She stayed home during her heats, she avoided strangers and she relished in the safety of her human surroundings. As a packless Omega, the outside world was a dangerous place for her. She knew better.
Until last night when she foolishly agreed to pick up her friend's shift at the hospital. Who was she to know there would be a hot, wounded alpha right under her nose?
I’m tapping out on this one. Another book from the Galatea app. This actually consists of two books. *I finished book one.* I thought about reading the second book but the first book had 26 HOURS between each chapter (instead of all the other ones having 6 hours between chapters. Which is maddening.) That’s too much. Also, it really drags. It’s a great storyline but it just took too long to get where it needed to be. Olivia’s character development gave me whiplash. Alex had the patience of a saint. I loved Maya. She is a great friend to Olivia and it made me laugh how candid she was with her Alpha. Always intentionally getting on Alex’s nerves. I didn’t care for the quick addition of Lina at the end. Imo, The ending of book one seemed rushed.
I read what was there. Chapter 40 was the last chapter. I really did like the book. It made me laugh out loud and it also made me cry. I consider that a Good book but Alex did tend to control Olvia so he either didn't have to deal with her or he didn't think she should be involved. That became kind of annoying as she allowed it to continue. The only thing that really bugged me was the amount of inner dialogue that went on. I literally wanted to tell them to just shut up and move on.
Read on the Galatea app.. the book had promise. The storyline was good but was lacking in other areas. There was a lot of inner dialog and I ended up skim reading just to get to the point. Olivia was annoying and gave me whiplash. Didn't end up reading the second book 'Maya' as I wasn't really invested in the first one even though I loved her character. She loved baiting Alpha Alex which was too funny.
I enjoyed this book. Technically on the app it’s atleast two books and I haven’t read the second yet but I think GoodReads counts it as one. I’ve read ALOT of indie/ptr paranormal romance so I feel like it’s refreshing when the FMC isn’t a total doormat.
I will read the second and I’d recommend this book.
When I first started reading this book I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did. I am not really into the werewolf story lines but this book was different. It was like real life trauma’s with fantasy at the same time. I can’t really explain it. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was the way the story line draggggged.
Due libri, con protagonisti presenti in entrambi i libri. Mi è piaciuta molto la storia di entrambi, anche se quella del secondo libro non è proprio chiara...ma mi è comunque piaciuta molbo
Human turned werewolf who was isolated and taught to not trust alphas or packs because natural born didn't like created wolves. The love story that develops is well written.
