Can he tame her wild spirit long enough to give her his child?

Kai needs a child, an heir for his fortune. But from the moment the big Maltaffian lays eyes on his intended surrogate, he instantly feels an insatiable hunger only she can assuage. If the impatient little Terran wasn’t so anxious to hurry along their conception, maybe he could make her realize she needs him too.

Haven never expected to be a surrogate for an alien, but she’s always up for an adventure. When her best friend decides to volunteer with the top-secret fertility clinic, Haven jumps in right alongside her, with both feet. Though she might be a bit of a party girl right now, she knows she might be glad one day that she took the once-in-a-lifetime chance to restore her fertility.

And the free vacation and cash bonus will be the icing on the cake.

Then she meets Kai.

At first, she’s happy to ogle the mouth-wateringly beautiful Maltaffian male, and secretly very pleased to learn that they’ll be making his baby the old-fashioned way.

But then out of nowhere, he becomes wildly possessive, snarling at anyone who comes near her, making crazy statements about sharing his fortune and his fancy life with her, and swearing he’ll never let her go back to Terra-58 where he can’t protect her.
And that’s when things at the Midsummer Fertility Center start to get weird.

only 2.35 ⭐️

this one was actually shorter

i DID NOT LIKE that he was YELLOW
sorry GOLD
idk it was more difficult to ignore his alien-ness this time
BUT HE HAD A MORE NORMAL NAME it was Kai
but ugh the horns again 🤢

and like 2 seconds after meeting her (which he thought she was a friking barista) he was all like “👽😤 she’s my mate 😵‍💫 i can feel it 👽 she must feel it too 😤”
ickkkkk
AND THEN HE DIDNT EVEN PROPERLY EXPLAIN IT TO HER OR MAKE SURE SHE UNDERSTOOD BEFORE HE GOT HER PREGNANT

and he was way more possessive than the first one

but OBERON 🥰 again he was my favorite character
i’m starting to like Dr. Pan too 😁

okay the wedding thing was pretty sweet ngl
and tthey makes their son after her dad 🫢

p.s. i am still going to read the rest 🤪

Haven de Tasha Black Serie Alien Surrogate Agency libro 2

Argumento:

Entonces conoce a Kai.

This was a sweet story of fated mates who meet by an agency pairing. They are complete opposites but are immediately drawn toward each other. Fighting the pull, they try to build a relationship, but the bond won't have that. The dual pont of view was entertaining.

I loved this second installment of the Alien Surrogate Agency! I really enjoyed reading Haven! I love how things were quicker in this one. Their instant connection and need for each other was just wonderful. It made me want just keep reading this! Another thing I really enjoyed was Oberon! He’s definitely not you’re average AI! I love that he’s becoming more and more of a successful matchmaker! I hope to hear more of him! Fantastic, Ms. Black!! Now onto the next…#3! :)

Riveting read, wonderful characters and simply wonderful story
Haven had not realised quite how much she had wanted a child of her own until she had discovered that she was having infertility problems and now she had heard of an option that she could possibly apply to join, it was something totally new but she was willing to try anything.
Kai had spent his life being raised by his father to take over the family company and now that his parents had gone and his younger years seemed to have ticked by far more quickly than he ever expected he was focused now on only having a child of his own even though this would have to be done via fertility.
Kai had been matched with a Terran female and she was going to meet him at a special fertility clinic that was run by an AI who had some of the most amazing success and it was constantly trying to improve its methods so that they could assist more people that were in need of help in starting a family.
Haven had hoped that she would be able to help Kai with his hopes in having a child of his own and although she had not known much about the race of Maltaffian, she had had since discovered that she was in fact his fated mate and that as soon as she fell pregnant, they could expect to have a baby in their arms within a week which was half Terran and Maltaffian race and they would have a wonderful life as a family,
This was a very cleverly written story and the way in which the surrogacy agency worked in this instance with the AI by the mane of Oberan was extremely cleverly written, I enjoyed every moment of the book and am sure that other readers will be as inspired as myself.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

A fast-paced, entertaining read with great characters and a romance loving A.I. named Oberon who is coordinating an opposites attract romance.

Haven is a Terra-58 female who didn’t realize how much she longed for a child until she had fertility issues. An accidental discovery of a secret alien surrogacy program that has pop a high success rate of restoring fertility has her racing to sign up.

Kai, the prospective father to her surrogate baby is a sexy alien that gets her heart pumping and her hormones all a flutter. Kai quickly realizes Haven is his mate bond.

Their relationship progresses exceptionally fast with Haven and Kai having to quickly adjust to changes in their lives. Coming from different planets, backgrounds and cultures cause some additional obstacles for the new mates to navigate and overcome.

A heartwarming and entertaining read with much less angst than book #1 in this series. I enjoyed reading this free ARC provided by the author; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Kai & Haven

Oh, my Heart! Ms. Black, you always find a way to touch mine.

Haven wasn't crazy about her job but it worked till she found her dream. Until then she'd hunt for every adventure possible--the reason she signed up for the SSFP (super secret fertility program). Her friend didn't keep the secret very well and Haven decided to save her credits from the traditional fertility programs and get a vacation and bonus as well. She wasn't prepared for the hot alien bonus.

As usual, she didn't read all the details and just jumped right in. There were surprises in store for her. The future dad seemed not only gorgeous but a great guy until it seemed he had another priority that made her wonder about his fathering skills. Work was okay but family needed to be important too. Was it for him?

I love the way he supports her and encourages her to find her dream. And of course, the feeling AI is a big part of the story one of my favorite characters. I guarantee this will touch your heart, feelings, steam, great characters, and worldbuilding.

Haven is a free spirit while Kai is rooted in work. They've got common ground in that they both are seeking to honor their families with their work, even if they aren't sure how to do it. Despite their differences, finding the commonalities seems to help pull them together, if a mating bond wasn't enough! The sexual tension was an all time high, even for poor Oberon who couldn't seem to figure out what was going on with these two this time around haha. The biggest joy of this book was watching them fall in love and form a deeper connection than just their carnal desires and mating call that was present from the beginning.
I rated 4/5 only because I wish it were just a little longer. Maybe a scene where they fight about his working all the time and her concerns, and then making up? Without giving too much away, the way they went about having that Convo actually did seem fitting for these two characters, and I love that the Doctor had to tell them to focus and stop networking hahaha. So maybe I'm just greedy and want more more more lol

I have somewhat mixed emotions about this one. It has similar light sci-fi vibes as the first one and it flows a little better than the first one. Although this is a lighter book I appreciate that the author actually acknowledged that the FMC was having a bit of an adjustment period from thinking she was just going to be a surrogate mom to getting a whole mate and having a baby relatively quickly.

I think my main con for this was the MMC selling most of his family business to support the FMC ambitions. I would usually read this as sweet if the FMC had been working towards a certain dream for a while, but that’s not the case for this book. The FMC is kinda flaky and trying to find her passion. It’s odd to me that she would just settle on I wanna open a night club (without much of a plan) and the MMC is all go for it baby, everybody is like wonderful idea and he sinks a lot of money into it. Idk it felt like a recipe for disaster if you ask me. Maybe I’m thinking about this short fluff of a read too much? 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

2.5 stars, maybe.
It’s ok. Not as fully developed as I would have liked but what I expected from this trope. Human girl wants a baby so she signs up to be a surrogate for an alien male.
They meet and turns out she’s his true mate (yes, insert eye roll) and they feel incredible lust for each other. They finally have their frenzy of sex and voila, she’s pregnant. And get this, pregnancy takes a week at most for the birth to occur. So that’s ridiculously fast. How does one even get used to being pregnant? And how does they do birth control in that case - good lord, can you imagine!?

Anyway the conflict comes from the couple not communicating and Haven having misjudged Kai’s business. But it’s resolved super fast and Haven figures out her direction super quickly too considering she spends most of the book lamenting the fact that she doesn’t know what she’s supposed to do with her life.

I’m not sure if I want to continue. This book is mediocre at best. But there are typos and the story is just rushed. Editing and spending more time developing the story would improve it.

Tasha Black does it again. I love a fast paced, exciting, and hard to put down book. This is Haven and Kai’s story. Oh what a story. After hearing a conversation that she “accidentally“ heard the adventurous Haven decided she could be a surrogate for an alien. In the culture she is in now it’s all about conceiving and having a child, which Haven seems in capable of. After hearing about the male aliens being able to impregnate her, which will start her ability to have more children it was a no-brainer to go.
What Haven hadn’t expected was for a gorgeous large alien named Kai to start being overly protective, and growling at her. What she doesn’t know is she is Kai’s forever mate. The book is fast paced, the characters are so wonderful and the author has put forth such descriptions of where they are what it is like and most of all being able to get inside the characters head. And who doesn’t like a happily ever after that has a baby in it.?

Haven #2 04/29/2022

Haven has just about imposed herself and another friend in on her friend Piper’s trip to a special fertility clinic because all three women have been unsuccessful getting pregnant. But Haven’t has had to Waite a week for the perspective father to show up. Kai has had to get his business in order to make the trip. Now that his here he can’t believe his good Fortune because Haven is just beautiful she his mate. Now to convince her about it all. But he keeps having to take call from work and that makes Haven not sure he wants to be a father or if he just want a child for show. But she ok she was raised by just her mom so she can do this by herself. So enjoy the good read and see how things work out for this small family!!

Kindle likes to suggest books based on series you don't finish. There is a reason why series go unfinished. The first book didn't make me at all eager for this book. There's now even less plot and even more questions unanswered in the second book. There were just very little details given so it felt glazed over. One minute she's listening to Piper's call and the next she's already on the island. Than one minute she thinks it's fake and than magically it's real. It was like a switch flipped and there was no actual details given. Yes I did finish the book but it was more like trying to get to end to make sense of anything and than it not make any sense. If you've started it or about it I'd advised to make a U - Turn. The story does not get any better.

Haven is the second book in the Alien Surrogate Agency Series and it was even better than the first. Haven discovers she has infertility problems and it wasn’t until that moment she realizes how much she longs for a child of her own. When she hears of an option that could possibly help, she jumps at the chance, but what she never counted on was Kai. Kai needs an heir to his fortune, then he’s matched with Haven, and from that first moment, the attraction between them is undeniable. (No spoilers from me…you need to read this for yourself.) I absolutely loved Kai and Haven, both so different, yet just what the other needs. I’m so loving this series and highly recommend.

Wow! “Haven: Alien Surrogate Agency” is the 2nd fantastic story with never a dull moment ;) This grabbed me from the start with this author’s magical way with words, relatable characters & clever dialogue, plus romance & chemistry between the h/H, Haven & Kai, that kept me turning pages like crazy but gave me the HEA I want ;) ... Even tho I volunteered to read this before the kindle release day, it was without any outside influences & I can honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction! Now I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment, but of course I always do wait ;)

Such a great feel good read!!

I loved this book! Haven and Kai were opposites, yet perfect for wach other. I loved watching them struggle with things and learning that they just needed to communicate and be together. This book makes you feel good and smile through out. Haven is such a great character and you want to be her friend. Can't wait for the next, still loving Oberon and watching him grow as well. This can be read as a stand alone, but would make more sense to start with the first one. Great read!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: fated mates; opposites attract
Angst: 😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Super cute, quick and easy read in the newest series by Tasha Black. Haven has been unable to get pregnant, but when she finds out about an unconventional means to become pregnant she jumps for the chance. All she has to do is be a surrogate mother first. When Haven meets Kai, the attraction for him is immediate despite his somewhat stodgy personality, but now he's claiming she's his fated mate and she's not so sure how that makes her feel.

Enjoyed reading this addition to the series. Kai is very considerate and patient. Haven has some self doubt to work through and he fills that void. Love Oberon, the determination to find a happy place for this couple, as well as others, and the reliable, educational resources add light-heartedness and jovially. Great chemistry and instant attraction help ease them into their mate bond, love that concept, and how it works out in their sweet love story. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was another great entry for this incredibly enjoyable series. The author once again creates a read that is the perfect blend of fun and going right for your heart. I totally adored Kai and while I admit it took me a little bit to warm up to Haven, it wasn't too long before I was avidly rooting for this couple as I basked in The Feels and luxuriated in the swoon. I loved it and am eagerly awaiting book #3! I am posting an independent, impartial review.

Haven and Kai are complete opposites she is a free spirit and he has his life together and is goal oriented but they complement each other so. Oberon doesn’t have that much trouble getting them together but he does have a little bit of a problem getting Kai to put away his comms to concentrate on Haven. Will he be able to make Haven feel like she is the most important person before it is too late?

I enjoyed this fast paced alien romance story. Seeking a chance to have a child of her own, Haven agrees to participate as a surrogate for an alien race. Being easily entranced by adventure, she is woefully unprepared for this endeavor when she meets Kai. With the help of a rather sentient AI, Oberon, the two learn to understand one another, and eventually find that their paths are not so clearly different after all. Good read.

Haven and Kai

Haven wants a baby and she isn't able to conceive so she is going to be a surrogate for an alien. She also wants the freedom to be creative and fun. Kai's family business isn't doing well and he spends a lot of time working but he wants a baby of his own. So he pays for a surrogate. The clinic matches them and they have dates to get to know each other. Really good story and characters.

Haven wanted a child and followed her friend off planet to be a surrogate. The big problem? The instant attraction to her intended, and his promises of the future. But is it just a game? And when he keeps putting his work before her and their developing family? She doesn't know what to think. What she does know is their attraction is off the charts and the swoon worthy maltafian may be just what the doctor ordered. Another fabulous book in the Alien Surrogate Agency series by Tasha Black!

This is a well written steamy romance with a human and a very yummy Multaffian male. Haven decides to be a surrogate for a Multaffian named Kai and what she expects to receive is money and the ability to have more children when she gets back to Terra-58. The unexpected happens - they find love! And they have a baby and so much fun trying for that baby. This story has wonderful characters and a happily ever after!

Haven

Trying to get pregnant and not succeeding over and over again is getting Haven no where. She decided to try a new program where she becomes a surrogate to a alien male.
Kai wants a child to pass along his legacy so he decided to join the program for a surrogate. Instead of having a baby and leaving now they are mate bonded. What does that mean for them? Recommend this book and series.

A great beginning at the end to the character arcs

The characters start spicy, then lag, but in the end, they are in a place of new beginnings that I hope will eventually tie together with future books.

There are only a few typos, so it's not too distracting. This book seemed more formulaic than the first book and stuttered along in a few places like the author list the plot a couple times. Still an excellent holiday read.

Haven’s best friend, Piper (book 1) decides to travel and get matched with someone from another planet to become a surrogate, hoping the experience will somehow help her get pregnant afterward and finally start the family she’s always dreamed of. Wanting to support her, Haven quits her job and tags along for the ride.

This series is set in a fertility clinic and features a hilarious AI matchmaker who takes his job very seriously—like, fated mates-level serious. He’s not just out here matching people based on genetics, he’s playing Cupid with full heart and sass.

What I love is that each story feels totally unique. Yes, surrogacy and building a family are part of the theme, but every couple has their own vibe and journey. It’s sweet, funny, and just a little bit sci-fi in the best way.

Hopes and Dreams. A woman dreaming of babies and a man (with horns) hoping for an heir. Both find so much more. I love the AI named Oberon. He often steals the show. Romantic and fun, playful and possibilities. Bravo!
