Aria White is known as the most skilled assassin in the underground world. Her father is known for being one of the top five most powerful illegal bosses.
Ace De Luca on the other hand is a whole different game. He is ruthless, controlling, and almost as lethal as fire. He likes to play games with people before he breaks them into the palm of his hand.
Both Ace and Aria cross paths unexpectedly but when a flame lits between them, will they both get burned?
Writing beautifully flawed characters with every word, Jaclin Marie shows how the morally gray isn’t the villain in every story.
She’s always loved seeing the good in everyone, even the awful characters that society frowns upon.Writing her own stories makes the her readers love the flawed parts of her characters.
She started writing when she was 16 during Covid. She found comfort in the stories she would read from her favorite authors and one day she decided to write her own story.
Ever since she has been publishing and writing books left and right. Creating beautiful and unique stories is her passion. She can’t see herself ever stopping.
this was a wattpad book but printed out and i never knew that and i hate myself for thinking this would be an actual good book. the grammar mistakes, the “smut” scenes, the fact that ace literally abused aria but she just breezed passed it because she fell in love with him, the fact that aria was always like “you can’t order me around like a dog ace” but continued to do everything he asked her to do, the fact that the only emotion she knew was rolling her eyes to the point where i just wanted to tape her eyes shut and she’d baso become a mummy with no expression, the part where aria was “so traumatised” by dante but litch fell in love with her other abuser even though he only strangled her once 🥺🥺🥺 (like ew), and to end it all, the stupid fucking “it was all a mf dream” ending like were five fucking years old. i want to punt anyone who thinks that that book is actually worth reading… like ew.

4.5 ⭐️ holy fuck! the ending wow. it’s left me speechless, I love how this book is written. I don’t even know what to say I’m speechless! definitely should read this book! I have annotated the fuck out of it.
such a addicting mafia read! i absolutely adored the banter with ace and aria from the very start, and the whole enemies to lovers + forced captivity was so so good together. there was just so much tension from the very start, and the way ace slowly opened up to aria and vice verse was just so so sweet to read. their love was just so strong and the scenes with Thalia too made my heart so so happy.
and the ending?? such a cliffhanger oh my gosh! can't wait to read the next one to see what happens in their story because i need to know asap
One of the first books I’ve read on Wattpad. I really liked it, but I feel that the ending was not very realistic. A whole book shouldn’t be based off of a dream that magically came true. It didn’t add up because if she really dreamt of the future, why didn’t she stop Ace’s mother from getting killed? Anyway, other than that I liked it. I just felt it was too far fetched.

This book was incredibly quick. There was more plot than there was romance which made me a tad bit sad because I wish we could’ve dug deeper into the connection between Ace and Aria.
In the beginning it was quick and harsh anger. Then randomly one day Ace decided he wanted Aria. There were some cute moments like falling asleep together and watching Lady and The Tramp, but overall they fell super fast and super hard and we didn’t get to see much of it.
I obviously love me some Mafia romances so I definitely enjoyed the aspect of Ace being Capo and Aria being the most skilled assassin. I also really loved that there were huge families on both ends so it gave you a bit more fluffyness into the story. Overall I give it a 4/5 and the only reason why it wasn’t a 5/5 was because I would’ve wanted to come along the entire journey of Ace and Arias growing love for each other. Not just jump into it.
I read her recent books before this one, and if you think that her writing stile is any kind of childish you shouldn’t just pass this book or not finish it by the end of the book her writing absolutely improves, and her recent books give you a more mature stile of writing so even if you didn’t like this book don’t pass her, give her a chance because Jaclyn is a really amazing growing author. She has amazing ideas and this book is really interesting to read, it has a really good plot twist which you wouldn’t in any way expect. I do advise you to read trigger warnings before reading this book.
I had gotten a ARC copy of Ace de Luca and let me just say it’s a breathtaking book. absolutely love it. This book means so very much to me. This book has helped me through such hard times and made me so happy. I love the relationships between everyone in this book. this book made me crave to be apart of this world so I could be around all these amazing people. This stories ending has definitely improved and made me so excited for the next book.
Jaclin is an amazing author and i can not wait to read more by her in the future. definitely recommend one thousand percent!!! I wish i could rate more than five stars
I am so incredibly proud of Jaclin. I read this book on wattpad and fell so deeply in love with it and now it’s became a book that’s incredible!!!
I can Already tell that she is going to do amazing in the future. New favourite book definitely!!!!
↠first of all, lemma start by saying how proud i am of jaclin. i watched her grow on wattpad, and now she's publishing a book? it feels surreal honestly.
↠we all love a good hostage romance don't we? and with a sexy, italian mafia man? sign. me. fucking. up
↠ace de luca follows aria, who's kidnapped by ace, and lands up in italy. we see ace and aria's enemity blossom into friendship, and then turn into love. but with a massive plot twist.
↠definitely amazing for a wattpad book, but this does need a little more editing and fine tuning. but still breath-taking and gripping.

Found this book on Wattpad, read the first 3 chapters, and was instantly hooked. Such an amazing story line. Who doesn’t love a good badass main character who knows how to handle herself? Or does she? Can’t wait to read Aria de Luca!
UGHHHH SO SO SO SO GOOD I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS A NEW BOOK OR A SERIES NOW I HAVE TO FUCKING WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOOK IM SO PISSED THE ENDING HAD ME GAGGED UGHHHH SUCK A GOOD BOOK I LOVED IT SM MADE ME GIGGLE AND BLUSH I NEED THE SECOND ONE NEOWWWWW
⤷‧₊˚3⭑ “Ace is intimidating. Not only does he look like a Greek god, but he has this powerful aura around him. If I weren’t Aria White, the American Mafia’s best assassin I would be afraid of him and just feel shy around him.”
i saw so many people saying great things about this book. but i’m not a fan of it first of all the pacing was odd and the characters were boring also i didn't like the writing style. i tried to get used to it, but i never did. i mean at least the cover is pretty.
He leans down and kisses my lips and I kiss back. "Ti amo." "And I love you Ace."
I’m all honesty, yes there’s were good parts where I may have blushed, smiled, laughed or maybe even kick my feet in the air like a little girl.
But…..this was first an original wattpad book and should’ve stayed that way.
Note to the author, I ain’t no expert but EDIT BEFORE PUBLISHING.
I found so many mistakes that could’ve been chnaged and corrected before being published, how do you think professionals do it? Do you think that once they’ve written it that they publish the minute they finish? No, they check for mistakes before doing so.
On the other hand, again there were parts that were worth the read, plus the plot twist.
Oh My God. I have read so many romance books to the point where I can't remember a lot of them but Ace de Luca had me on my seat the whole entire time. I have shed so many tears not only over this book but, in general, over this whole book series. Omg where to start, seeing these two people come together and create a family had made me so happy but, seeing it as an illusion completely broke me. And to think they were supposed to be enemies and hate each other. For Aria White, the plan was simple, sneak into an Italian warehouse and get kidnapped by the men in order to find out more about them and return information to her family back in America. Being the best assassin in the industry, tis job should have been easy right? no. Ace de Luca future don to the Italian Mafia and the son to a complete A-hole, had to step in and ruin the whole mission. It all started when she was kidnapped, from there it was controlling flirty relationship and a strong passion and bond between Aria and Ace. Oh, lets also not forget about Aria's crazy ex-boyfriend who let me tell you, is not who he said he was. Between this and Aria still trying to find information for her father this plan is jeopardized by this love she is feeling for her kidnapper. This book was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and there were many scenes where I needed to close the book and take a breath because it was too much for me to handle. I think I read almost 400 pages in 2 days...... yeah, it's my favorite book. And the ending was spectacular and made me want to burn the book. Jaclin did very good with this book and I can't wait to see her other collections top come.

I won’t lie but I was a bit disappointed in this book, I saw so many good tiktoks about it and people were hyping it up so much. I enjoyed the plot and I absolutely loved every single character, but everything is just so rushed and I wasn’t a big fan of the writing. I was very confused on some scenes as the grammar wasn’t right :( I’m very surprised in myself aswell as I love love mafia books and they’re always a 5/5 ⭐️ but this book just didn’t give that 10/10 vibe :( This book was one of those quick read books where u just wanna get it over and done with. I wish the author spent a bit more time maybe editing the book or making it a bit longer. No hate on the author! But I really expected something more, I am excited to read Aria De Luca however as the ending had me absolutely flabbergasted. I’d recommend this book if u want something light and something quick. I loved both Ace and Aria, loved their relationship but it all felt rushed. I don’t regret reading it tho, I enjoyed the plot even tho it felt a bit rushed and I loved loved ever Winford character. Especially val, that guy is absolutely hilarious 😭 love Emma and Leo aswell 🫶🏻 they’re so cute and i just love Ace Omd. I’d love more spicy scenes between them but oh well, the spicy sceneee that we got were defo hot and ugh I just love them together. Ari is an absolute bad ass and I can’t wait to see more of her in the second book <3 3.5/5 ⭐️
i really enjoyed this book and it has been one of my favorites for a while. i really loved the writing and it really gave me a. nance to fall in love with this book. the ending really shocked me but it was such a good ending to ace de luca that i automatically had to read aria de luca. i love how all of her books have been written to cross into every one of her stories. such beautiful writing and the spice isn’t cringey as like some other spicy mafia books. it’s not too fast and not too slow. it was absolutely perfect.

1) this book 100% is written by some 12 year old on wattpad 🙅♀️ 2) I’m pretty sure the people in the ‘mafia’ aren’t called the “Italians”, the “Mexicans” and the “Americans” 🗺️ 3) I’m like 90% sure all the people in ‘mafia’ gang things aren’t meeting up every year to have a ball and give out awards for who the best hacker is and who the best assassin is👩💻👩💻 4)WHERE THE HELL DID THE PREGNANCY TROPE COME FROM????? I was not told about that or had read anything about that when buying this book❌❌❌❌ 5) why in chapter 38 is Aria saying that she’s not even got a bump, then in chapter 39 she’s having a gender reveal, then in the chapter after she’s having her baby????🤰🤰 6)what happened in the end with the waking up and realising it’s not real is something I would write in my jotter in primary school.📖 7) there was so many grammar mistakes 😭 8) if you think the writing is bad at the start IT DOES NOT GET BETTER✍️✍️✍️❌❌❌ 9) they weren’t enemies for that long and they kissed at like just after 100 pages 😭 10) I was not getting mafia from this book it’s like high school gangsters that think everyone’s is scared of them💀

I’m really happy for this author that she was able to publish such a wonderful book this book really deserve the 5 stars and I really hope her other books also get a chance to get published because I have read all of this series and the second book was a 4.5 and the last one being a 5 stars so her books are really good and I think you will enjoy it if your into dark romance mafia and there is a little spice I’ll probably give the spice a 🌶🌶🌶.5/5 stars.I really recommend this book If your trying ti support small authors that are trying to grow ..
Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐ Spice: .5 I enjoyed this book! I loved both Aria and Ace! Although I really did want to punch Ace in the face a few times. I was like dude come on. No need to be so damn rude and grumpy but alright. Although he is in the mafia and he is the capo so I get it. But still. I loved Aria. I mean she is a badass. I also liked how she didn't let Ace scare her. Although I feel like it did move a little too fast. Like I sort of lost track on how much time had past but that was the only thing I didn't like the rest I was good with.
Ok, I first read this, and the rest of Jaclin’s books on wattpad and fell in love instantly, so I was so excited when she announced the publishing. And, well, I was not disappointed.
It was so much better than I expected. The writing, the storyline, the plot twist, everything!
I loved it so much and I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be published so I can read about the rest of the De Luca family!
Feelings: loved every second of it, aria is my favorite fucking person.
Opinions: aria and ace’s first kiss had me smiling so hard. There relationship is everything. The freaking ending caught me so off guard I was left without words.
Favorite quote: "You know I kind of like this position," he smirks while staring down at me. "Wish it was under different circumstances."- Ace
The premise is good and the only reason I'm finishing the series. I have an issue with finding out how things end.
Other than that, the writing felt like it was written by someone who haven't learned complicated sentence structures. All of it besides the ending was predictable. The characters were inconsistent and some scenes just doesn't make sense.
