I shouldn't want him. He's older than me, he's a rough bar owning cowboy, dangerous.
But every time I'm near him I've never felt safer.
I've always been a good girl, following my parent's rules, church every Sunday, and good grades in school.
But when Jason walks into my life I'm willing to break every rule for him, only he won't let me.
This bad boy cowboy is conforming to my parent's rules proving he's worthy of me.
Until one of the guys at church start getting a little too pushy, trying to lay claim on me, stalking me, and spreading lies around the church.
Until this guy goes too far and I see a side of Jason I've never seen before, a side that could ruin everything.
This is a steamy cowboy romance and the fourth book in my Rock Springs Texas series. Each book can be read as a standalone but as always better together. Follow these 5 protective cowboys as they find their cowgirls.

I received an ARC of "The Cowboy and His Sweetheart" from the Author in return for a review.
Being a retired military and civilian clergy, I have seen the whole spectrum of what I have come to term, "Churchianity". Some readers may not like the term, one of my Seminary Profs certainly did not - but I got a good final grade anyway.
While the author chose the descriptor, "extremely conservative", to describe Ella's church environment, my gut reacted to the dynamic known as: "... straining the gnat and swallowing the camel". Judging others comes in so many forms and degrees in all of life. . . . not just the "religiosity" spectrum. In fairness, "judging" is not limited to people in religious groups - just one of which has been shown in this story. The "religiosity" of politics can even be worse. For some it is one in the same. All miss the mark, IMO.
The author, in this story, brilliantly showed that a person's strength of character and personal commitment to another can weather nearly any interpersonal and/or corporate adversity.
I was as encouraged by the development of Jason's really good 'servant spirit', as I was in the demonstration of honorably committed oversight as shown by Ella's parents. True humility and respectful obedience are as much keys to life as are determined and sensitive protection.
I sensed the onset of our couple's antagonist in his first conversation and reveled in the description of his downfall.
I did enjoy reading this "chapter" in the Rock Springs Texas Series, in part because I had lived in that part of "God's Country" for more than a few decades. While a fictitious location, my inner cowboy loved the descriptions of the places, activities and related to the good folks living there. I found my self hoping our author is planning some follow-up stories of Ella's family.
In sum - this was a heart warming story with an awesomely appropriate ending, from which I extrapolated a really good life together for those two. Perhaps the author will envision some of that for us, somewhere down the road.
This is a fantastic series that never fails to entertain. Each book can be read as a stand alone and has it's own HEA/HFN ending. The underlying story line is progressive but if you wanted to only read 1 or 2 in the series you can. But lets be honest, the series is so good, you do not want to do that. You want to read them all, in order to understand the small references of previous events in the book.
At first, I was not sure if I was going to like this book, just based on the blurb concerning family lifestyle, but I have loved all the other books, so I had to read it. This book was amazing in the details of portraying a different lifestyle that most of us are unfamiliar with. Sure I have heard of this, and actually it was nice to see it put into words that were amazingly entertaining. Along with romance, we had a bit of intrigue as well. For every up, there must be a down and it was handled nicely.
Super strong story line with fantastic characters. I hope since a new family is bring brought into the mix, that means that this series will be able to continue past Mac, since he is the last to be married. Great detailed descriptions, engaging and moving dialogue. Written as a 1st person, multi pov with a HEA ending.
Would I recommend this book:? Absolutely!
Would I read more from this author? Yes!

When Jason meets Ella at his sister's wedding, he knows she's the one. There are hurdles, though. Big hurdles. He owns a bar/restaurant in Texas. She lives with her ultra-religious parents in Tennessee. He shows that he's serious about her by agreeing to the conditions her parents set. She meets a new member at a church function, but he gives her the creeps. This is a really sweet book, my first read from this author, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Jason is a nice guy, from a good family, and it speaks well of his character that he's willing to abide by Ella's parents' rules for dating. Ella is a very sweet young woman, and she and Jason make a cute couple. I'm impressed that her parents are willing to overlook Jason being a bar owner because they see other good qualities in him. Besides a terrific romance, there's some suspense and action, and a whole lot of family love to go around.

I received an ARC of this book from the author, Kaci Rose, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I enjoyed reading this love story of Jason and Ella. Jason had to get permission from Ella's parents before he could even talk to her because of their strict religious beliefs. She couldn't talk to a boy on the phone unless someone from her family was listening. They could only go on a date with a chaperone and their first kiss would be at their wedding if their relationship went that far. Even though Jason was a handsome and rugged cowboy, he did what her parents required. When someone from Ella's church threatened her and her family, Jason did everything he could to protect them. Was he successful in protecting Ella and her family, and did he get to marry her? You will have to read the book to find out. I recommend this book.
Jason meets Ella at Sage and Colt’s wedding, and just as he has been told by his siblings, knows that she is the one for him straight away. Unfortunately, she has extremely religious and conservative parents and they live in a religious community which, it turns out, is not particularly tolerant. Jason owns a bar which does not endear him to Ella’s parents, but they agree to let him court her under strict supervision. Jason follows all their rules, and he and Ella fall in love, but once the community finds out he owns a bar Ella and her family are ostracised even though they have been pillars of the community for thirty years. This is another well written story from Kaci Rose, and I felt that the intolerance and jugdemental attitudes were well described and realistic. I have enjoyed all the books in this series so far, but I think this is my favourite.
Jason is enjoying the wedding of Sage. When he spots an angel and felt sure she was the one he had waited for his whole life. Sage knew the family and filled him on as to their beliefs. No alcohol, no kissing until married. Only side hugs. Cell service is set up for Ella texting which her parents shared. Eventually Ella was allowed to phone. She was not angry as to how they were. It was what their church members believed. An unsavory man tried to make connections. So Jason got a PI to find out what they could about Seth. We do get a wonderful ever after wedding. Fantastic story. Well worth your time to read. It is part of a wonderful set of stories, all well told. Thank you for writing such life stories.
Loving this story is it completely different in the way that Jason Has to date Ella. Her parents have one way of a courtship that has to be adhere. So, Jason is ok with it and he makes a plan to deal with it. They talk and text but the parents are on the text and listens to the conversations. Jason is proving that he can do as the parents ask. But someone want Ella for himself, and it is not Jason. Three guy is sneaky and dangerous, but no one knows this, and Jason hires a private investigator and oy does he find out a lot about this guy. The guy is going to far in pushing and telling things about her parents. How does it work out or the two will they get married or breakup over this other guy or will Jason save Ella for himself.
This is a new author for me so this is the first book I have read in this series. This story was beautifully told and had such wonderful characters. I loved the love and respect that shone through this story; Jason didn't live by the same beliefs that Ella's church did, but he showed respect in finding out about them and showed his love for Ella by vowing to follow them. This story is full of wonderful relationships and characters who made me want to be part of their family. I really want to read the previous books now and the future ones.

It was nice to return to Texas and read Jason and Ella's story. This book was a little different with Ella's religious beliefs which made for an interesting story since Jason owned a bar. The story was romantic, sweet, hot, and a little scary at one point due to another character.
I really liked the characters and the mystery surrounding the Seth which kept you reading to find out what would happen next. I also liked how both Jason and Ella were close to their families and the ranch where they will live sounds so beautiful, especially the house. I really am enjoying this series! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Jason and Ella are a really terrific couple and I could so easily relate to the dynamics in the book regarding the ultraconservative religious community that Ella was from. I liked how Jason was willing to accept the background Ella was from and how he readily showed respect for it to her and her parents. I also really liked how her parents were so willing to look below the surface to see the basic goodness and overall character that existed within Jason and did not view the fact that he owned a bar/restaurant as a reason to oppose the relationship for Ella.

Captivating from the first page. I couldnt read this novel fast enough, and yet the beautiful writing compelled me to slow down and experience every line. Kaci Rose has delivered another winner, leaving me breathless and awed with this tantalizing spin, ratcheting up the determination and passion, laying it out with ingenuity, style, fervor, intellect and unique insight for detail, melding this gem together sleek, shiny and tight. Be sure to read not only this book, but the entire series “Rock Springs Texas”. I received an advance reader copy of this book for an honest review.
Megan and Hunters wedding...magical. Jason never expected to find love as quick as he did when he set his eyes on Ella. They definitely had their own rough patches to go thru including her parents strict rules about dating and such. Throw in Seth the stalker scum-bucket...man he is evil. Kaci nailed this book too and her writing is incredible...the characters are so life-like. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Jason is the oldest of six children of which three are adopted. At his sister’s wedding, he meets Ella and they immediately fall in love. Ella’s family is extremely strict and follows very old traditions. Jason must adhere to them for him to be able to talk or court Ella. He feels that he can do it as she is what he’s been looking for all his life. His occupation and another man pose problems for the couple leading to a semi-intense situation.
Jason never expected to find love as quick as he did when he set his eyes on Ella. Jason is a bar-owner/cowboy and Ella comes a very conservative family that has strict rules and guidelines when it comes to dating. Jason and Ella's relationship is cute, adorable and it isn't forced. When someone from Ella's church threatens her and her family, Jason does everything he can possible do to protect them. I loved reading this book and I couldn't put it down once I started it. I can't wait for the next in this series to come out.
If you can't handle insta-love and need something more drawn out and angsty, go on and skip this one or don't get all bent out of shape when that's what this ends up being. If short, sweet/sexy is your jam, this book is right up your alley!
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story, which is tough to do in a shorter read.

First let me say that the overall story was well written and I enjoyed the chemistry between Jason and Ella. The book at its core was well thought out and it showed. I only have the complaint that I felt that I was missing things occasionally when things were referenced that I can only guess happened in previous books in this series. That being said, this book made me want to go back and read the other books so I could truly connect the dots.

Miss Rose did a phenomenal job wit Jason and Ella's story. I absolutely love this family and how caring they are to everyone. I was hooked from the beginning and wasn't sure what would happen next. Miss Rose did a fantastic job with explaining what the beliefs of Ella's family is and how they do things. This is definitely not your normal love story it's so much more. If you love romance with a little suspense and twist around every corner I highly recommend this read. It truly is a must read.

This is Ella and Jason's story and boy did he get into a pickle when he fell for her at first sight - such a super conservative family - and him owning a bar - NO WAY would they approve of him - he has his work cut out for him and what a rough road to get to their HEA - always a fun time with the previous characters included!!

This was a cute insta-love read for a cowboy who sees his "one" at his sister's wedding. The author threw in some suspense to make things more interesting. The book was written in my favorite dual POV format. That really helps me to connect and identify with the characters.
There is a sexy scene so I can only recommend this read to anyone over the age of 18.
Interesting book four in the Rock Springs Texas series! It is a well written, well-developed, consistent, engaging, and enjoyable solid read. The characters are amazing and come from different backgrounds and upbringing but really complemented each other. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from the series. A recommended read.

I loved this story as it's not your normal romance. They fall in love but her family is one where you using go out on your own together you have to have a chaperone. When texting or calling it is done as a family first and then slowly it goes to just one person . There is also no kissing or touching allowed until they are married. It was the hardest thing that either of them had to deal with due to there strong feelings for each other. But they did it and they are happily married now.
This book surprised me in a very good way. I didn’t really expect to like it, I thought the description sounded a bit tame and Jason was for me a bit of a throwaway character from the other books. But after reading only a few chapters I was reformed. Jason was so alpha and so respectful that I couldn’t help falling for him and wanting him to be with his Ella, who was just such a sweetheart and surprisingly not prudish.
This is Ella and Jason's love story he's the oldest child and owns the local bar, she's a church going good girl that's led a sheltered life and whose parents have old fashioned rules for courting, and a new church member that stalks her.
I would recommend this book and series to mature adults (sexual content) that enjoy stories that are at times laugh out loud funny, steamy, and romantic.
I have been having a bit of a reading delema, nothing really got my attention until this book. It was a lovely read, the writing kept me involved, the story was great and the characters were awesome. This was my first book in this series now I have to go and read the rest. I really liked how the author had Jason handle Ella and her family's religeous standing and beliefs with respect but was still himself.
Again. Another great book. Describing her background and the rules were completely unique. It was an interesting story line. Adding a nut case like Seth added a new twist which was exciting. Loved how they all get together to protect each other. Creative story with a great ending. On another note I have tried to get the extra free books but with no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. On to the next book.
Wonderful book with sweet virgin Ella and cowboy bar owner Jason. They meet at his sister's wedding and he is totally attracted to this sweet innocent girl. Ella comes from a very conservative family and someone from her church wants to court her but once she meets Jason she only wants him. Loved this sweet romance with great characters.
A sweet romance you can't help but get swept away with. Wonderful characters you love getting to know as you read their story. The story flows smoothly from beginning to end and does a good job keeping your interest. This is one of those that you wish didn't have to end.
