Savage. Charming. Alpha.

Camel always gets what he wants. Except now, the one thing he wants is the one thing he can’t have. His first pack taught him that anything could be taken away if he wasn’t willing to fight for it. Like his pack brothers, he has a soulmate out in the universe waiting for him, and though Camel knows finding that person will help his pack save the world, he can’t stop fighting for a man more attracted to trouble than he is.

Fulton has a dangerous secret, one he’s tried to ignore for too long. He’s already put his family in danger and it’s time he faces the dark destiny that awaits him. He has so many regrets, but none as powerful as the day he met Camel. The alpha’s kisses are torture and his touches are a poison that make Fulton want what doesn’t belong to him.

Fulton is jealous of a man he hasn’t met, a man he’ll never meet if he dies attempting to take back his future. Camel should be off looking for that man, but the arrogant shifter won’t let Fulton out of his sight, forcing Fulton to fight not just his demons, but his own heart.

Envy is the fourth and final book in the Wolves of Resurrection Road series. It is an action-packed, unrestrained romance in a world of wolf shifters, angels, demons, and mpreg like you’ve never seen before. For maximum enjoyment, this series should be read in order.

I have to be honest; I didn't feel one way or the other about Camel from the other books. I didn't care if he got his own book, but now I'm glad he did. He was exactly the type of hero I love-gruff, possessive, demanding. He's my favorite character from this series.

Fulton didn't come across to me the way he did in the other books. He kind of turned into a cry-baby but I still liked him. I just wish he'd kept his edge about him.

I was a little disappointed with the Jake-Claus-baby thing. It was anti-climatic. Plus, I wanted to see more of them and their family. What did Claus feel? I wanted to see the birth, maybe some drama from it. It was all behind the scenes, and I missed that. Ever since we found out Jake was pregnant and the risk, I wanted a happy ending for them. I wanted to see Claus melt when he held his baby for the first time. Maybe the author will follow up with a novella about them.

Overall, it was the best in the series. I'm going to miss them.

Fulton and Camel are my favorite couple in Resurrection Road.
Storri and Faust are my favorite in Royal Paynes.
Kansas and Wyatt are my favorite in Walker County.

The three series are in the same world and connected, especially this series. I would NOT recommend reading this series without first reading Walker County and then Royal Paynes. (Also, there is a book for Claus and Jake and a novella for Pani and Dom that comes after Royal Paynes and is an opening number for Resurrection Road.)

All three together makes a MAGICAL experience.

Seriously. No cheating, no cringey ex drama, AND men getting other men pregnant?

I’ve had two babies, so yeah…
…if it were possible…
…my husband would so be having the third.

Anyway!~~ I don’t wanna give anything away, so I’ll just say I loved Walker, Royal and Resurrection. Each book is worth reading, and overall, the world Kiki built gets all the stars~~

The only problem is, the book hangover…

Will there be more? Probably not…maybe a novella? But, if this is the last we see of this world, these characters, then at least the ride was worth the crash I am now experiencing.

I'm not completely sure but I think I have read most of Kiki Burrelli's books (there are most certainly quite a few). "Envy," is the 4th of what I am fairly certain is the last in this particular series, "Wolves of Resurrection Road." It is a spin-off of sorts from the Walker County Pack and Royal Paynes Pack. All these stories are connected in one way or another and lead up to a grand finale in this book.

Each book is amazing and can be read as a stand alone but really is so much more fun if read in order (the definition of fun would be cake with icing...the definition of more fun would be to add ice cream on top of that). The characters in each book either know or get to know one another...which is a LOT of wolf shifters...and one Hell hound.

This book, Envy, tells the story of Camel and Fulton. Camel being the youngest of the Nomad Pack and Fulton being the human twin of Ford who is with another pack. Camel and Fulton are the main protagonists in this story. Of course they have one of those I-hate-you-but-please-don't-go-away kinda relationships. As with all of Ms. Burrelli's books the characters are so well developed and the story is paced perfectly. The book (as with her others) is set an a medium level of angst and drama. So much drama. End-of-the-world drama. Even though I was fairly certain there was going to be an HEA, I was still am unable to put the book down because I had to make sure the character survived whatever horrible thing was happening.

In looking at the above I am reminded about being concerned whether or not the protagonist is going to make it. You know how some books have dramatic moments but it seems so contrived that all you can do is roll your eyes? Well, another of this author's gifts is that you never feel anything is made-up for the sake of the book. Everything is written in such a way that it feels completely believable and real. That is most certainly a skill (I think of it as a form of art). This book has drama, heartbreak, more drama, some non-gratuitous sexy time, snark.... a lot of snark, and an absolutely amazing ending with a very satisfying HEA. Oh...and there is maybe not a dog but there is a huge Hell hound and another appearance by Mr. Boots. Kudos to this author for giving us another top notch story.

Camel is stubborn, for sure. He knows that he wants Fulton, but Fulton is positive that he can't stay with Camel, because he's not Camel's soul mate. Of course, Fulton is hiding things that might influence that too, so there's that.

This was a good way to end this series.

I can't believe after 3 complete series it's coming to an end! While I could read Kiki's books set in this world for forever, this was such a good ending. Everything I wanted to see happen did, and there were also some huge surprises along the way. Camel has been my favorite of the rogues, and I was more than happy with his HEA with Fulton, they were so perfect for each other! I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say this book was emotional, action packed, full of hope, and really exactly what you could ask for in an ending to an epic saga.

For some reason I just couldn't get into this book. Unlike the other books in the series, I just didn't care about this couple. I pretty much knew where it was going and didn't really feel like taking the journey to get to the point where I knew the story was going to end up.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

Man, Kiki has done it again. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought it was a great ending to the Wolves of Resurrection Road Series. The chemistry between Camel and Fulton was completely off the charts. Camel, has watched his other pack brothers meet their soul mates. He knows that he has a soul mate out there and has to find and protect him as the world could depend on it. What he knows that he should do matters way less than how he feels. He knows that Fulton isn’t his soul mate, but his head is telling him that spending all his time with protecting Fulton from all the danger he seems to get himself in, way more than a human should could destroy humanity, but his heart is telling him that he shouldn’t let Fulton out of his sight. Fulton, is hiding a secret. Ten years ago his twin brother Ford was dying, and in order to save him, he made a deal with a demon king, and became his soul servant. He’s kept himself hidden from the demon king since then, by getting a magically enhanced tattoo/mark that keeps the demon king being able to make Fulton do whatever he asks of him, as well of him not being able to be tracked. Therefore he’s essentially working against Ford, Camel, his pack and humanity as a whole. Fulton decides to ditch Camel while on a mission to get a weapon to kill a demon king, which will save humanity and therefore Ford’s life. Things heat up between them but Fulton knows there’s no future for them, as Camel has a soul mate to find and protect.

Camel refuses to give up on Fulton and tracks him down to bring him back to the Cathedral but on the way back Camel is injured and Fulton is taken prisoner by Camel’s pack as they think the worst of him, as he sent a computer virus to the Cathedral’s security system which gave the soul servants full access that resulted in a lot of the pack being severely injured, and nearly dying. They don’t let Fulton know how Camel is after he was injured but since Camel knows the reason why he ran, why he sold his soul and what he’s planning to do in order to get it back. He’s tracked down a way to travel to Hell as a human without dying, it’s only been done once before when Jake and Claus ended up there. Claus gave Jake part of his soul/a wraith which bound them together. Fulton’s wanting to get his soul back and also find a way to destroy the soul contract hopefully without dying. Camel barges in to Fulton’s cell all angry because his pack held him prisoner, when he sees what Fulton is doing and grabs onto him. Fulton ends up sharing the petrified wraith with Camel by forcing it down his throat as he’s going to go through the portal with Fulton, so hopefully half the amount each will be enough to protect them. Their trip to Hell isn’t smooth sailing, but that’s to be expected. I thought it was a beautiful moment when Camel and Fulton found out that they were soul mates, as Camel could locate Fulton’s soul out of the fountain that held all the soul’s of the soul servants working for the demon king that Fulton made a deal with to save Ford’s life. I enjoyed all the Wolves of the World packs working together to save humanity. I’m looking forward to reading whatever Kiki releases next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

4.5 Stars. I love this series and the ones before it. I hope more stories happen in this universe, but if not this was a great conclusion. This book made me cry and laugh, signs of a well written story.

My only complaint is that it could have used one more round of editing before releasing. I know it came out two months early, which I’m thankful for because I was dying to know what happened, but the early release is apparent in the book. There were careless errors like “passed” instead of “past” as well as character names getting mixed up - Knox instead of Abel, Petal being called Bruno’s daughter when she’s Micah’s, etc. Also there was one plot hole where Fulton goes into labor naked but is somehow clothed when the baby arrives? No explanation for that.

Otherwise, the story was enjoyable and action-packed! I loved Dante’s ending even though I’m sad he won’t get his own book. It makes sense for his character, but I’m still bummed because aside from Claus he’s my favorite. SPOILER ALERT: Shadow’s story was interesting too. I’d love it if Kiki wrote a book about him and the archivist reconnecting - or at least a short story like with Dom and Pani. But I understand if she just wants to move on and write something else. Whatever it is, I’ll be sure to read it because she’s a talented and funny author!

Fulton would do anything to help his brother, Ford which is why 10 years ago he sold his soul so a demon would heal his dying brother. His brother was healed and then disappeared. Fulton spent years searching for him and when he did find him, Ford and his friends were having demon problems. Fulton will do whatever he can to help out his brother and his pack but he knows he can't stay too near because he has soul hunters out to kill him. If that isn't rough enough, Fulton has strong feelings for one of his brother's friends, Camel. Fulton knows that Camel has a fated mate waiting for him and they have to be together to save the world. However Camel seems intent on staying with Fulton.

Camel is the fourth guardian who is destined to mate the last cherub. Without the last cherub, the earth may fall to the demons. Everyone keeps pressuring him to search for his mate but all he wants to do is be with Fulton. Everyone keeps telling him that Fulton can't be trusted and he is dangerous. Camel just sees Fulton as the man he wants to love. When Camel starts learning Fulton's secrets, he learns his love is going to be hard to save and protect. Camel will go to hell to protect Fulton, literally.

Camel and Fulton story was exhilarating and packed with danger at every corner.
They had one of the most difficult journey to find their happiness as the circumstances kept making them pull further and further apart.
Some decisions from the past made their connection difficult to sense, they teases each other and said hurtful things that was against their own good.
The danger was constantly present in their journey and when you thought a moment of reprieve is ahead something else happens that brings danger in front.
Fulton is constantly misunderstood and judged for things he didn't do, is often alone and he constantly earns do be noticed and loved.
The characters dynamics is exquisite and the events keeps you constantly on the edge, some bonds that form are unexpected and brings more grief and difficulty to their plans as well as some very well kept secrets are brought to light.
I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

Envy is the last book in the Wolves of Resurrection Road saga and in this world, having an epic ending and at the height of this fabulous story.
Camel is determined not to let Fulton go and I loved every second that he never gave up. An Alpha who will not hesitate to protect the one he loves.
I suffered through the first part of the book with Fulton, rejecting Camel's attempts to protect him, as he's been on his own for so long and it's hard to let go of old ways.
I loved how their relationship progressed and how the relationships between the other characters developed, once things cleared up.
These draw fire and produce heat just by reading them.
I love the cherubs together. Their union is special.
There are turns that you do not see coming and leave you with your mouth open.
That ending was perfect for this epic adventure.
I hope that at some point, the author returns to this world, with the next generation as protagonists.

Kiki Burrelli sure ended this series with a freaking bang!! Envy was the culmination of everything we've been building towards with the previous books and there was never a dull moment to be found. The romance with Fulton and Camel was a long time coming and I was so happy they fought so hard for each other. Even though circumstances prevented them from knowing for certain they were soulmates at first, Camel never doubted Fulton was his. I just loved them.

We get answers to many of the questions that lingered through the books, Jake's pregnancy issues being one of them. And Dante, oh that sparkly purple demon. 💜 I'm sad it seems he won't be getting his own book, but I enjoyed every moment of his page time. He was a favorite of mine from this series. I don't know what the author has planned next after finishing this story arc, but I hope this is not the last we see of this universe created.

I am both excited and sad about this book. I love this world and all the characters and hate to say goodbye. This is a great book and a wonderful ending to this series. I enjoyed Camel and Fulton’s story. It takes you on an emotional ride. There is more to this book than their relationship and we get to see many others from the connecting books. Camel and Fulton are good together and I loved seeing them work together once they finally find a way. It was also great to see everyone else work together with them and fight against evil. This is a fast-paced story that pulls you in and does not let go. The author weaves a wonderful story and mixes the right amount of emotions and action to have you immersed in this world until the very last page.

Yay! We finally got Camel’s story! Camel want’s Fulton in a bad way but he has to wait for his cherub. Fulton is a mystery and I’m not going to say anything more than that! I will say that I totally disliked Fulton until I learned his back story! I think this one had more action than any other the other stories in this series. It was packed with so much danger that it was exhilarating! I love their chemistry and snark!! Seriously loved it!! This one wrapped up pretty much everything so I’m sad it is ending. Overall, a fantastic read! The story was really well written and kept me engaged, the pacing flowed smoothly, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. ARC received from GRR for an honest review.

Camel and Fulton don't have an easy relationship. There's a lot of ups and downs and distrust but there's no denying the attraction. Their chemistry is hot. The story is compelling and had me hooked from page one. Lot's of action going on and characters from previous books are on hand too. I really liked the surprise Camel and Fulton get at the end, when the Demon King is defeated. This author writes good stories and I'm glad I was here for the ride. I think anyone who likes paranormal, fantasy, romance and MM couples will like this book and series. I highly recommend it and the other series by Kiki.

Wrap up to all the series

This is a fairly long novel, but it has to be because it is wrapping up a quite a lot of story. At times this makes it not bog down because it’s always very exciting but it’s a little overwhelming to read. Maybe that’s just me because I love these characters and a lot happens in this book. As overwhelmed as I was at times this book is very well written, makes a lot of sense and wraps things up marvelously. Definitely better read in order as you will not have much idea what is going on otherwise and it’s such a great lot of books you really should read them if you like mm fantasy/shifter/adventure stories.

I liked this book, it was a satisfying end to this series. My only issue was that there were so.many.characters that it got confusing! I get that it was an “all hands on deck” situation but keeping track of who each character was and how they related to the other characters was challenging, especially with the perspective going back and forth between Camel and Fulton as well. I would be going along, tracking what was happening and who was doing what, then a chapter would end and I’d have to figure it out again! Maybe if I had read the Walker and Royal Paynes books it would have been easier?
Anyway, still a compelling, interesting, and action-packed ride to the final conclusion! Recommended!

I randomly picked up a Kiki Burrelli book at the start of quarantine not knowing what an incredible world I'd stepped into. Over the course of the last 4 years, I alternated between reading one of her books or shelving all of one her wolves series as TBR. I'm so glad that I finally had the time to sit down and get through most - if not all - of them this year. It was so cool seeing everything being woven together: Faust's protective dog turning out to be Dominion; Claus' friend (and lovable side character) Dante becoming The Devil and saving everyone; each person AND THEIR CHILDREN having unique abilities!!

The finale was so, SO good. It actually took a while to finish because I kept wanting to restart the book since I loved Fulton and Camel's romance. I remember reading about Riley and Branson in Wolves of Walker County, and Quinlan and Diesel in Wolves of Royal Paynes. It truly felt like a family reunion - seeing old characters I'd loved in other series meet those from Wolves of Resurrection Road.

I'm really tempted to restart the journey (with Riley of course), just so I can fully enjoy each couple's story and spot any hints that Kiki left. There were absolutely NO dead ends - I had so many "NO WAY!" moments when I recalled random information from 4+ (years and) books ago.

You could really tell that this last addition to world was thought-out, and that Kiki cared about the series. Now all I need is physical copies of the 13 books ASAP:)

Another thing: I'm not sure how to explain it, but this book felt like a Cigarettes After Sex song.

Oh my goodness. This series is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. I liked this whole series but not as much as the first two series. Camel and Fulton definitely had their issues to work out before the battle to end all battles. This book and all of the rest of the Wolves of Resurrection Road books really kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s a really good series. I admit…I kinda love Dante. There at the end, he does provide some much needed laughter with his antics. Now I have to go reread the Wolves of Walker County.

This is an intense read and one that’s hard to put down-- I’ll resist saying too much about the plot because 1) it would take too long and 2) you deserve a chance to experience it first hand, especially if you’ve been following the series through previous books. Camel and Fulton fit together beautifully — and are willing to go through a lot for each other. It’s easy to want the best for them, and to get invested in their relationship as much as the events taking place around them.

I take my hat off to an amazing author. To have the imagination to create a world where all kinds of beings become real and jump off the page with their stories. Camel and Fulton's story is a true soul mates who belong together is a bit more complicated. There are so many tense moments, brilliant characters. Love laughs and scary things that more than go bump in the night. I highly recommend this wonderful book and the others in the series. “I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.”

Kiki is an amazing author, I absolutely adore all of her books! This book was the perfect ending to this series but I’m sure it’s far from over! 😀

Camel & Fulton knows theirs something there but they don’t think it’s more than just amazing chemistry at first but the more they are around each other they realize they are soulmates, they just couldn’t feel it at first & it has to do with Fulton’s secret! In the end all the packs & family came together to save humanity including the devil himself! I very much enjoyed the series & I can’t wait to see what’s next!!! 😀😀❤️❤️

Camel and Fulton had a bumpy ride to get their HEA but I was rooting for them all the way.

The events towards the end shocked me - I didn’t see things going down the way they did - totally genius though.

Loads of loose ends were tied up including, Claus and Jake. These two had me worried the most, I was hoping they would come through the challenges they faced.

Think fated mates mixed with any of the mission impossible films. It was a very engaging storyline. Camel is quite cute in a growly way and Fulton is that person who will also seek to protect, even if it makes those around him doubt him. Some very interesting characters, enough to make me want to go to the beginning of the series. Absolutely LOVE Dante. Good read.

Envy is Book 4 in the series. It can be read as a standalone but better to be read in order.
The book is full of twists and turns, action packed, drama, you won’t want to put it down. Wolf shifters, demons, it’s got the lot.
I really loved Camal and Fulton and found myself routing for them. Their story definitely wasn’t easy going but so worth it.
This was a book that kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. Absolutely gripped.
An action filled read that I Highly recommend reading.

Never disappointed in this or any other works by this author. Camel and Fulton met circumstance head on. Some things you saw coming. Others were a welcomed suspenseful surprise.
The battles were met with the fierceness that leaps off the pages and pulls you in. A fated mate pairing worthy of your time.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but this ride was one worth taking. Highly recommended!

GREAT series ending! But sad to leave these couples. The journey is absolutely worth it. My mind and heart, can finally settle down and take a satisfying deep breath. amazing ending to a series

I’m going to assume this is the last in the Wolves of World. The entire series, from Walker County to this point has been a ride. I loved all of the characters and it will be difficult to say goodbye to them all! I am so happy Dante had a bigger role in this part of the series!
