'll say it again and again and again. Leila James is a masterful character builder and story teller. I feel like I am bffs with Kellan and Star and a part of their story. Their fears and anxieties are realistic, just the same as you and me, and I can't help but be rooting for them!
I need more Shadow River Elite, for sure.

I have loved this series since the start. Leila did it again and blow me away with this book. I loved every person from each book. Kellan and Star quiet and secrecy person and you want to learn more about them. This story have so much sadness but also lots of Spice!! Theyre just perfect together. This is a good conclusion for the shadow river elite series!!

My chest heaves with a tortured breath, then my mouth crashes on hers. I'm so full of want, the feel of her lips against mine practically sends me to my knees.
Like all Leila James’ books, I couldn’t put this down. I started it last night while visiting my mother. Got up at 5am to drive 7 hours back home. And all I could think about is getting home to read this book. I dropped my bags, parked on the couch, skipped lunch and I didn’t care that I was starving. I love this book. And I was going to finish it.
There’s no sweeter couple, than Kellan and Star. But with that sweetness comes a high steam factor and boy does Kellan bring it. I loved this slow burn. And I so wanted to high five Kellan. Dude brought that sexiness full throttle.
He sucks my lip into his mouth before growling against my lips, "You're so fuckin' beautiful when you fall apart."
The depth of feeling these two have and how they find their strength with the support of each other is moving and inspirational. It is refreshing to see this man, with a budding Alpha locked away, find confidence when the right woman had the key to unlock it. You don’t see that very often in books and it is refreshing.
A truly stellar final book to end this amazing series. And hence, got teary when I finished as there will be no more. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Leila James. She is definitely an automatic read for me.
