Read for my toddler's bedtime. The little pumpkin and his brothers decided to scare other fruits for fun during Halloween but he's too cute to scare anybody. He found a magic bean and it scares others for him but he found out that he doesn't like to scare others the way his brothers do.
My toddler likes this story, especially the illustrations. She flips through it every night before bed. I must say, that bean grew up and it looks frightening! 😂

"Pum-Pum the Odd Pumpkin" is a good story for preschool children. The quick progression of the plot keeps little ones engaged throughout. Some of the characters appear a bit scary, which I suppose is intentional. I would love to read this before nap time, but I worry that those frightening characters might lead to some bad dreams.
