Felicity's to-do list: feed the cats; help a friend in crisis; and save the world. Again. A cat lady in her prime...Former middle school English teacher Felicity Cheshire stunned everyone when she battled back an ancient god of chaos and saved humanity from destruction. All she wants now is to curl up in the sunshine and grab a well-deserved nap with her rescue cats.
A malfunctioning piece of mystical jewelry...When the gold and sapphire necklace that started all her troubles won't release from her throat, it's clear the danger is far from over. Worse still, her warrior priest trainer is stuck on earth and experiencing a midlife crisis two millennia in the making.
And a world on the brink...Felicity and her Goddess Posse of BFFs learn they must hunt down and defeat a horrifying new foe. On the way, they must deal with gray roots, swollen ankles, an unfortunate hickey, and an Airstream full of cats. Felicity may be stronger and wiser this time around, but she’s sticking with one hard and fast rule: no sit-ups.

When life is hard and sad, there is nothing better than some good escapist fun featuring a “goddess posse” of strong (mostly) middle-aged women kicking some evil ass, with laugh out loud humor and sizzling romance and an Airstream trailer full of cats along the way. Oh, and did I mention the sexy mystical Egyptian warrior bound to the service of the goddess Bastet who can also appear as a cat? CATASTROPHE is Book Two of the Cat Lady Chronicles – you’ll want to start with Book One – CATALYST. Down with Apep! Up with the goddess posse!
Book 2 picks up with Felicity, the cancer-surviving former teacher and her oddball assortment of heroines right after completing their mission where they’ve hopefully saved the world, find there’s more work to do. Every adult female and every cat lover will adore this series and this book. Can be read as a standalone but better as the series; a must read.
The second book of the Catwoman’s Chronicles was not disappointing! It had all the fun, adventure and romance of the first book. Great continuation of the story and revisiting the characters. It will be hard to wait patiently for book three!!
Following The Cat Lady Chronicles Book one, CATALYST, our heroine must save the world again. There are plenty of cats, out of shape Women, Evil bad guys, mid-life crisis surprises, adventures, a little lust or romance and plenty of laughter. Pick up #1 and #2 because both are great reads and both on KU!
What a lovely Valentines release. First, it’s fabulous that Felicity is NOT a young cutesy shapely chick with ways of knowing all things; she’s down to-earth and normal- she hates doing sit-ups. So when her rag-tag gang sets out, again, to save the world, you know there’s going to be slapstick humor and wacky stuff that pops up. YES indeed this and book 1 are must reads.
