About the author

CA Miconi began reading at the age of five and has never stopped. Her childhood was filled with multiple readings of Gone with the Wind, the ultimate tragic novel. CA got her own happily ever after when she married her retired military hero, Gary, in 2010. Sean & Angela

This is the first book in the Healing Hearts Series which takes place in the same town as the Green Springs Series so there is a lot of overlap with the characters from Green Springs. It’s also very loosely associated with Samantha Cole’s Suspenseful Seduction World, however the great thing about this book is it can be read as a standalone too.
Sean and Angela’s story is an older couple romance story, a widow and a man that has raised his adult daughter alone for twenty years. I love reading novels about people who think there is no chance of ever finding love again and them finding out how wrong they are.

This is a good book featuring two people who have loved and lost. Angela lost her husband in a war, Sean’s wife left him and their 6 year old daughter without a word for 20 years. Will this couple be ever to find their hea or be afraid to love again. Get a glass of sweet tea, dive in and take a trip to Green Springs, Mississippi.

Good story

This is the first book I have read by this author. I enjoyed it, it was a sweet and quick story. Both Angela and Sean are trying to recover from different traumas. It was good to see them get their happily ever after.

A sweet and easy read about a widow and divorcé. It definitely feels like there are plot holes that could have been filled in, but it would have made for a longer story. Definitely worth the read, but know you may be wondering if there is more.

This is a second chance love story of an older couple not expecting to find love. Angela who lost her husband and Sean going through a bitter divorce and is not to trusting but when they meet things begin to change. I loved this story.

Both strong but troubled characters, neither looking for love but when they meet the attraction is instant. Set in a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything, it sounds picturesque, but not especially private. I found this to be a little angsty at times but there is also romance. It is an enjoyable read that held my attention and sucked me in so I could get lost in the story. As I had already some other books related to some of the characters , it was nice to catch up with them as well. Not a complicated plot and it's a fairly fast progress from meeting to involved relationship, so I found it quite a sweet read. I loved it. Started 3/2/22 Finished 4/2/22

Great story about 2 troubled people who were not looking for love but man when they meet. You could feel the connection between them. This was a great story with a wonderful storyline. I really loved the characters in this book.

This was an awesome story about 2 troubled people who will get a second chance at love. Sean and Angela's story kept me engaged. I loved that it's about characters in a small town because for some reason, small town romances just give me a warm fuzzy feel. I loved their connection and how everyone knew everyone's business. I mean, what can you expect in a small town. Really enjoyed it!
