Parts of this book were helpful, but other parts not so much. Mac Lake writes for a church who has endless staff members, volunteers, and income. Some of the stuff in here is not at all feasible if you're running a ministry as a volunteer. My church is SBC and will be having its 20 year anniversary this coming weekend. We still do not have the resources we'd ideally need to achieve the goals in this book.
Also I'm a little annoyed that there are "free" downloads mentioned in this book with a URL that just takes you to his multiply group page and no downloads. Would love that goal setting template but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lots of great practical stuff here. Not too deep but also not incredibly detailed. The real challenge is putting the material to work. Every bit continues to sharpen how I do what I do. I’m thankful for that.
