Oh Joel. You hot piece of pack meat!! We met Joel and knew he was part of the alpha, Peter’s, inner circle. He was always off doing pack business but also being a protector to pack members. When he comes home and hears Lea singing, he knew she was his. Knowing she was a survivor of the horrors the women had gone through but the pack saved, he was ready to be patient and kind to win her over.
Lea was a mess of fear when her body came alive when she saw Joel. Fear kept her away and fear made her push him but mainly fear of what could happen if her past before the kidnapping was found out. Lea was outted by her friend about her fear which tears Joel apart. I felt so bad for the wonderful pack member. But her rejection is just too much for the soft hearted were.
When Joel and Lea start to make some head way to see why the fates mated them together, her past comes tumbling out in a big and terrible way. I loved seeing Lea form a backbone and fight for what she wanted. I loved seeing Joel realize she was stronger than he imagined. Their love story was such a great read.
Guys, I loved Peter and Joel in their books but I think Xander is going to steal my heart. He is too funny and grumpy that I am head over heals for this were. I am beyond excited for Adira’s book and the mysterious man who has her allllllll messed up!!!

Another exciting adventure in this series! Lea is trying to heal from her painful past and make a new life. Joel is happy with just helping the pack. Neither one is looking for their mate but one night at a party they find each other. The push and pull between them might lead to happiness but it might also lead to deadly consequences. I am looking forward to reading more in this series!

Lea Black was rescued and taken in by the Alumbra Pack after spending years in captivity within the Sivella Pack. Lea is working hard trying to move past her time with the Sivella Pack, but she is still hiding one huge secret from her friends. One, in which, could be a life changer! She never thought she would find her mate, that is until the night of the pack party. Joel has made an appearance and the bond that links mates started immediately. She wants nothing to do with it – Joel wants to protect her and ease her fears.
Joel also thought he would never find his mate, until he saw Lea on that fateful night. His wolf is ready to claim her and be claimed in return. However, with her past he is going to have to dig deep for patience, time and give her plenty of space.
The push and pull between these two was off the charts! Lea was more on pushing Joel away and he was busy trying to pull her to him. With that being said Lea is doing more harm than good by pushing Joel away – the mate link is being tested and if she continues to push him away – well let’s just say that could be deadly.
Push does come to shove, past and present collide, fears come to light, and through it all Joel stands by her side ready to help her face it all! (As a mate should!) She now has a second chance at love and life. Will she allow Joel to be a part of it? Or more importantly will her wolf even let her turn Joel away.

I loved this book as much as I did Rebel. Peter had my heart beating double time but Joel had me swooning. I cannot wait for all these wolves to find their true mate. Joel gives Lea the time she needs which could possibly end up killing them both.
Joel works for Peter on projects that take him out of town for long periods of time. When he returns the night of the party, he knows Lea is his when he hears her singing and sees her. Lea sees her true mate, Joel, but she is scared her past will sneak up on her. While trying to push her true mate away she unknowing could harm both of them.
One of Joel’s assignments ends up bringing Lea’s past right to their door. I love that Lea does not back down and run but shows the strength inside her. She is such a strong werewolf and she lets it out to take what is hers.
These two go through so much and have to learn to trust one another. I love how this pack works well together. They all make up a great team when they are put in situations. They are resourceful always finding a way to pull together and come out on top. I am in love with this entire pack and cannot wait to see where this story goes and who everyone’s mate is. I am especially excited to see who Xander or even Alton’s mate will be but it looks like Adira is next up in the mate department. She is going to be another strong female heroine and I cannot wait to hear her story.

Lea has had a rough life but after being rescued by the Alumbra Pack she is determined to overcome and heal from her past. Joel never imagined finding his mate but seeing Lea he instantly knows he's found his true mate. I loved Lea and Joel for each other and the push and pull between them had me cheering them on to get their happy ever after. Bold is book two and a great addition to the Alumbra Pack series. I look forward to reading the rest of this series.

Bold is about Joel and Lea. Lea, has been through the ringer and just as life is looking up she almost tears it down. When Lea's past shows up literally on her door step, she prays that her "true mate" Joel will still want her as badly as she wants him. This is a story about how love can conquer all. Good storyline and world building.
