All four books from the End of Days series is contained within - Still of the Night, Tainted Love, Enter Sandman, and Highway to Hell.Book 1 - Still of The The seals are cracking. Hell will follow after, and I'm caught in the middle.
Everyone says I'm cursed. My father would've used the word evil. That's his excuse for being so strict, at any rate. Little does he know how right he is. I might look like a good girl on the outside, but deep down I'm really not.
I carry the mark on my hand to prove it.Book 2 - Tainted Hell doesn't just follow me. It's a part of me - the most powerful one.
When I called my father evil, I had no clue how true that was. For years, he's abused me. He had his reasons, but that doesn't make it any better. In truth, it makes me terrified of what I'll become.
I'm an abomination.Book 3 - Enter Half demon, half human, with the power of all five elements, I can make a difference.
The Order of Martyrs thinks my magic is evil. My quad trusts that I'm good. The truth is that I'm a little of both. Caught in the middle, I'm just trying to figure out who I really am.
The problem is that I don't honestly know.Book 4 - Highway to The bad guys don't trust us. The good ones want to kill us. Stuck in the middle, this will be our last stand. It feels like everyone wants to make us the villains, so fine - they can do that. I just don't feel like I'm evil. I managed to find love, and for the first time in years, I have people around me that I can actually call a real family.
They're the only thing I have left to lose.
The complete End of Days series contains 587,000 words, and is a slow-burn, paranormal romance. There are some situations that may be sensitive for some readers, please check the Sensitivity Warning at the beginning of the book for specific details.
This is a joint writing project between Auryn Hadley and Kitty Cox, we've teamed up under a combined pseudonym, Cerise Cole.
Cerise Cole is the pseudonym for the combined efforts of Kitty Cox and Auryn Hadley. After writing the Gamer Girls series together, the pair decided to join forces on a more permanent basis.
Kitty and Auryn are best friends in both real life and the literary kind. Living in Texas, they come up with their next crazy book idea while riding horses or drinking margaritas and martinis. Together, they combined Auryn's world building with Kitty's character depth to create stories that you will not forget.
I fell in love with this world from the first chapter and couldn't put these books down. I'm glad I didn't find the series until it was complete becuase I know I would have been so impatient waiting for the next book. While this series ends there are wnoigh questions left that are multiple options for spin offs which I can't wait to read.
Wow! Exciting. Engaging with great world building and well rounded characters.
What can you say after that rollercoaster of a ride! Between Kitty and Auryn coming together as Cerise to create this series they have definitely built characters and a world to be lost in. I devoured this series.
You have a badass FMC in Jess with 4 guys who are devoted to her and back her up despite the odds being heavily stacked against them. In a world of demons and cambiens, angels and nephilim, witches, wraiths and Cernnunos - the God of nature and chaos along with his devas (nature spirits) they all have to overcome their inherent difference against the supposed good guys - The Order of Martyrs.
The story started out with a bang. I'm a bit of a sucker for the girl who doesn't realize that she isn't quite human. Her dad is an ass, her boyfriend is a jerk. She gets a new step mother and step brother. I liked the first two books and Jess growing into herself and her powers. I liked the guys and that they had distinct personalities. Not sure if I just shouldn't have binge read the series but my interest started slowing down toward the last half of the third book. I set the series aside for a bit and then just powered through the fourth book to see how it all ended.
I love the character development that we see in these 4 books! I miss the characters as I leave this story and wish there was a bonus epilogue or another chapter in the future. Thank you for an amazing series written by my favorite authors!! You are great together and separate!!
Somehow I got sucked right into this story right away. Absolutely love finding stories that do that to me. Definitely worth buying the bundle of this series and I can see myself re-reading it.
Such a great story, great writing where you are very invested in all the characters. Jess is a very powerful abomination with 4 men to love and help her conquer the world. Great series.
I felt like it stalled in some parts, conversations were a bit repetitive but overall a good read. Where’s the follow up book? It was meant to be out in 22?
