Willa and Killian are back with even more danger, crazy family, and witches and vampires who want to take over the world.
I was given a ARC of the book, by the author, in exchange for my honest review. I also purchased the book. The second book starts right as Willa is introduced as King Ari daughter and there are vampires grumbling already and calling her names. Willa is called before the High Priestess to prove her power and her intent. Willa thinks “no” been there done that, no thank you. The witches High Priestess did like her before because her magic wasn’t present and forced her then boyfriend to leave her, she wasn’t good enough for her. Needless to say between the witches and vampires wanting complete power, Willa, Killian, and the King and their supporters, are all kept busy. In the end, does love conquer all? Could be? But magic is involved, so who’s knows. But for now, there’s another party to plan. Great job Stacey, keep up the hard work.
I am really enjoying this series. This is the second story in the series that follows Willa as she discovers her new powers. She has just discovered that she is a vampire/witch hybrid. Not only that, her father is the vampire king. Add in a new relationship and the threat of a war between the vampires and witches and this makes for a really great story. The twists and turns had me enthralled through the whole book. I loved Killian and Willa. They are just finding their way in their new romance and there is always something that happens that throw theme off track. Really hoping for more about all of these amazing characters!
I think I say this whenever I review a book with vampires, but it's always true...I don't love paranormal, but if there's a vampire, I'm in.
Add in pet dragons (lively to see you again, Ambrose) and I'm there for it.
Willa and Killian meet in the first book when Willa is a witch without powers running a bookstore for vampires in Charleston. Hooked yet? You should be (and if you haven't read the first in this series; what are you waiting for? )
Well, in this one, she's a vampire. And a witch. And a few other things tossed in to mean that pretty much everyone in the supernatural world is either frightened of her, wants something from her, or both.
This book isn't a standalone. It's a shorter novel that closes out some of the action in the 1st book while also moving us into the third title, as is often the case in trilogies where the one in the middle is in charge of doing just this. But it does it well. This isn't all exposition. There's character development, hints at things to come, and a really cute surprise that I won't spoil here.
I enjoyed this short visit with these characters and I'm looking forward to the next book.
It's finally time for book 2. I was so excited about it ever since I read book 1 and boy it did not disappoint.
We pick up right where we're left off and with Willa and Killian who are still very much in love, but danger is still out there and there are determined to end it once and for all. Ezra is still lurking and trying to take down her father, and now he has unexpected help which complicates things. But they're ready to fight and hopefully will be the last one standing.
The story was flowing effortlessly and I couldn't put it down until the end. But the story is still not over yet for these two and all they love, and I can't wait to see them coming out on top.

Wow, honestly all I can say is I’m super disappointed in this book. I really enjoyed the first book in the series - I remember it as a fun, interesting and easy read so I was looking forward to reading the next in the series. But boy did this sequel flop - honestly nothing happened in this book. All Willa did was talk about how she was a changed person (which hello obviously you are because you’re now half vamp/half witch) and how she didn’t want a war - but that’s all she did. Willa non-stopped yapped about the same topic so many times I just started skim reading because she was practically saying the same thing line by line. The whole plot line of this story led up to a scene that was so anti-climatic that it was painful. The action didn’t pick up until 90% of the way through and the big scene was over in genuinely like three sentences. I couldn’t believe it - this book was basically just a bunch of random fluff and filler and again I’m just really disappointed because I really enjoyed the first book in the series and this has just spoiled it for me. Unfortunately I do not think I’ll be reading the third. Lastly, the ebook copy I read was full of missing words or spelling/grammar errors - this book is meant to have an editor and agent. They need to do better because there was far too many errors in the ebook - it ruins the reader’s flow.
Stacey Kennedy’s Oh Fang! Is the second book in her Undead Ever After series. It is the fun paranormal continuing love story about Killian, Willa and their friends and families. This booked is truly entertaining.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Oh Fang! by Stacey Kennedy is a paranormal romance. It's the second book from the Undead Ever After series.
In the first book, Willa was magicless, exiled by her coven with no family. She had only two vampire friends and her dragon. In this one, she has found her magic, her family, her gemina flamma, and she was declared a vampire princess. Her quiet life has changed a lot and she tried to find balance but it was difficult with her uncle trying to kill them. Thankfully with her newfound magic, she helped her new family to destroy one of the biggest threats. Would they be happy after that or another enemy will pop up?
An excellent story. This one has more suspense and action than the previous one. There is character development and small progress in the plot. I loved how much Willa changed and how confident she became. My favorite parts were when she stood up for herself, the big fight, and the last scene with Ambrose.
I love this series and I can't wait to see what happens next. I will rate it with 4,5 stars.
Series: Undead Ever After #2 Rating: 3 stars - I liked it
This book picks up shortly after the end of the previous book. Willa von Stein is adjusting to now having magic, fangs, and a full size dragon. Willa and her family are also still hunting for her vampire uncle who is determined to destroy her and her family, and prevent them from changing things between the races.
Like the first book, I really liked Willa and her resilience to what has been happening to her. She is such a strong woman and she adapts to the situations that get thrown at her. I also really love seeing her lean on her friends and Killian when necessary because it is great that she has a strong support system, especially after being abandoned by the witches.
Willa and Killian’s relationship continues to grow stronger in this book. They are an official couple and are accepted by Willa’s parents and their friends, but the rest of the world still doesn’t know that they are bonded yet. I like that Kilian is respectful of her wishes to wait to announce their bonding because she is just too overwhelmed with everything that is happening. I really love Killian and how protective and respectful he is of Willa. They are just a great couple and I love seeing them deal with these situations together.
The battle against her uncle finally happens and it wasn’t what I was expecting because he had help. I was not expecting the person who was helping her uncle and it will be very interesting to see what will happen now that we know another villain is involved. This whole world of vampires and witches being enemies and all the different sides to it is very interesting. I will be very interested in seeing what happens next in this world and how peace is finally achieved.
Okay so finally Stacey Kennedy has released the second part of Willa and Killian's love story and it's an adventure you never saw coming. In more ways its like Twilight in all angles yet better. We have Willla, normal witch with no powers and then bam she is now a powerful vampire witch with powers that not even the most powerful vampire Ari, her father never knew. She is what the Coven Assembly calls unnatural, a phenomen one they should worry with how powerful she is now. Then we have Ezra, still in power mode wanting to rule the vampire world and take down his own brother Ari.Now this a battle worth seeing and have to say seeing Willa fight for her family, friends and for Killian was just wow. Their romance for sure was not written and yet in many ways seeing Killian with Willa just seems perfect. These two balance each other out, Willa brings out the softer side of him and Killian brings out the strength in her. Loved it and we see everybody again even a little surprise from the cutest little dragon ever. Loved it and no we wait for book three hopefully not to long. Great read!!
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review conclusions are my own."
This is the continuation of Willa von Stein’s story.
Willa von Stein thought that she was magicless. After a powerful spell broke a decades long curse, her once very safe, very quiet life was shattered. Now she’s not only a witch but also a vampire princess. ….seriously. Adjusting to her new set of fangs and impressive magic isn’t exactly easy when her vampire uncle is out to destroy her and her newfound family. In order to survive she’ll need to master her new powers and fast.
Willa isn’t alone she has her vampire boyfriend Killian Constantine and warden of Charleston. He may rule over the city but Willa rules his heart. He’ll do anything to protect her. Between riots, blood magic sorcery and supernatural unrest protecting Will and his city is becoming harder to do. In every shadow Willa and Killian find enemies new and old. Despite every precaution Willa becomes a pawn in a ruthless war. She will have to use mysterious and ancient magic. I liked this story but it wasn’t as spicy as the first one. Ambrose wasn’t in the story as much I would have liked. The ending was unexpected because it ended on a cliffhanger which I didn’t know about.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "OH FANG" This was such an entertaining story full of mystery, a crazy ex, threats, angst, magic, powers, steam, war, Vampires, Witches, Dragons, twists & surprises that make for an addicting read. Willa & Killian very much in love with each other she's a witch without magic, he's a Vampire hell do everything to protect her. Willa's magic appears making her a Vampire/Witch hybrid she gets called before the High Priestess to prove her powers & what she has in mind. When she finds out her father Ari is a Vampire King Willa, Killian he work together because there's a war with the Vampires & Witches wanting complete power putting them in danger. I definitely recommend to get this extremely well written story so much happens will Willa & Killian get their HEA will their love get them through what's up come you must get this book to see what happens. I'm so looking forward to the next book there's more of Willa & Killian to come, it can't come soon enough. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!
At first I had to get used to the new narrator of this book. It's a different narrator than book 1 which I had just finished, so it took some getting used to the new narrators voice, but she did a great job.
Willa and Killian's bond grows so strong and Willa really comes into her power. Her bond with her mom and dad gets stronger, too. We see the need that Willa and Killian have for each other and the overpowering love that they can't live without one another. Ezra is back in this one bringing the fight to Arie and Willa discovers a lot about herself and what she is capable of. There are enemies that make themselves known in this one and I can see book 3 coming and I can't wait!
This has been a great series. Short stories with the right amount of escape. The narrator did a great job telling the story.
Oh Fang! is a fabulous read. I loved this one so much. This picks up right where the first book What the Fang left off. Killian and Willa are just fantastic together. I love this bonded pair so much. Willa is reconnecting with her long lost parents as the spell once casted has been lifted. She is coming into her powers and learning how to be half witch and half vampire. Killian is her vampire match and ward to Charleston. He is just fantastic when it comes to his connection with Willa. I love them together so much. A vampire war is raging and Willa and Killian team together to put an end to it and find out who is behind it all. Surprises along the way will keep you glued to the pages. I could not get enough of this one. I love Killian and Willa together and cannot wait for more to come.
Stacey Kennedy appears writes excellent stories! Oh Fang did not disappoint. The exciting adventures continue for Willa and Killian in the second book in the Undead Ever After series. You really need to read What the Fang first to understand the background for this story. Willa is exploring her vampire and witch powers as the war with Ezra continues. Her love for Killian is growing, and she is enjoying getting to know her parents. I couldn’t put this story down. It has suspense, romance, a pet dragon, and an exciting plot. Don’t miss this book!
There's a few things I can say about this book: I NEED MORE!
I fell in love with the powerful heroine Willa turned out to be, she feels so deeply but is strong enough to do whatever needs to be done. But I want so much more! This is one of the rare times I can say I finished the book and was wondering how and why it was so short. Stacey Kennedy wove such a beautiful book with diverse characters, adding in bits and pieces that made me giggle and swoon and almost cry at the same time.
As soon as that next book is out for pre-order i will be ready!
4.5 Stars The second book in Undead Ever After, Oh Fang was an engaging read with unique characters and a intriguing storyline.
It is time for Willa to make her existence and heritage known. Can the Vampires accept her, will the witches see her as a threat and then there is Ezra. What will the future hold for Willa and Killian, and will they bond be sealed? Be sure to pick up your copy of OH FANG and find out! I loved this story and highly recommend, but don’t forget to read WHAT THE FANG first!!
Willa is stuck in the middle of two worlds. Will they destroy each other? Will she find her happily ever after with Killian? A must read. Very exciting.
I don’t know how she does it but book after book is a hit. I loved this book. Great story. It’s like an adventure and the ending was so very good. I loved the surprise with Ambrose!!!
