Gravity- Wilde Boys #1: 4.5-5 stars
Free Fall- Wilde Boys #2- 3.5-4 stars

I enjoyed both of these 'Wilde Boy' books by Sara Cate, but I have to say 'Gravity' is by far my favorite. I loved Allistare Wilde! Both books were super angsty, spicy, and I flew through them. Sara Cate is turning into an automatic one-click author for me.

What an emotional journey. I'm so glad I read this duet as one with nothing in between as it really helped the storyline. The growth of Nash in particular over the two books was outstanding. The feelings of grief, loss, inadequacy and regret rang through both books, often in unexpected places.

The messaging overall that there is no right answer to what is the perfect relationship for someone, sometimes it is letting someone go, and sometimes it is being in a committed triad.

Superbly well done!

what an emotional roller coaster

This book-2 book combination takes you on a wild ride of troubled people and complicated, complex relationships. Everyone gets a HEA, but it takes a long time to get there. I couldn’t stop reading!

Gravity: Zara’s twin died in a helicopter crash and ever since then she has been broken. Nash’s brother and Alistairs’s son was the driver of the helicopter and died as well. Broken pieces all around. Alistair “buys” Zara for 3 months to get Nash out of the funk he is in. Lines are crossed and blurred. A private island… yes. A hot dad who has been in love with Zara and she doesn’t know it… also yes. Spice… you bet your ass there is. Did not see the Emma twist coming. Fight for what you want… even with your son because love is worth it. 4/5

Free Fall: Nash has been on a spiral since his brother died in a helicopter accident. The girl he loved ended up, marrying his father. He went away to Amsterdam to find himself, and ended up being in a relationship with a man and ever since then he has been trying to figure life out while still in denial of everything he feels. Ellis wants what’s best for Nash. He loves hard and falls harder. Hanna was a ballerina until her mental health put her in the hospital. Her mother is a raging psychopath. together these three complete each other while also challenging each other to be the best that they can be. without one they cannot stand and their relationship crumbles. 4/5

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Story: 📖📖📖
Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶🌶
Spice Frequency: 💥💥💥💥

Gravity:
How do I always end up reading books about grief? Nevertheless I enjoyed this one! I think Sara Cate is incapable of writing a book I don't like. I will say I was hoping for more scenes of the 3 of them together, but Im satisfied with how the story went and the ending. The spicy scenes were, as always, well written and not repetitive!

Free Fall:
I was kind of bummed we didn't get another book with Zara as the FMC, but Hanna really grew on me throughout the book. I feel like this one gave me more of what I was wanting from the first book, with the addition of MM scenes. I loved the characters together and how Hanna and Ellis helped Nash start to heal from his trauma.

This was a rollercoaster of spice and angst. I enjoyed the first book a lot, Gravity, because of the tension and spice between Zara and Allistair. I could see the twist coming from a mile away and I don't think he groveled at all?! But overall, the spice was really good.

Free Fall was an interesting read. I saw a lot of reviews saying that they disliked this one in comparison to Gravity but I also felt that there was a lot more tenderness there. The connection between Hanna, Nash, and Ellis was really amazing to see build and the way they "played." I tend to avoid love triangle books, but Sara Cate created a world of pain and pleasure that was impossible to stop reading.

Exceptional

I don't know how this hasn't been made into movies yet. The moment I finished this series I wanted to read it again for the first time. These had me on an emotional roller coaster! Sara Cate is one of my favorites but the way she brought these characters and their anguish to life... That is top tier writing. I will forever be rooting for Nash's happiness. I know I'll be sitting around bored on a random Tuesday 10 years from now wondering how Nash is doing. Thank you, Sara Cate.

Second half is better than the first.

I adore Sara, and I love most of everything she's written - even when I don't exactly like the subject (parts of the relationship featured in the first half), she writes so well I can look past things and still enjoy what I'm reading.
This is essentially the fall and rise of Nash Wilde - and even though I didn't like him much in the first half, and found him too toxic for my tastes, I appreciate that he grew and learned to be better.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! REAL & RAW!

Finally a storyline that feels more like real life. The scattered bits of steamy saucy yet sweet love scenes that wrapped this into a brilliant story. A rendering of how grief can consume and destroy your soul if you don't let those who love you in. Great rewards require great sacrifice!

This book duo has everything: relatable and complex characters, angst, trauma recovery, love, spice, excellent writing, and more. I stumbled upon Gravity (Book 1) by accident and it (and Free Fall) became two of my top reads of 2021. In fact, I’ve reread both books numerous times at this point. Truly, Sara Cate has become one of my favorite authors!

Sara Cate really gave me hope, broke me, dangled hope again then destroyed me over and over again before putting me back together.

Fantastic duet.

I absolutely love the complicated relationships in each of these books. Sara Cate is a master at creating characters you bleed for. If you want romance to become completely invested in, grab this complete series here.
