Started strong, then fell flat.

The amount of time spent on explaining levels of strength felt wasteful. The introduction of the female characters had all the nuance of a ten pound sledge hammer. The main character, that had a lot of potential, became a one note trope. The story was lacking, it became a wandering mess with no clear direction. This has solid bones, but with muddled details and flat characters it was all wasted.

DNF. Couldnt take the whiny MC anymore.

So the Mc comes from a post apocalyptic world, in which Earth is overrun by abominations. Its a harsh world, where you have to fight monsters and other humans to survive. I hoped this meant the Mc would be decently adaptable to his new reality.

That was not the case. He is reckless and jumps into fights without thinking. At the same time he is also somehow a little b*tch. When he learns that the monsters in his new world aren’t unfeeling and unthinking, but more akin to animals, bhe whines about how cruel it is to kill them and how unfair life is. When he sees someone else who needs help he always needs to jump in and play hero without thinking. The first time this happens he is forced into a situation in which he has to kill the offender to save the victim and nearly kills himself and the woman he was trying to save because he was overwhelmed at the prospect of hurting someone else.

He even snapped at his spirit companion, as they really fought against their attackers, even tho he would have died without them. Disgusting.

Aside the poor protagonist, the story seems average. The first LI is introduced in unimaginative way and doesn’t seem very interesting. Worldbuilding and power-system don’t seem special either.

I hope this is entertaining. This was a strange book. It incorporates a lot of other plot devices into its' framework.

You have this "house" which you use to "house" entities, which gives you abilities and items, and use those said abilities and items to get stronger. Then it has a weird way it displayed the stats, like if the story is being told in third person.
I don't really understand.

I'm halfway through, will wait until the end to see if I will read the sequel or not. This turned out to have borrowed a lot from anime novels. How fights are described is giving anime vibes. At least no one is getting a "second wind" from the rage of being beat like a dog, or some stupid crap like that.

I am hesitantly going to read book two some point far into the future.

The development of the protagonist has me wanting to see how it grows. I just hope the author doesn't double down on this "friendship is magic" bullshit that is in all animes. He is already laying groundwork to make friendship overcome all.

I want to know how friendship would work with a harem.

MC is a moron that cries, complains, and says "Huh?" a lot. The LI's are introduced in a very unsubtle way, the author practically hits you over the head with the obvious setups. There is way too much time spent info dumping at first, and later on, most comes from the same character and loves repeating the same thing over and over again. The world building seems overly convoluted for a three book series, mc is isekai'd from a systemfall apocalypse, this is the second series from this author I've read and they are both double isekai's...

The MC gets a male friend that adds a lot to the series. I honestly not sure where this is going, are we going to the wider universe once the mc is done with this pseudo tower climber it's doing? or are we going back to earth, really not sure, but three books doesn't feel like enough. Hopefully the series continues.

Tried to read this the conventional way, didn't work for me, listening to the audiobook instead.

Great start!

I was pleasantly surprised by the artwork throughout the first few chapters, and was a little disappointed that they didn't continue through the whole book.

The story gets right to the action, but still took the time to tell the beginnings of the MC's story... Well, enough to give us enough to understand his motives.

For a novel with a harem element to it, I feel a bit shortchanged by the amount and detail of the sexy-time that was all crammed into the last couple chapters. It just seems to have been tacked on as an afterthought. I hope the author will integrate those types of scenes more evenly in future books in this series. It doesn't need to be a full on porn story, but a certain amount wouldn't be out of character for a novel like this.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series!

Fun but weird system

For the most part I enjoyed this book. However I did find the system a bit weird. Every book in that genre obviously has a slightly different system but this one is a bit more unique. The characters are decent. The sexy time is minimal and the progression is acceptable. I look forward to reading the second book but hopefully I can get a handle on the system a little bit better I feel I'm slightly behind....

Much better than I expected

Unique mechanic for leveling, engrossing story, plucky hero with issues, maidens, shy warriors in scantily clad armor and a talking snake. Multiple villains and a realm actively trying to kill them. Me likes and likes alot. Very FTB may not be for those that are looking for more adult content. But I enjoyed it.

Fantastic

Gave this a try, and the initial hook was simply outstanding. It slowed down a little to give just enough world setting to make sense. About midway it took off like a rocket. Though will say for a harem book, it was not so much. Enjoyed and look forward to seeing where this goes.

Very worth the time check it out

Rize , I hope with your second book. I hope the character Progresses pass his wishy washy stage In mans up. The plot was great ,but hated how the MC started out. He was better at the end but still needs to be more of an alpha, but I hope you work on that

I loved this book.

This book was a very pleasant surprise as I immediately got interested in the book and did not want to put it down. The character development was very interesting and the world building definitely has me intrigued to see what else is in store for us in the future.

Not very good

I really tried to like this book. I had to force myself to finish it. The main character was very un interesting and I did not care about him at all. The way his main companion talked got real annoying real quick. There were barely any stats and no real leveling. I'm sorry but this was just a terrible LITRPG book. Please avoid it at all costs.

This book was a refreshing surprise. It felt initially like the MC was going to go from nothing to OP, but that feeling was squashed fairly early on. He's powerful, but not to the brutally overpowered method that is so common to the genre.

The MC came from a dystopian future earth that was spiraling into oblivion when he dies a heroic death. He wakes up, and seeing he's been given another chance, decides to live life to the fullest. But he doesn't know the mechanics of this new world, leaving him confused and uncertain. This leads him to be sometimes wishy washy, which may pain readers wanting him to be the alpha and take charge of everything.

The harem members are diverse personalities, and things are slow to develop with some. There is very little intimate time, and it's mostly fade to black.

There were only a few typos; otherwise the book was well written and edited.

I look forward to the series continuing.
