Leading with one of the most memorable meet cutes I've read was the PERFECT introduction to this new-to-me author's work. I'm jumping into the series with the final book, and I am just fine with that - this was easy to read as a standalone, and such steamy, tension-filled fun that it kept me turning the pages. These two have sparks flying between them from the first moment they meet, and the forbidden office dynamic that followed kept the tension ratcheted up. Plus, this hero is a genuinely nice guy who is not afraid of a commitment, and I loved his determination to get more than one night with his girl. There was perhaps a bit of a lull in the middle, but that's really my only complaint about this low angst, spicy treat - it was exactly what I was in the mood for when I started reading.

The story follows Charlize, a woman who got her heart broken a year ago. She's been traveling the world ever since, and has only temporarily returned to her home base. So when she meets a sexy stranger at a wedding - in a very awkward way - he throws a wrench in her plans. Owen is the kind of guy Charlize knows to stay away from, but there's something about him that draws her closer. And when they share one heat-filled night together, Charlize is not sure that she'll be able to keep her distance. But both Charlize and Owen are thrown for a loop when they discover that Charlize will be temporarily working at the business he owns - for his ex-wife, no less. Surely they can keep their hands off each other while Charlize is working in the office... right?

I really had no idea what to expect going into this, but the hysterical, heat-filled meet cute convinced me that I was in for a great read. The chemistry between these two is SUPER obvious, and that first steamy scene was certainly fan-worthy. I loved that Owen worked so hard to win Charlize over; he knew that someone amazing had stumbled into his life, and he was not willing to let her go. And I also thought the office situation was pretty unique - Owen works with his ex-wife, and he's trying to be respectful towards her. I kept worrying that there was going to be a ton of drama there, and I was very relieved to discover that wasn't the case. That's the only part of the story that dragged a little for me, but I also loved the playfulness and flirty moments. It's not the kind of story that digs deep or gets heavy, but it was just the kind of light and sexy office romance I wanted.

I’ll never get tired of reading any books written by Nina and this one is no different seriously from start to finish it had me hooked.

Charlize is a woman I’d love to be friends with, she has no boundaries with anything that she says or thinks it just comes out but always in a manner you just smile over because it’s her and she’s absolutely true to herself which makes her even more endearing especially to Owen, their first meeting is hilarious which I won’t spoil but trust me it’s something else 😆

And oh Owen this man is pure heaven with a side of sin….If you don’t want to rip he’s clothes off I’m worried about you and slightly disgusted in all seriousness Bahahaha…. Honestly the man has a heart of gold and knows what he wants but work can take over he’s life until Charlize that is her joy and outlook in life rubs off on him showing a different side.

Owen North you are what real men should want to be when they grow up. This man, this character, steals your heart, your soul and your breath from the first moment he arrives on the pages. A man who loves hard when he sees it standing in front of him, who is possessive and an alpha in just the right quantity and learns to put his priorities right when it counts the most. Charlize is the woman that you want by your side as your friend and your confidante. She was a quirky character that made you smile, laugh out loud and tear up when you can feel the emotions getting too much for her. Their story was addicting and captivating and one you just didn’t want to end. It was overflowing with chemistry, heat and the passion between these two will have your skin on fire. A story that draws you into their world with such ease that climbing back out of it isn’t really something you want to do. Owen and Charlize I think just might be my characters of the year. Can I say the bonus epilogue was like the icing on the cake, savor every word and every moment with this couple because they are hard to let go of.

What can I say about this one, loved Owen and Charlize from the 1st chapter. All of these Alpha males are very swoon worthy, but I have a tender spot for Owen North. He kind of has a mixture of Wilder from the Storm MC series. Every time that I think Nina can’t outdo her last book, she goes ahead and blows you away. Loved the interactions with the other couples and the ladies group chat, made me long for Storm group chats. Definitely recommend this book, they don’t need to read in order. But you’ll enjoy and appreciate the dynamics more if you. Thank you again Nina and congrats on your 32nd book.

Owen & Charlize ... Hilarious & sexy

For me no one, and I mean NO ONE, has come close to Nina's ultimate alpha male ... King, but Owen North has joined King on the number one pedestal. A badass biker and a filthy rich millionaire, so alike yet so different. OWEN NORTH is another sexy, hot, often hilarious read that had me completely hooked from the most amazing meet cute I have ever read. The opening chapter set the tone for this wonderful story, and I couldn't stop reading, such was the draw of the storyline and the two main characters.

"You're the very best kind of trouble, aren't you?"

From the moment Owen North and Charlize Cohen meet you just know that their story is going to be special. Owen is a sexy, suited, workaholic, the epitome of the typical New York man Charlize is trying to avoid. Yet, how can she when he accepts her for who she is, he likes all of her quirks, the way she constantly rambles when she's nervous, and how she pushes him outside his box. Charlize is the woman Owen never knew he needed, she's fun, beautiful, smart, and never shy with what she wants. Will she allow Owen into her heart, or will she shut it down for fear of what has happened to her in the past?

"Nothing I do with you will ever be accidental. Not when I'm deliberately going out of my way to make you mine."

How much did I love Owen and Charlize? Oh. My. God., they are the best!!! Their chemistry, heat, and attraction to one another is way off the charts. They were just so at ease together, the banter, the 'big' conversations, the movie watching, the schmexyness, everything was just so natural between them, it was sublime. Charlize possessed a wonderful inner commentary quirk that had me laughing so many times, but also feeling her inner turmoil. Owen though, was determined to show Charlize that he wanted and loved her just the way she was. Nina is known for her heat and the electricity she brings to her intimate scenes, and I can tell you now, she brings the explosiveness ... girl, I needed some heavy cooling down!!

"I want to know all your favorites, Charlize. Every filthy, dirty thing you like and want me to do to you."

OWEN NORTH was everything I've come to expect from Nina, two sexy main characters who enjoy being together and a storyline that kept me captivated. There's fun, drama, a touch of heartache, plenty of laugh out loud moments, and friends you want in your own life. I loved the emails and texts that passed between Owen and Charlize, and the ones between Charlize and the girls, Nina certainly had me sniggering with what they all came out with. It was awesome catching up with the previous couples, they all make such a wonderful group of friends. Owen and Charlize have become one of my all-time favourite couples, their story is one I will reread multiple times. And that ending ... all I can say is bring on Bradford and Kristen!!!

Shhhh....don't tell the other alphas in this series, but Owen is my new favorite!! He's a different kind of alpha - the easygoing kind, no less commanding, but with a laid back vibe that's not present in any of the other guys (especially Alphahole himself, Ashton), and I absolutely loved that about him. It's why he and Charlize are the perfect fit. She's got walls around her heart, has a lot of damage done to that heart, but that heart is so big and just wanting someone to put her first. That she was paired with the sweetest, dirtiest alpha is so fitting, and so perfect. Their chemistry steamed up my Kindle, they both grew more than a little, and I fell hard for them. Can't wait for more Billionaire Alphas to be brought to their knees by love now.

Character Strength:
Owen and Charlize are definitely my most favorite characters ever. They have this amazing chemistry that’s crazy and undeniable. It’s impossible to not feel every emotion and experience every high and low right along with them. The personalities and feelings that come with Owen and Charlize are absolutely relatable and make their characters that much more personable. From the moment they meet, these two will captivate your mind and steal your heart.
The supporting characters are just as powerful and relatable too. Who wouldn’t love having a bestie like Poppy or Dylan in their life? If you ask me, Poppy is a force to be reckoned with all on her own, supporting character or not. You’re going to love her as much as you love Owen and Charlize. There isn’t a weak character anywhere in this book.

Emotional Value:
If you're looking for a book that'll give you the feels, this is it. All of them. Be prepared to cry, laugh, scream, cry, yell, laugh, and so much more. It's got it all. I was invested from the start and you will be too.

Overall Opinion:
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. I know you will too. Stop wasting time and read this book, you will not be disappointed. I give you my word.

This is the fifth book in the Escape With A Billionaire Series from Nina Levine. If you have read any of these books then you know that Nina writes these guy who steal your heart. This however, is a complete stand alone in the series.
This is the story of Owen and Charlize. These two meet at her cousins wedding and the sparks are automatically flying all over the place. Charlize has just gotten back from traveling after her ex broke her heart. She never expects to meet such a man that makes her feel things she didn't think she would feel again and some she has never felt. Owen has been divorced for a year and is part owner of a company he runs with his ex-wife. These two have the night of their lives after the wedding and Owen knows that he wants and needs Charlize in his life. She however has sworn off relationship and can only give him one night and knows they will never see each other again. However, since Charlize works for a temp agency and he next job is to work for a woman named Jill. She is really happy about this new job until she walks into her new bosses office and learns that she works basically for Owen too. He is determined to show he that he is wanting more than the night they had and also show her what life could be like if she just gave him a chance. I loved reading this book and watching these characters grow and learn about each other. I loved them both and it was for sure a book that you will not want to put down. I know I didn't want to. I left this book feeling like I had just read a story that made my heart so full and happy. I really can't recommend Owen North enough. You need this book in your life.

This story is as close to a romcom as you can get really as Charlize was just laugh out loud funny: she was unashamedly blunt, a little clumsy and a whole lot living for the moment. Her brutal honesty and inability to filter her thoughts before verbalising made me fall hard for her, she is the best friend everyone deserves to have in their life. The romance begins from the moment she meets Owen who just knows what he wants from the second he interacts with her. He is divorced, focussed on his career, not looking for love but finds it anyway… unfortunately the recipient is not as willing. This story made me laugh and smile, the steam factor was off the charts and at times I swear there were actual sparks coming from my kindle! It was so great to have other characters from the series pop in to say hello too and I totally recommend this story for anyone looking for a feel good vibe. It was a pleasure to read with well rounded characters, plot development that kept everyone on their toes and memorable interactions between characters that left you feeling everything they were experiencing. I really felt the connection to the characters in this story and could tell the author loved them which just added to my overall reading experience. Another winning addition to this series.

This is the 5th installment of the Escape with an Alpha Series and I think the best one I have read yet. I had several laugh out loud moments, a few fan myself moments and some swoon moments too. Are you ready for a zero to 100 romance connection with some hiccups?

From the minute they met Owen was drawn to Charlize. Charlize has just returned home from a year abroad trying to heal her broken heart. Determined that she has no need for a man in her life. Owen is your classic business owner in charge, working too much, trying to do everything and get all the recongnition he can to be a success.

One night of big talk, a little dancing and wine turns to a dance in the sheets. Their sizzling chemistry dances off the pages as these characters banter and play. A want for more leads to plans without committments. Will they be able to keep this just sex and fun? Will life get in the way and have other ideas?

I recommend this book and series as they were fun and enjoyable to read. Nina always gives us a tight storyline that draws you in wanting more.

I loved Owen and Charlize! Charlize is a woman that had no filters when she opened her mouth. I found that very refreshing. Owen’s reactions to Charlize remarks had very funny moments. Owen is the perfect hero, loyal, loving and sexy. They were perfect for each other. Owen’s love for Charlize overcame the struggles they both faced. I wish I could have my own Owen.

I fell in love with Owen North straight away and was just waiting for him to slip up….. but he never did. He really was a dream boyfriend. Loved Charlize just as much. Her banter, inner thoughts cracked me up. She was such a straight shooter and Owen was so caring and thoughtful and gave her his full attention. Lucky for these two they both had the stamina needed for each other :-)

To steal a quote from a popular movie “I fell in love with this book the way you fall asleep, slowly and then all at once”. From the very first page of this book I was enchanted with this couple, their witty banter was EVERYTHING!!!! In so many books of this genre the man tends to be a jerk and it takes time for him to soften up, well not Owen North, he is the man of my dreams from the first word he speaks!!! I cannot honestly say there is one thing I disliked about Owen, he is kind, loving, patient, helpful, HOT, funny, a good dancer, honest, loyal! Charlize is strong, hysterical, honest, smart, kind, loyal, beautiful! These two have won the top spot in my favorite book couples ever, they are relationship goals, not just their relationship but also the relationships they have with their friends & families! I loved how even if Owen was frustrated with someone he still gave them a chance and was kind to them, he never treated anyone poorly or made anyone feel less than and that’s a huge tick in my boxes!!!! I loved Charlize’s amazing relationships with her best friend and her cousin, they were entertaining but also so supportive! Most of all I loved Charlize and Owen together, I couldn’t get enough of their banter, how honest they were with each other and that neither of them hurt each other….they have such a beautiful love story and I don’t think I could recommend this book enough!!!! Nina Levine has such an amazing gift for writing characters who encompass everything I look for in a book! I have read everything she has written, Owen North being her 32nd book, and I fall in love every.single.time!!!!! I read to escape, and when I read one of Nina’s books I am completely lost in the worlds she creates, I can see and feel the scenes she describes almost like I am standing just on the outside looking in! I read a quote once that said “A book is a dream that you hold in your hands” and that is so true when you read Owen North❤️ Unfortunately we live in a world that is focused on the negatives in life and it is very hard to find the positive….when I read a book by Nina Levine I get to escape to a world where fairy tales come true and love is all around me, there are kind people doing kind things and I need these books to remind me that these things do exist!!! Her stories give me hope and we could all use a little hope right now!!!

In the 5th book in this series we get good guy Owen North and quirky Charlize. He’s dedicated to his job and does very little for himself and she’s been burned by influential men before and only wants 1 night. Then she’s working for his ex wife if the company they own together. What could go wrong?

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

It was love at first page for me because Charlize and Owen are couples goals. She’s so much fun and kind and intelligent, and he’s sexy as hell, bossy but respectful, he listens to her and go out of his way to be with her, so I loved it. And I’m really loving this author.

This book is so good! Owen and Charlize had me cracking up with their getting to know you banter. And fanning myself with their “hiking”. I felt all of Charlize’s doubts and fears and cried along with her. I might even love Owen North more than I do Beckett Pearce. And that’s saying a LOT.

Goodness if Authors did did an online shop for men i can guarantee Owen North would be in my basket!

I basically swooned my way through this book. I loved Charlize, she was funny and random and quirky, i very much related to her word vomit haha why hold in your thoughts? Get em out there girl! But for me Owen stole the show. He was so blunt and honest there could be no misunderstanding what he means when he speaks. I loved his quiet strength and determination to get what he wants. He wasn't afraid to lay it all out there! I think the part that put him above most was when he literally dropped everything to go get his girl. He was prepared to give up everything he had worked for to make sure Charlize knew she was the top of his priorities *le sigh* He'd learnt his lesson from his first marriage and came through for her when she needed it.

Owen also didn't disappoint in the bedroom. Another reason he's in my basket... he loves an all day buffet... i'm so down for that! Hahaha what girl isn't? Yum!

There was lots of fun in this book and i loved seeing all the past couples from the series. It made my heart sing to know they're all out there in booklandia having a jolly old time at Gala's together eating Nutella dessert's lol

Happy to see who's coming next! Should be a fun one! Bradford seems a bit grumpy to me lol i love a grump! Bring on all the words Ms Levine! I need em all!

Nina Levine and her band of merry alphas just keep on coming and let me tell you Owen North is all mine. That man can parks his boots under my bed any night.
Time and a time again Nina has delivered a mouth watering read and this one is up there with the best, and might I say who doesn’t want a bestie like Charlize with all her words and thoughts that make this book so entertaining. The chemistry between the two is so intense you feel it through the pages, and the storyline as always is superb.

okay, i have a bit more to finished ...but wow, what a great read!! i've read Ashton Scott, check! not read: Jack Kingsley, Beckett Pearce, and Jameson Fox. so, this is book 5. i am loving these characters. do these books have any connection?? i know or if i recall Ashton and Jack were friends??! okay, i gotta go back and read book 2, 3, and 4. i see now ...i think i got to %70 ish and they started bringing in the other men. as you can see by my reviews i have read plenty of Nina's books. not her more softer reads. now don't get me wrong ...she is still silly, love the humor, quirkiness and all that ...but those MC Romances were where i started with her ...gosh i forget how i found her ...book blogging or?? i am so hoping this ends the way i wish for it to?? we will see. and please if you have to read this series get on that. i am gonna read those other 3 soon. i hope??! never enough book time. laters.

What a love story! What a dude! I had forgotten how swoon worthy Nina Levine’s Alpha’s can be!

Owen and Charlize possess what real love is made of…humor, honesty, passion, and fun. The spontaneous combustion, the side jokes, the what is gonna come outta Charlize mouth next makes this one of my fav reads of the year.

Nina always gives me a man on a mission, a woman filled with determination and a love like no other. I always want more.

This story deserves more than a 5, I adored this couple. So suited to each other I'm surprised they weren't joined at the hip. Charlize is funny, full of wit and sound advice, hates buttons and shirts, in fact Owen should just stay naked to keep her happy. Owen actually takes time to get to know her and to understand and get her. She's been let down hard so many times but he fights for her and proves she is worth it. I think this is a modern day fairy tale complete with its happily ever after ending. I love the friends they have or make, the support they give. Owen is not a bossy arrogant alpha, Charlize has him wrapped around her all of her not just her little finger, he sank deep and would give everything for her. Sparks galore, it was a wonder any cloths survived either of these characters so please do expect steam when reading. Despite all her wit and banter though the serious part of Charlize deep in her heart just wanted someone who prioritised her over everyone and everything, something that had never been shown to her ever. I got her and understood her need, I think it's something many of us hope to find but rarely do. This story is a real love story, one I found exciting, it made happy and smiley, I found it painful if I thought things weren't right and at the end my heart soared for both of them. Nina, I know this book was hard at times to write, you struggled but honestly you did a fabulous job, it's one of your best books and I'm claiming this couple coz I love them both.

A North Star!!!

OMG, I just finished Owen North, the 5th book in Nina Levine's Escape With A Billionaire series and I'm not sure that I can ever expressed all of my feelings about it!

First off, I wasn't sure that I could possibly love Owen as much as I did Beckett and Jameson...the last 2 books in this series and my very favorites! That being said, I fell as hard and fast for Owen as Charlize, the h did!!! There truly wasn't much about Owen not to love, he was pretty much perfection. He had some baggage, but even with that.....about as perfect as you can get. Charlize was such a treasure, she too has her baggage, but they deal with their histories in totally different ways. There were so many big talks that touched my heart and always lessons to be learned in Nina Levine's books, if you pay close attention.

Owen North is such a beautiful, fun love story. But for me the banter between the main characters is the best part. In my opinion, no one writes banter quite like Nina Levine!!!

Highly recommend this book it's definitely 5 stars!!!

Amazing!!!! Absolutely loved Owen and Charlize. These two had me laughing so much with their banter, it was like foreplay for them hahahaha.
These two meet at Charlize’s cousins wedding in the most unlikely places, a bathroom. But after their bathroom encounter they end up spending the rest of the evening getting to know one another while Charlize avoids her mother. After a night together and running out early the next morning Charlize doesn’t think she will see him again. Going to her new temp job she runs into none other but Owen, owner of the company she is temping at. These two come to an agreement to keep things platonic until Charlize job is done. But fate has other plans for these two as the boundaries set in place get pushed around. You won’t be able to put the book down in hopes that on the next page these two stop dancing around the tension on the room and just finally go for it.
Another amazing book by an amazing author. I would definitely go read this book and the others in this series.

Owen and Charlize are an adorable couple and they will have you wanting so much more of them. Charlize is this adorable woman who I just loved from page one. She just made me want to be her best friend and hang out with her all the time. When she meets Owen you can tell there is something there. As he tries to break down her barriers she will have him wrapped around her finger. These two will go back and forth trying to live their lives while fighting to be with one another. Find out if Owen can break her walls down and show her what love really is.

Its been a while since I read a book by Nina and after reading this one I am cross with myself for leaving it so long!! Once I started this I was most certainly hooked on Mr North. Talk about swoon-worthy!!

Soon as Owen and Charlize meet the sparks are most definitely flying and what was supposed to be one hot as hell one night only. Fate stepped in and brought them back together again when Charlize picks up some work for a temp agency and she finds out she is working at Owen's company. Add in the fact she is working under Owen's ex-wife Jill things are going to get interesting.

I loved Charlize and Owen, they were perfect for each other and the chemistry was seriously hot. Nina will have you laughing, crying and feeling all hot an bothered.

I was gifted a copy of this book from the Author. This is my honest opinion.

I absolutely loved reading more about each and every character and their stories unfold throughout this series.
Everyone needs a Owen North in their life.
A night with my bestfriend cousin Poppy at her wedding finds Charlize a hot one night stand named Owen who is friends with the groom Seth.
What was a perfect night suddenly turned awkward when her temp job has her working for Jill Owen's ex-wife.
An captivating office romance that will leave you not be able to put this down.
Highly recommend reading.
