This short story was HOT and just the right length to feel complete. While there was a lot of discussion about BDSM there was very little of it actually performed. You'll have to read this to understand why. This is the ultimate fantasy - reconnecting with someone older you had a terrible crush on as a teenager that now has an unusual career that your professional talents are needed for. She's still ridiculously attractive - and single - so perhaps now is your chance.
This was offered as a free book so if you're looking for something very sexy that you can not only knock out in an hour or less, but also use for perhaps three or four categories in Jae's 2022 Sapphic Book Bingo, I would definitely recommend it. There's nothing here out of most people's comfort zone.
I'll definitely be seeking out more of Ms. Scott's work after this read.

I enjoyed my first Ruby Scott book!
It was a very quick read—only 13 chapters—but a great introduction to Abby and Victoria’s story. Short, sweet, and engaging enough to leave me wanting more.
Excited to dive into the next book in the series, which is a fair bit longer!

I liked this novella a lot more than I expected to. For some reason (cover, blurb?) I expected this to be straightforward erotica without much substance. Its NOT. What I found was a nice little novella about the beginnings of a relationship, that contained surprisingly little spice and a lot more emotions, and conversations about boundaries and respect. It IS steamy in a lot of ways, but I wouldn’t call it smut in the slightest. This was a short and quick read, I enjoyed the entire thing, and now I want more.

On the flipside, I have literally nothing negative to say about this. I have no reason to take away any points, so I guess 5-stars it is.
Those secondary characters suck, but they were supposed to. 🤷♂️. I am intrigued to find out where this goes lmao.

Oh my word! What a scrumptious tease this book was. The build up was slow and sensual, leading up to a fabulous, steamy, erotic climax 😏. This short story certainly left me wanting more. Definitely recommend

What makes this story so sexy is the teasing insinuations and potential encounters. Lusting to become the submissive one leads to some steamy moments, but it’s not anywhere near hardcore. This worked for me because what actually happened could be anyone’s fantasy.

It was a cute short spicy book.
I don't have a lot of thoughts into this one somehow.
Abby is cute and Victoria is sort of an ice-queen that melted pretty fast seeing Abby after all those years. The support characters were awful, and i suspect that they will be important in the future which scares me but i'll give it a try to book 2.
Overall, it was decent and the chemistry is there. It's surely an easy read.

Ruby Scott just writes great stories. Her characters are engaging taking the reader to all kinds of interesting places. Her sense of humor is woven throughout the story giving her writing a unique flavor.

I pulled this HOT book off my TBR shelves! Oh my! Abby has had erotic dreams about her sisters' piano teacher for 17 years. Her friend and fellow photographer has called asking her to do a photo shoot for women's pleasure toys. When she gets there she's shocked, the woman she's working for is Victoria, her sisters' piano teacher.
Where the shoot is located is amazing, and has some features that Victoria has to tell her about. Victoria is a dom in BDSM, and Abby realizes she, herself is a sub wanting Victoria to be her mistress.
This is a short ,sultry, HOT age gap story!

I was expecting a quick and brief story. In fact, the relationship between Victoria and Abby took me a long time to get through.
It’s a wordy age-gap romance with some teacher-student background. They meet, sparks fly, and... If someone could tell me what this narrative is about, I'd be thankful. Abby is a professional, but I couldn't keep up with her as she went about her business. Victoria has changed careers, although I'm not sure what her domain is, and I shouldn't ask because her money allows her to rent a suite in a castle and hire a chauffeur.
As it is, a novella provides a concept or event to pique the reader's interest and allow them to enjoy the story in their own minds. May I call you mistress? does that indeed, but it's cut short just at the start of the enjoyment. There are some long flowing words, but they don't appear to express much.

Well, I read somewhere that if I like Anna Stone I would like this series of books a Fuck me they were right!

What a nice quick read. I care about the main characters, Victoria and Abby and their quick but perfect falling for each other. Maybe not so quick since Abby has been crushing on Victoria since she was 14 and Victoria gave her sister piano lessons. Did I mention hot? Did I mention this relationship is D/s? A well written bondage story is all neon green for me. I am becoming a big fan of Ruby Scott and her books. I recommend reading Victoria and Abby's story if you need a hot diversion in your day.

Good story line, but way too short.
I love the story idea, but I'm a little disappointed that it was so short. I find that there is a lack of well written lesfic bdsm themed fiction available, so I would love for this to have more to the story.
I will probably purchase the next in the series since I'm invested in the characters now. Even though it's short, I give it 5 stars for being engaging and we'll written, which is a pet peeve of mine. Nothing I hate more than poorly written or badly edited lesfic, or lesfic written by a man who only thinks he knows what he's writing about.
Anyway, the characters are fun and make me want to get to know them, so that's good. The exploration of bdsm is excellent without dropping into the overdone bdsm tropes. Even with Abby's overeager interest and wanting to jump in right away, it doesn't feel forced or fake.
It's a good read.

Mama mia! Yes. Everything about this book is a green light, even the meat pie!
I want to know all the things about these two MC's. I want to be a fly on the wall, or more apropos, a member of the audience on the other side of that glass whilst they learn about one another. This was such a beautiful glimpse into safe, sane, and consensual BDSM between two willing and explorative women. I loved it. The Domme is wonderful with her directives and her self-control, and her newly acquired submissive wants nothing more than to learn and serve. This is going to be a favorite series of mine and am looking forward to every books release:)

Well Ruby Scott has done it again. Her detailed writing has taken us to a place that was deliberately written to pull us in. The innocence of Abby and the power of Victoria made the story so much more interesting. The desires awakening in Abby by Victoria jumped off the pages. BDSM life was never so sensual and represented in such a positive way. There is so much more we want to see between Victoria and Abby. So excited for the next one.

The first book I read by Ruby Scott and it did not disappoint! I love reading about a softer Domme and her new submissive is just such a good girl ;) This book showed the exploratory side of a Domme and Sub seeking each other and getting to know one another.
Wonderfully written, sensual, sexy and sweet, all at the same time! Also one of my favourite tropes: age gap :)

A great book of erotic WLW romance, both MCs are impressive and very likable, the story is unique and very interesting, it is short but very addictive, after finishing it, I couldn't help but starting the next one " Darkness of desire" at once, a truly unforgettable and very sexy read indeed! In just a few weeks I am quickly becoming a big fun of Ruby Scott, I will highly recommend her great works.

Sweet awakening story
It's amazing what happens when two people find these right partner under there careful tutelage of a crafty writer.
There's isn't a lot of action until the end, definitely on the softer side, but the characters did only meet over a few days during book.
Can't wait to see hope their story evolves now that they've solidified their relationship.

This short story was reasonably well written and edited, and the story was really nicely done. The romance tropes in play are some of my favorites. My only complaint (and I deducted no stars for it) is the story was entirely too short. At the end, the author discusses plans for further shorts, and I would like to read about further adventures of Mistress Victoria and sub Abby.

I picked this one up based on a recommendation and I'm so glad that I did! This was so incredibly hot! I'm not really into BDSM personally but this still makes me drool. I wouldn't mind having a Victoria around telling me what to do... seriously, read this today! I can't wait to get into the next book in the series.

Good book
Abby couldn't believe is is taking pictures for a new line of adult toys and things, but the best part is she see her teenage crush Victoria. Victoria is in the business of Bsmd with her ex. Together they have a barn that has been upgraded to fit the needs for a private guess only place. Abby is intrigued but she wants nothing more then to be with her crush.
