ambitious space adventure
Action packed science fiction adventure. Some interesting ideas about near light travel and spacecraft design, futuristic weapons. Mostly character driven storyline combining age old conflicts like religion, class status and hegemony vs free society and there are pirates

Good sci fi adventure
I admit I had trouble liking the main characters in the beginning, but they grew on me. The worldbuilding is a little grim, the body count is high, and there are many battles for those who like them. The story is exciting.
