Battling Broken Shadows

Rate this book
Have you ever had a really stupid idea and knew it was stupid but you did it, anyway? You know, like an—I’m so lonely I think I’ll turn myself in to the enemy so I’ll have someone except my imaginary friend to talk to—kind of stupid? No?… Just me?

I was an outcast… I couldn’t remember my past and didn’t know why, but I had been hiding from the warring factions of our collapsed society for so long; the isolation was driving me crazy.

I was hoping for an escape from my loneliness, but when that escape came in the form of a forbidden romance with a hot, sexy Capture Agent, who was I to complain?

Little did I know that my past would soon catch up to us. Shaken by the recovery of my memories, alter-ego, and true identity, our fragile love was suddenly threatened by secrets, suspicion, and betrayal.

The ERASEHER Series (a completed set of 5 romance books) tells the story of a protective alpha military man, and the rebellious eccentric heroine who captivates him.

Recommended for ages 18+ for sexual content.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My favorite book series! And that says a lot since I read romance every single day. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt like it was doing this author a disservice not to. I’ve never read anything that is as unique and fresh of the story line. It’s got so many twists and turns too, it was definitely easy to read. But what I love most—what has made me come back after 4 months and nearly 60 books later to actually make myself leave a written review— is the relationship between Kaleah and Jake. I absolutely love both the characters so much. Their relationship reminds me of the one between Clare and Jaime in Outlander (fav tv series) but the setting in the book is more like that of the Divergent series. Seriously this is the most unique (in a good way) romance book I’ve ever read. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. It’s outside the box for sure! Also, Jake is the most charming, protective, loving partner!! Talk about book boyfriends, I’m a bit obsessed.
