I never imagined falling for a Red Ridge Sinner… let alone three.

But here I am, sneaking around with Diesel, Zach, and Jax, willing to risk the consequences for just one more kiss or touch or moment.

They get me. Understand what I need, and how to make me soar. But every time we find ourselves in the dark, stealing precious minutes together, reality closes in around us.

One of them is broken.
One wants to do the right thing.
And one of them refuses to admit what I already know.

I’m willing to fight for them…

All of them.

Even if it goes against everyone’s expectations of me. Even if it upsets the people I love.

Even if it makes me a target for our enemies.

REAP is a full length dark enemies-to-lovers/bully romance. This is a why choose novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. It is book two in the series.

I couldn't wait to get more of River, Jax, Diesel and Zach. This group gives me ALL THE FEELS!! I felt it all while reading this book! These authors have done it once again!! Reap picks up right where Ruin ended. So intense!
Everyone's emotions are set to high - with Rhett leading the charge. He still refuses to believe that his precious sister has grown up! She refuses to allow him to put her back in the cage. She has had a taste of freedom and it's everything she never knew she needed.

River and the guys are still trying to find the right balance. Zach and D are trying to help Jax anyway they can. They all know that his past must have been brutal since his walls are made of steel, but they refuse to give up on him. Who knew that badass bikers could be so caring and selfless. Lifting up and coaching a brother. There were some super touching and beautifully heartbreaking moments this time around. It made it all so much sweeter. Made me fall even harder for them all. Although, I think Jax has the top spot for me. Diesel is the sensible one and Zach is the alpha (at the moment) - I can see that changing real quick.

Umm, I need book 3 now please! That cliffhanger got me. I need to know what happens!!

This book starts off right where book one left us. With a bang. Quite literally. Rhett and his overprotective ass are at it again!

Whereas Ruin gave us intro's to everyone and laid the floor work for what's to come for the series, Reap gave us more backstory about our MC's, especially the men. We find out a bit more about what Zach has done and why he's in hiding. We see more of the trauma Jax has dealt with and why he's not letting himself get closer to River. I personally think we're still going to see more of something particular with Diesel, it just hasn't happened yet. But I can just feel something there. Something that will come to light.

My favorite part of the book has to be the male bonding. While I love when reverse harems start right off the bat where the guys are already super close or like family, or are family. lol. I think it's also refreshing when the guys aren't as close but get close in the midst of being with their woman and we get to see their friendship growth and bond. So it was really great to see Zach helping Jax with his issues and honestly being the comedic relief a lot. And that while Zach still puts up a front about not wanting to be there, he's putting down roots without even realizing it.

I find that the actual 'motorcycle club' business is typically the same for the most part with this kind of trope. But that's to be expected. I think what makes me love this series so much is the characters. They really stand out to me. Also the quality and quantity of spice in this series is so on point for me with it being a reverse harem. RH's that have like 5 spicy scenes total just do not make sense to me.

But Caitlyn Dare definitely does it incredibly well! I highly recommend this series and this author!!

This book revolved around the developing relationship among Zach, Diesel, and Jax with River and a bit of background on Zach's and Jax's pasts within the Red Ridge MC backdrop. It was always fun to read best friend Kay's antics with River and other RH relationship, Rhett, Dane, West, Sadie.

While I found the story entertaining, I missed the usual action I've come to expect from the series. At times it was very introspective and recounting of everyday circumstance. I liked a lot of the character growth -- River, Jax, and Diesel -- more personal acceptance, though Zach went from broody to extremely, and in my view uncharacteristically chatty, pushing him to being more a nice guy than the recalcitrant type I had loved. Understandably the guys were forging their unconventional relationship, but I preferred the more measured bad boy.

Pace was rather progressive. The steam, unsurprisingly, was nothing less than hot. Of course, that cliffhanger has me eagerly anticipating the next book. Overall, good read.

Spicy MC Book!!

Reap starts off right where Ruin ended and I could not wait for this book to come out. I just love this series and Reap was such a great addition to it. This series has been sizzling and this book is no different. It is more than just the spice because the interaction between Zach, Jax, Diesel and River, it’s the bond they are forming. River has to deal with each man each with their own unique issues. On the outside River is the shy girl but get her with her boys…let’s just say she is fierce and knows what she wants.

This book was hot as he!!! Be prepared because Ms. Dare does it again and leaves us with a killer cliffhanger. That makes for a really good book because I cannot wait for the next addiction to the Red Ridge Sinners MC!!

Reap by Caitlyn Dare is dark reverse harem MC romance with some amazing alpha antiheroes and a sassy girl finding out about her dark fierce side. It was sinful. It was action packed. It was also emotionally intense.

So my first mistake was signing up for the book without checking that it's part of a series. The entry in Goodreads didn't specify. So basically it's second book in a series. The first book is Ruin and must be read first else you will be lost like me half the time. But that was my fault. This ends in a cliffhanger and I am not sure how many books will be there in the series.

River Savage's brother has tried to keep her away from the brutal life of Red Ridge Sinners MC. But she is far from the sweet and innocent girl. She is in a complex situation with three biker men. Jax with his secrets and emotional baggage that stops him from being close to River. Her best Friend's brother Diesel who wants to look at her like she is his sister but he cannot resist the forbidden fruit. And then Zach. The runaway from Colton Night Crawlers who claims her roughly but cannot handle the emotions.

This story is definitely hardcore steamy that you can expect from a dark reverse harem. But I liked the various dimensions in the characters. The intimate scenes were like therapy for Jax and his broken twisted heart filled with guilt, shame and anger. This story shows the maximum growth and evolution in Jax. Diesel tried to stay away but failed miserably. He is such an overbearing over protective alpha hero. Zach is something else. He is inappropriate and drop dead gorgeous and volatile. Sex is like a game for him but River changed it slowly. Now he is the most psychotic with a dark sense of humor. He is running from his old life but his enemies will bring death and destruction. River has become this confident and sassy version in this story and I love how her attitude can turn from sweet to spicy fast. Together they are a magnetic group. Their emotional bond is definitely special. And I want to see how the drama and danger make it difficult for them.

As soon as i reached the end of Ruin, I instantly started looking forward to more! I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next in this story. I picked up this second installment as soon as i could and got right back into the Red Ridge Sinners MC world. I enjoyed it!

River and her men’s journey continues! I wasn’t sure what all was going to happen this time around with this second book and i really liked how that got me into it even more. I really enjoyed getting more of these characters and getting to dig deeper. Once again, RIver, Jax, Diesel, and Zach had me feeling so many things throughout.

With Reap, Ms.Dare has created such a good read that grabbed my attention quickly! I am so looking forward to getting more of this story in the third installment, Rule!

It's been a little more than a year since I started this one and at this point I don't think it is happening anymore.

Now, let me tell you: I adore Caitlyn Dare. I absolutely freaking love her Savage Sinners MC series so much that I bought myself the physical books after reading the ebooks. I can TOTALLY recommend that series. As for the Red Ridge Sinners MC series... this one was good, too, but I noticed that my heart was still with Sadie, Savage, Dane and Wes the entire time I was reading this series and I simply couldn't let go and let myself get totally invested in this new story.

I will most likely go and reread the Savage Fall Sinners at some point, but I don't think this story can be topped with how much I love Sadie and the guys, so I am really sad to DNF this book now, but I don't think with a reading break as long as this one it is going to happen...😔

Freaking He!! this duo really knows how to hit you right where it hurts with their cliffhangers!! I am absolutely loving River she really shines bright in this story and has come out of her shell to say the least she is freaking done letting everyone try and control her especially her freaking brother Rhett *swoon* I still love that man! Jax, Diesel and Zach OMG they are hot and sexy AF and they are perfect for River. They have this relationship that just works so well for them all and there is no doubt in my mind that these three guys know River is theirs and they are not letting her go. This book will have your attention from beginning to end and have you thinking about it days later!! Cannot wait for the next one!!

We're back for more craziness, heat and heart courtesy of our girl River and her Harem of good bad boys, and well.. one bad bad boy. Lmao

This picks up right where the cliffhanger of the first book left off with Rhett being and overbearing protective brother, and nearly losing River in the process. Secrets come to light, especially what happened to River when she was away at school, and just how Zach saved her. Emotions run so high here, and I felt so bad for judging Jax in the last book, because what we learned here just broke my heart. I am so glad he got the first 'I love you' because goddammit does that man need all the love he can get. Plus the bromance that's forming between him, Zach and Diseal just had me cracking up so much! I love how for as unfeeling as Zach claims to be, he's the first one to help Jax with all he needs. I can't wait to see that develop even more in the last book.

And talk about a crazy cliffhanger!!! Omg, you CAN'T end a book like that!!! I need all the answers NOW!!! I'm gonna go crazy with all the theories until the last book is in my hands!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Yall can't end a book like that and expect me to be on until we get the third book. I've been victimized by another CD cliffhanger 😳🙃

What a cliffhanger!

I’m so excited and nervous for the third and final book. Reading River, Zach, Diesel and Jax has been great. I kind of wish we had some flashbacks to Jax’s trauma and when Zach saved River. But other than that, the character growth has been really strong.

I love the way River stands up for herself and puts her brother in his place. It’s so refreshing to read her compared to Sadie.

I can’t wait to see what happens.

Are you freaking kidding me with that ending?!?! Holy mother of god I think this is the worst cliffhanger these two have tortured us with before. I can’t believe we have to wait to find out what happens next!

This book was so good. Seriously amazing! It sucked me in & I couldn’t put it down until I had read the entire thing. I loved getting to know all of the guys better. My heart broke for Jax & all the demons he has to deal with everyday. I love the bond that the three guys have, it’s so different & special. Plus this book is way sexier, dirtier & hotter than the first book. I need more of these four because I think they are beating out Sadie & her guys!

Is it wrong that all 5 stars are for Zach?

It’s hard to talk about why I liked this one so much without spoilers, but it’s interesting to see how 3 men who think they aren’t good enough for River come together to give her everything she needs.

Caitlyn, you have done it again. I thought I loved Sadie & her boys, but it’s proving difficult to not love River & hers even more. I am HOOKED. I got a lot more spice in this second book & a lot more understanding of certain things, lots of questions started being answered.

River is pretty bada** & I loved the side I saw of her in this book, I love how she’s truly growing into her character. Diesel, Zach & Jax have also really become quite the trio!! I can’t decide who I like more, goofy Zach, damaged Jax or confident Diesel…. I truly love each of them for so many reasons.

can’t wait to see what happens next especially with THAT cliffhanger!!!!

Thank you Caitlyn Dare & Wildfire Marketing Solutions!!

Reap continued right off from the major cliffhanger in Ruin, by starting with a BANG! Which wasn’t surprising considering what had gone down at the end of the first book.

With Ruin having already set the basis of the story surrounding the start of River and her relationships with Jax, Diesel and Zach.
When it came to the narrative of Reap it allowed us to jump right back in, but this time focusing on giving us more detail with a further in-depth exploration into not only the characters lives. Especially Jax and Zach, considering they were still enigmas with not much known about them and their backstory.
The exploring of MC clubs, since the mention of newer ones surfaced. As well as a further look into how River and her individual relationships with Jax, Diesel and Zach was moving along. As well as together, considering the amount times of when certain events that took place led them to all being together. All of which paved the way to fire alarms going off Super Freakin’ STEAMY SPICE!
Let it be known this book was hella steamy, which was unexpected to me given the amount. The way it went from 1-100 in the blink of an eye every time…just DAMN! River and her guys definitely gave Sadie and her guys a run for their money.
At the same time the moments together allowed an emotional connection to grow from within, especially when it came to between River and Jax.
A lot of growth occurred between the two, establishing a stronger connection amongst them than what they had before, giving the rockiness in the start of their relationship.

It should be known that River did irk me at times. For someone who claimed to not be a child and want to be taken seriously, she sure didn’t help her case by being so whiny and annoying with her childlike behaviour in the beginning.
And though at that time she had me not being able to stand her. She did eventually grow on me the further the story went.
Especially when it came to the way she was there for Jax, by being patient and taking her time with him.

Zach definitely grew for me, but only because the way he was there for Jax in wanting to help him in any way possible to be there for River. Something he didn’t even have to do, but chose too. It was definitely sweet of him, showcasing a softer side to him which was unexpected to say the least.

Jax…my heart definitely ached for him after finding out about his backstory, something he had been secretive about. It definitely tugged on my heartstrings, especially when it (his past) would cause him to pull back into himself after ruining any progress he made.
He definitely did still manage to show some growth, even if it was with little baby steps, and for that he had me happy and proud of him. Since it showed how far he had come, considering where he started from.

Wow…the cliffhanger ending…talk about intense!
Obviously it wasn’t surprising that it would end in a cliffy, but the way it did was unexpected given the situation.
Definitely can’t wait to see how everything will play out in Rule!

Reap begins right after the cliffhanger that ended Ruin. With Rhett catching River and Zach. After some confrontation and revealed secrets, Rhett and the guys decide to take certain matters into their own hands.

Things don’t go as planned and Zach’s past starts to come out and plague his present.

Jax’s past plagues him every single day, but with the help of Zach and Diesel, he slowly allows himself what he has always wanted, River.

Diesel is starting to allow himself to want River. To see past her age and her friendship with his sister.

I am starting to wonder if there isn’t more to Diesel than has already been revealed. I hope not because there is already a whole lot of baggage that River has to deal with between Zach and Jax.

This book was very much about the bonding between River and the guys. Also, between the guys themselves. A lot of the backstories of Jax and Zach were also revealed. There is still much to learn and solve with those two especially.
"They one my body. Know exactly how to drive me wild and ruin me. But it isn't my body I want to five them. It's my heart. And that is a dangerous thing indeed."
I am still waiting for a blow-up to happen between Sadie Ray and River. Every time they interact, it’s like it sits just under the surface, but it doesn’t erupt.

River is finally growing the backbone she has been wanting for a while now, and is actually demonstrating it!
"For once, I want to be worth more than my name or my connections or my past. I want someone to want me."
This book does end on a cliffhanger, and it a pretty good one. So many lives hang in the balance that I can hardly wait for Rule (book 3) in late April.

I think I am fully team Diesel. Doms have a special place in my heart. Jax has so much to deal with, but I am warming up to him significantly. Zach just needs to get over himself!

There is something about Caitlyn Dare’s writing that just hooks you and and refuses to let you go! I need more River, Jax, Zach, and Diesel! Their collective and individual stories are addictive.

I am not sure if there is only one more book left in this series (only one is currently listed) but either way, I am excited for more. There are a lot of things that still needs to be revealed and wrapped up, but it’s possible to do it in one book. I am not sure I am ready to say goodbye to these characters in one more book though!

That cliffhanger is the most cliffhangery, cliffhanger that has ever cliffhangered. I’m not OK.

River's story demonstrates Dare's talent to a new level. I've been a fan of this duo since their debut, but this series is shaping up to be a cut above the rest. The characters' depth and the intricately woven storyline are completely addictive.

River has been on a journey to discover who she is since the moment she arrived in Savage Falls, and I love how it's been played out in an authentic way. When she met Sadie and Quinn, she discovered her inner sass, and I believe she demonstrated a strength she didn't know she had. She may appear sweet and innocent, but she possesses a fire within her.

I don't think I've ever read a RH where the men are so dissimilar, and on the surface, it would appear that Diesel, Jax, and Zach would never get along, let alone make a relationship work. The bond each of them has with River is unique to them, but Diesel, Zach, and Jax have chemistry as well. They have a way of reading each other without saying anything. I've never felt such a strong connection between the characters in a RH before. It's as if the four of them were meant to be together.

My emotions were all over the place, and I shed a few tears as these characters' anguish bled through the pages. At times, it was their willingness to do whatever the others required that cemented their place as my new favorite Dare couple. There's just a sense that what they have is monumental in comparison to other bookish couples.

Reap is engrossing from the first word to the jaw-dropping, wtf cliffhanger. A heady blend of searing chemistry (x3), a protective alpha, an alpha-hole, a broken hero, and a sweet, sassy heroine that owns them all. Every emotion bleeds through the pages, from heart-wrenching to heart-warming, hot AF steam, and a cliffhanger that will have you muttering all sorts of wtfs and leave you desperate for the conclusion.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

You guys are going to love Reap!!! This is the story River, Jax, Diesel and Zach. You better buckle up because they are going to give you all kinds of feelings through this entire book. You also have to have read Ruin first and this book will pick up right where Reap left off. Rhett can not believe that his sister is all grown up. She refuses to allow Zach to put her back in the cage that she has live in for so long because of his over protectiveness. She now knows what freedom tastes like thanks to her guys and she never knew how much she needed it until she found it. I loved watching River grow into the most amazing woman and sometimes I really wanted to punch Rhett for being such a butt. We find them all trying to find the right balance for their relationship. Zach and D are trying to help Jax in anyway they can because his past must have been as brutal as their imagination can comprehend because Jax has some wall made of steel and no one is getting in. They are not going to give up on him no matter what. I love that we get to see the softer side of these biker boys in this book. You are going to get moments in this book that you usually do not get in a MC book and I was living for it. I also might have been a mess a time or two also from how emotional this book really gets. Then ending though, I have to say it really hit me in the gut and now I am waiting breathlessly for the third book. I have to know what happens like yesterday. If you love enemies to lovers, bully, and why choose romances they you do not want to miss this series. Just don't forget to start it with Ruin first.

River Savage didn't necessarily choose to be a princess of the Red Ridge Sinners MC, more so the MC chose her, and she has spent the last year trying to find her place with them. Being an teen girl in the MC isn't the easiest thing to deal with, especially when your overbearing older brother has warned everyone away from you. Everyone treats you with kid gloves and withholds the truth when it's for your benefit, and there is no way any of them would consider dating you as it would go against the brotherhood.

But River isn't no ordinary girl, she is resourceful, smart, and always plays to win. When she wants something she will stop at nothing to get it, even if it means breaking her brother's pesky rules! And she has set her sites on three men in the MC and she's not willing to give them up without a fight!

As we rejoin our young heroine and the men that have captured a place in her heart we learn that the happily ever after she has been dreaming about for so long is just within reach. Each of the men have come to realize that if they want time with her they are going to have to share that time with two other men. While this new development comes easy to Zach the other two struggle a bit with it, as Diesel is still a little nervous about going after his best friends little sister, and Jax has a history that is keeping him from becoming fully involved. But just as these four start to find some semblance of normalcy danger threatens to tear it all apart... their is no way they are coming out of this unscathed!

Reap was nothing short of amazing, it had action, danger, smoldering passion, and of course some heart-squeezing emotion too. These four characters have found their way into my heart and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. Their perfectly crafted story kept me thoroughly entertained the whole way through. And after that jaw dropping cliffhanger I cannot wait to see what the pages of third installment hold for them!!! Highly recommend this one, it's characters are bound to steal your heart upon first glance!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Okay, I really loved this book. I honestly think I’m starting to like River and her guys more than I liked Sadie and hers!

This book continues on right where book one left off and it made getting back into this world so easy!! We jump right into Rhett and his overprotective bull shit for his sister, River. I think River will become one of my favorite main female characters. Her growth throughout this story, and the way she starts to stick up for herself more, is absolutely beautiful.

River’s guys are still hesitant on bringing their relationship out to the public [duh, because Rhett and Ray will murder them], and you still get some hesitance from Jax and Diesel, but the growth of these guys, and the bonds they start forming is so so good!! I love reverse harem, but sometimes it’s a little unrealistic [to me] for the guys to all be friends and okay with sharing right from the start. I honestly have grown to love when they start off not friends, and not wanting to share! These guys grow together throughout the book, and I think my favorite parts of this book were Zach and Diesel working to help Jax through his trauma and past.

I always have a favorite guy in RH books and I can honestly tell you that it IS Jax. I just felt for him and all that he’s gone through in life. He’s beautifully broken and trying his damned hardest to be what River needs all while working through his past. You can FEEL his internal struggle and the turmoil he goes through with every interaction he and River have.

We also find out more about Zach and why he’s in hiding. And it honestly makes you like him a little bit more haha!! Diesel starts to show his dominant personality and the guys totally call him on it!! Daddy D, anyone?! I love that they call him that!!

Caitlyn has definitely done it again. This book was incredibly well written and flowed beautifully. There was not a ton of action in regards to the MC side of things, but hold on to your seats, because I think book three will ramp that up for us!!

And in TRUE Caitlyn Dare fashion, Reap DOES end on a cliffhanger!!

First things first, Jax's storyline broke my heart. I was not prepared for the secrets that he was holding. I don't think we know the full truth yet, and that is going to be even more devastating. I did appreciate that Zach, Diesel, and River were there for him.

Rhett continues to have me shake my head with his big brother antics. I cannot wait for his reaction once things come to light.

Kat has my attention, and while I read the first part of her story in Dare, I cannot wait for Defy: A MFM Romance to be released so I can continue her storyline. Also, what happens in Dare takes place during this book. So if you want to know what's going on with Kat, go download Dare from the author's website.

Zach's background being revealed is raising some flags, and I am curious to see how all of that plays out. He is an interesting character who is playing things close to the vest.

Diesel has me wondering when he's going to cave, and get out of his head. What will it take for him to go for what he wants?

I'm glad that River finally spoke about what happened in Colton. That truth is out there and it no longer needs to sit upon her shoulders. The reaction to that was just what I expected it to be, and what happened after was also right in line with what I had envisioned.

The big moment that happened has my curiosity piqued. I think I know who is behind it all, and I have this feeling that a couple storylines are going to tie together. Time will tell.

Go read Reap!

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to be waiting as patiently as I can for Rule.

O.M.G…that is one mean cliffhanger. Seriously if you don’t like cliffhangers then maybe you should wait till the next book is out or it will drive you bonkers. It sure is an effective cliffhanger as I can’t wait for Rule to be released. I just must know what happened. Reap is full of surprise, drama, and soo much heat! Readers will be fanning themselves in a couple of spots in the book. One thing I can say for sure is that I could not put it down. It was another al- nighter for me. I may be a little tired during the day but it is always worth it. I know I don’t like stopping as I get so caught up in what is going on with the Red Ridge Sinners MC. I am so glad Cailtyn Dare (author) wrote a spin off of the Savage Falls Sinners MC. Cailtyn Dare has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I fell in love with her writing when I read Rebels at Sterling Prep series. Readers if you haven’t read it you are missing out on an awesome series. I just love how Caitlyn has all the books in a series are interconnected. It does make it hard to have to let them go. You just find yourself wanting more. I have read all of Caitlyn’s books except for two novellas and I am currently reading one of them, Crank. I know Crank’s story came out a while back, but I could not wait to read other books from the series. I am reading it now while waiting for Rule, book 3 of Red Ridge Sinners MC series. Rule is releasing on April 22, 2022. The other novella I plan on reading is Dare. There was not a lot of information about Dare but I found it in one of Bookfunnel’s giveaways. I have it on my kindle app just waiting for me to read it after Crank. I wholly recommend reading Reap (assuming you finished Ruin), the Red Ridge Sinners MC series, and Caitlyn Dare as an author. Happy reading!!

After the cliffhanger that Ruin left us with, I have been not so patiently waiting for Reap. Caitlyn Dare brought it big time with this book, but then left us with a doozy of a cliffhanger for the next book. Not sure my kindle survived that ending.

Yes, we pick up where we left off and we get some answers. The biggest ball that dropped is River knows that it is time to tell big brother what happened to her when she was in Colton and if you read any of the Savage Falls Sinners books, you know big brother is super protective of his sister. Things don’t sit well with him, but it also doesn’t sit well with a few others. We are given so many nuggets with Reap and honestly, I don’t know if I can wait for the next book. Think there is a way we can plead to get this next book earlier? Some of Jax’s story comes out and all I wanted to do was give him a great big hug. We also learn so much about Zach. Goodness this boy has a playful side, but that dirty mouth, just wow! Diesel we are learning bits and pieces about him, and I am guessing the ball will be dropped in the next book with him.

I loved getting to see River finally start to come out of her shell. And it isn’t just a little out. No, this girl decides she is done letting everyone decide for her and just let them. When big brother steps over the line, she lays into him for it. When the guys do something, she asked them not to, she tells them they screwed up. Kat, might be her best friend but even when she crosses the line she tells her. I have loved watching these 4 dance around each other and cannot wait for the next book.

After reading 'Ruin', I thought I was completely done with the Red Ridge Sinners MC for good. I really had to force myself to finish that book due to my absolute frustration with the characters. River Savage's doormat personality and her 'guys' distance were the whole books plot point. Also the reverse harem romance aspect seemed missing. I mean just a hint of passion from just one guy in a reverse harem style romance is kind of weird to me. So, (you may or may not be asking) why did I read the second book of a series I had completely given up on? Well, I needed to find out if I may have misjudged River and her guys. Maybe there truly is more depth to these character (and the storyline) than I originally thought.

Well, now we are in the second book in the series, 'Reap' and I'm seeing a possible story emerge. River is still River (sadly) and I'm not shocked to see her still clinging to her misfit group of guys. I don't dislike River, I just wanted her to show some strength in certain scenes and fight back instead of caving in so easily to her guys every need.

While River stayed the same, I noticed Jax, Diesel, and Zach are slowly starting to become more than one dimensional characters. Out of all of the guys, Jax has stolen my heart and broken it all at the same time. His past is full of trauma and deeply unhealed wounds. That's why I loved his connection with River the most. Her soft heart and welcoming arms are the perfect place for Jax to truly feel loved and accepted. I need to repeat, I really love Jax

My emotional back and forth with this series aside, I'm holding out hope that, this time, there may be hope for this series yet.

I truly do not care how perfect or imperfect these books are, I gobble them up in under 3-4 hours every time and I never regret it.

I mean, I regret it in the end because then they're over and I have to WAIT, but I have such a good time reading these books and these wild MC stories that I can't help myself and inhale them immediately. The drama is nuts, the cliffhangers are rude, and the characters are so messy and imperfect and crass and heartwarming and a whole mix of everything, and I just have so much fun. I still kinda sorta (definitely) hate that River is (supposed to be) in high school, and I'm struggling a bit with Zach, but Diesel is literal perfection (in my head he's Brant Daugherty and you cannot change my mind) and we get SO MUCH of Jax's backstory this time around that my heart literally broke for him and, like River, I wanted to scoop him up and just hold him.

That was a mouthful, and I would apologize, but I'm not sorry. This was a solid book 2 in the series, I loved getting to spend time with characters from the Savage series, and I am so happy with the growth and backstory we were shown in this installment (largely that of Zach and Jax but also a bit on River's end, too), that I have no fear going into book 3 that it won't be epic. I have a lot of feelings about these perfectly messy characters, and I cannot wait to see what Caitlyn Dare throws at us next with Rule because it can only get crazier from here.

Another 5 star read

I have been impatiently waiting for Reap after the last book, Ruin. Every book written by Caitlyn Dare immediately snags my attention and I can’t help but devour it as quickly as I can just so I can continue in this world and get answers.

In Reap, we are finally given some answers but it does cause more questions. We find out what happened to River previously and exactly what happened the night where she first Met Zach. As we continue down their journey, we are given more glimpses into Jax’s past which completely gutted me. Seeing him let down his walls and opening himself up to River and the guys was just so touching.

I can’t stop thinking about Zac, he is just so unapologetically himself that it is refreshing. You get to see how much he is starting to care and how frisky he can get with River and the others. Plus that mouth of his, just can’t get enough.

Diesel is starting to let his guard down and accept that River will forever be his pretty girl and I can’t wait to find out more of his past.

I absolutely loved seeing River come into her own in this story. She is getting more confident in what she wants and she isn’t afraid to speak out anymore.

I didn’t think they could top the cliffhanger in the first book, but Reap happened. I was Inconsolable for days waiting to know what happens next and jumping around with theories and contacting other readers to see how they were doing. When a series effects you that much, you know it’s a winner.

If you haven’t started this series, what are you waiting for?

Reap is amped up bringing the emotions along with lots of passion. The second book in the Red Ridge Sinner series is more in depth and super spicy, I couldn't put it down once I started.

What ended on a total cliffhanger in book one, we bring back River, Zach, Diesel, and Jax with more intensity for book two and this time dig deeper into what makes this group unique and work together in a way than other reverse harems I've run across.

River is drawn to each of these men, but for very different reasons. While that in itself isn't different to the reverse harem trope, these three guys would seem like cogs all working against one another in a real world situation instead of getting along when it came to one woman. It seems crazy on paper, but it works and it works very, very well. There is something that each man brings not only to River, but to each other in friendship. I enjoyed watching those bonds form just as much as the ones with River.

While they each find a unique path to River, they also unite around her, thus forming a friendship none of them would have predestined before meeting the woman of their dreams. The question now becomes can they hold on to her and the bond that is still very tenuous while there are still enemies at large. Enemies that could destroy everything and everyone around them.

Reap is a passionate read with some pretty heavy emotions laced throughout along the way. I can hardly wait to see where this story takes us next.

"For once, I want to be worth more than my name or my connections or my past. I want someone to want me."

Let me start by saying that I love this world that Caitlyn Dare have created for their readers. As with all of their books, the previous book had a cliffhanger, so Reap picks up right where Ruin left off. We also get to see the club scene from DARE, where River and Kat go to the costume party, from River and her guys’ point of view and I love it!!

From there we are taken on a journey where the relationship between River, Diesel, Jax and Zach is growing. They are all coming to terms with their feelings and throwing caution to the wind, unable to hold back any longer. We also learn a little more about Jax’s past, which broke my heart. With the help of Diesel, Zach and especially River, he is able to push his boundaries, even if only a little, but she is determined to be what he needs and help him through it all. But it’s Zach’s past that comes back to haunt them all this time around. With a note left for Zach, threatening River, and River left in the dark about it, things get a bit intense….and then we’re left with another cliffhanger, this one even worse than the last, in my opinion!!

And don’t worry, there’s plenty of steam, hot af scenes, swoon worthy moments and witty banter. I need book three, titled Rule, ASAP!!

Happy Reading!!
