Micah Kennedy has lived with PTSD for years. He is an expert at hiding his struggles behind the quick wit and snark that is very much a part of his makeup. His need to keep a promise to a dying comrade feeds his nightmares and invades his dreams—until that promise brings him military K-9 Delta.

Hawk McKinnon has spent most of his life kicking trouble’s ass in every hotspot around the globe. Now his sniper hasn’t returned from a CIA sanctioned mission in Pakistan and all bets are off. When Hawk comes calling looking for help, Micah doesn’t hesitate and jumps at the chance to repay a debt. A mission that will set him on a path to the one thing he never knew he was looking for: love!

Creed Erikson cursed the betrayal that caused his capture and vowed vengeance on those responsible. He knew Hawk was coming for him—he never doubted it for a second—but Micah Kennedy and Delta? They threw him for a loop.

Can Micah embrace his destiny, believe in the strengths of the bond of the triad that the fates have created or will he refuse to believe that he too deserves a happily ever after?

Micah's Promise is part of the Delta Force - Team Panther Series. While it can be read as a standalone... to ensure maximum enjoyment, it is best read in series order.

Annabella Stone and Bella Stone are the alter egos of a wife and mom, who was lucky enough to find happy ever after with her own personal hero.

Annabella loves to write Military Romance and Romantic Suspense where warriors love harder when bullets fly. She believes in love at first sight and wants everyone to have the happy ever they deserve. Even if they have to dodge bullets and fight with everything that they are to get it.

Born and raised in Ireland, Annabella has a Grá for a good story and the breakfast blaa, but funnily enough, prefers Jack Daniels to Irish whiskey. Having lived across 7 countries and 3 continents over the last thirty years, she loves to explore new places and cultures. In her world, coffee is king, and she is 100% sure it deserves it's own food group.

Annabella is owned by a pack of malamutes, whom she loves to both work and show. If you can't find her at the computer writing, chances are she and her woofers have escaped to enjoy at day at a dog show, or they are on a mountain trail with the dryland rig or the sled, depending on the time of year.

Annabella's motto is "Live life like a malamute who found the gate open, but take the time to enjoy the sights while you're running."

Same problems. I'm learning to ignore exclamation points. The dialogue kills me. But it's the head hopping that makes me want to throw my kindle across the room. I feel like, while these books poke at important things (mental health, ptsd, anxiety, etc), it seems to solve all the issues with touch and/or sex, which... er... doesn't sit well with me. I have finally figured out what this series reminds me of, though. It's basically a gay military soap opera. If you go into it knowing the technical issues and accepting that it's daytime television on paper, it's not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Another great book in this series. Each book just gets better and better as another little piece to the puzzle is revealed. And with each book I cannot wait for the next book to come out. This book left me wanting the next book to come out as soon as possible.

Delta Force and Team Panther are back again but this time it is Team Panther’s Team member Micah’s story. Poor Micah has PTSD and is not doing well with it. He knows hat some of the nightmares are coming back to him because he is in the process of trying to get Delta, his former team member that passed away, service dog released to him from service. It has not been an easy process but Micah knows that he cannot leave Delta and he will not give up until he has him. After a lot of patience, Micah has finally been able to get Delta released to him and both he and his girls are now able to start working together.

When someone Micah knows from his past seeks gim out for help, Micah cannot turn down Hawk. Especially when he finds out that the mission that Hawk is going on is to save Hawk’s love big term boyfriend Creed. What Micah does not expect is for Hawk to make some offhandedly comments along the way about the three of them hooking up once they rescue Creed.

Micah never expected that to happen but the idea is definitely appealing to him. So when it does happen and feelings start to get involved between the three of them, Micah is cautious but optimistic as well.

While on their mission to save Creed, some new information that goes back to Micah’s team mates emerges as well and now no one is safe until they figure out exactly what is going on. Along the way, other things are revealed and questions are answered and more questions come to light and danger is never far from any of these men. Can Team Panther and Delta Forces figure out who is good and who is not before one of their inner circle ends up dead?

This was another amazing read in this series. Each book has kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole read. I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on the next book as soon as it is available. Annabelle Stone has done an amazing job on this series.

Living with PTSD and trying to hide the aftermath from his loved ones, Micah uses the strength and bond with his retired military dog, Delta, to get by. But being sent on a mission to retrieve a captured comrade leads Micah to figure out that he can also rely on others. But will Creed and Hawk open up their relationship and add Micah as a third? Can Micah accept being part of a triad and allow them into his life and his heart? With beautifully written characters and an emotional but heart warming storyline, once again Annabella Stone pulls the reader into the lives of these alpha men and honestly I do not want to ever leave them. Brutally honest and filled with angst and trepidation, this book is a must read.

Book 4 in the series I have to say is my favorite. That said the writing style takes some getting used to but by now I know to expect it. These three guys made an interesting storyline and I do hope we get to see more of them. Its a HFN but a very satisfying read. 4.5 stars. Rounded up to 5 stars because the series as a whole is worth reading.

If you love suspense, fast pace, military ops but need a little strainer romance this is a great find!

Delta Force Team Panther Books 1 to 7, by Author: Annabella Stone

Jonah's Compass, Tied Up In Steele, Malik's Redemption, Micah's Promise, Christmas Panther Style, Grif's Salvation and Jason's Justice.

I was addicted Book 1 to 7 I couldn't put it down. It has Special Ops Military action the non stop rescue at the risk of their own lives and their families. Then add in in Military Operations telling the good guys from the bad is extremely difficult. Not to mention its all based on intel which is another challenge good vs bad. Its amazing any if these missions are ever successful. This gives a new respect 🙌 for Mitary & Mercenaries Heros that risk it all to defend & rescue.
With 7 books I just can't do each book Justice so extremely brief comment on a few. Terrific written extremely well

Book 1 Jonah & Matt, you have to read even if you skip the rest. The Don't as Don't Tell nightmare it put on LGBT Military is horrific.
Book 2 Steele to have Alphabet Soup (CIA, FBI, Ghost, Delta & more) and the connections to reach them impressive. More so is the one tha captures his heart.
Book 3 Malik & Zeke, To die to protect the ones you love the upmost sacrifice. Risk it all for love?
Book 4 Micah intro to Triad to build his family. Hawk, Creed & Delta K9 assist with Micahs PTSD.
Book 5 Allie the Pilot on Ghost Crew has her child Lexi is endangered & Pathers find out a huge Betrayl.
Book 6 Grif, Rock and Allie another Triad in ghis team. After Book 5 this Family holds some surprise. Life & death assist with living.
Book 7 Jason this is one of my favorite- i reread it twice. High walls but Major Fritz stays strong & being taken brings the walls down.
This series is a keeper, one you can reread over & over.V3 knidnap. Torture, sold out +, S3 mature Gay romance & Triad

Mauvais.

"Men like them might be willing to do anything for their country, but they would do everything for each other."

oh how this one was such sweet surprise.
The jokester finally found his people.
Micah, Creed & Hawk put the O in orgasm cause seriously these three were 🔥

This picks up right where book 3 left off and it is like all the others packed full of the same intense problems that this team faces but again something happens and nothing goes like it should except these three finding each other.
Finally we get the backstory on Delta and how she came to be with Micah, although heartbreaking it was almost like she was waiting for him. I got the eye sting when she finally started coming around.
The layers to Micah surprised me the most, yeah he's the humor and the tension breaker of of the Panthers but it hides a lot and that takes it's toll on him but he hides it deep. His reasoning behind Delta was a hit to the chest because these men live by a code and it's never broken. He wasn't about to break a promise.
Now Hawk & Creed, phew lord these two! The amount of times they made a Micah sandwich just to ground him had me swooning so hard cause aww. These military men once they find their person they latch on and never let go. This is what Micah needed but he never knew it.

Now, the spice with these three is off the charts and yeah they are intense but it is in the best of ways.
I cannot wait to get more into this series and see where it will lead because the plot always gets thicker and thicker with more bad guys to hunt down.

It’s hard to keep up with all the twists and turns of the overlying arc in this series. It is so well thought out and we are slowly drip fed more and more of this highly addictive tale. This time it is an MMM romance between Micah, Hawk and Creed. Their triad was beautifully written. I do hope this is not the last book in this series. Everything has not reached a final conclusion. It would be nice to read about Jason, and about the the other triad of Rock, Grif and Shar. Hopefully more characters can be added. Well done Annabella I look forward to more of your books.

There’s no amount of words that can describe how much I loved Micah’s Promise
First, I was really doubting we were getting a triad and when it first happened I was SHOOK
I started jumping around like a little kid, holy mama this book was fire, I loved seeing the dynamics and everything, and how it worked so well. It blew my expectations and it became my favorite book from the series!
I also loved how the plot is developed, always giving us the unexpected
I need more of them, Micah, Hawk and Creed are just perfection, no words can describe my love for them

These three were awesome.

Playing the troup card here was nice. I enjoyed how each of their lives intermingled with others that weren't apart of their squad. The trouble they find themselves in and how they would get out of it. They seem to be constantly having to look over their shoulder for the bad guy. I think they get into more trouble now then when they were in the military.

Gosh, hot and steamy off the charts moving relationship, three guys and boy when they fall and claim each other it sticks. But in between the three guys and a dog bonding there are rescues, suspense, excitement and action, from various countries and with teams joining forces to continue to unravel just who is betraying them. Gripping and thrilling read from beginning to end, oh and I love Delta, so glad Micah got her safe.

Non stop action

Micah meets his future in Hawk and Creed. Former special forces associates who they had worked with in the past. Still trying to find the connections associated with all the problems the Panthers are having. Micah deals with this new relationship . Matt and Jonah find more distressing news in connection with Sarah
And Jonahs former handler with the NSA.

NTM author. Recommended as storyline has K9. Just not feeling it. DNF at 64%. The writing style (at least 2 if not more POVs on every page) was too difficult to get used too. Lots of dialogue (not my preference) and the sexy times weren’t hitting the spice factor I like.

Note to self.. starting off book 4 in a series is tough when so many characters are thrown in.

Pretty confusing at times and a little too much sex.

I would recommend this book to people who like military romances, who don't mind a lot of graphic sex and who aren't homophobic.
