الترجمة في منتهى السوء

This little book carried me all the way to a dreamland from which I didn't want to come back. I was so thankful to my undying curiosity & love for Norse mythology which lead me to this.

Written in a storytelling style, this carries 20 stories from Norse folklore. There are stories about Asgard, Midgard, Jötunheim, Gods, the Bifrost, Frost giants, Elves, Dwarves, Griffins, Dragons, Mortals, maidens and their warfare, kings, long ships and voyages. Some are even illustrated. Imagine this. Sitting around a fire in a cold night listening to some elder telling stories about gods and dragons and fights and heroes.. Ah, that's what I felt all the way.

Indeed beautiful. I actually stole some time from work to finish it.

لا ادري هل مشكلة الكتاب هي الترجمة ام للكاتبة الاصلية كتب اخري في الاساطير الاسكندنافية وهذا الكتاب ملخص سريع لبعض القصص والنوادر

الكتاب مكون من مجموعة من الحكايات التي اغلبها ليس لة علاقة ببعضة لكنة يدور في العوالم الاسكندنافية القديمة وابطال مثل ثور واودين ولوكي لكن الحكايات مليئة بالتفاصيل الكثيرة ومكتوبة بشكل يشبة الملخصات الرخيصة
مما جعلني ابحث عن الكتاب الأصلي ووجدت ان فعلا عدد صفحاتة يقترب من عدد صفحات هذا الكتاب

الغريب ان اسم الكاتبة بالعربي علي الغلاف غير اسمها بالانجليزي مما جعلني لا أجد الكتاب بسهولة
ولا ادري لماذا لم يتم كتابة اسم العمل واسم الكاتبة بالإنجليزية داخل الكتاب كعادة دور النشر المحترمة لمن يريد البحث عن الكتاب الأصلي

1- يتناول الكتاب قصص الميثيلوجيا النوردية (الدول الاسكندنافية) ولم يتضح هذا الشيء لا في عنوان او غلاف او حتى خلف الكتاب
2-الترجمة سيئة جددداً، اتوقع تمت "ترجمتها" عن طريق مترجم قوقل ولم يتم التعديل عليها، لا ادري ماذا فعلت (نهى القاضي) لاكنها حتماً لم تترجم شيئا!
3- لا اعلم لماذا لم يتم توضيح العالم او انواع المخلوقات او بعض الاعتقادات، علماً بأن القارئ عربي ذو ثقافة عربية.
