The Hereafter
Change can be many it can be beautiful, necessary, awe-inspiring, difficult, delicate, heart-wrenching, as well as horrifying. But whether the consequences of change are good or the truth is, change is inevitable and one can either learn to accept the consequences or allow them to destroy oneself.
As the two characters, Victor, a young man burdened with an otherworldly nightmare, and Dexter, a middle-aged detective who happens upon the self-slaughter of his best friend Ken, begin to uncover the mysteries of an invading and malevolent dimension known as The Hereafter, they will discover the truth regarding the inevitability of change and that some things are meant to be. Throughout the novella, there are other tales of cosmic terror coming to haunt the unaware as the fabrics of The Known dimension and The Hereafter start to clash.
