To be honest I scan read this to pick out pieces of interest, specific areas of architecture that I related to and of course assessed all images. The text will now go on my shelf as a reference book with a list of buildings I’d like to revisit and visit for the first time in particular some older buildings in Melbourne and some of the Siedler buildings and various other structures with elements where there has been a significant change in architecture in Australia or has had a major influence. A good reference text.

Great insight into the history of architecture in Australia. The extensive research and journey into who's who with the timeline is remarkable. A complete understanding of Australian built form.
Perhaps not enough photographic examples of the hundreds of architects referenced throughout. However with Google searches adjacent to the read, this book could last a while and give you great architects knowledge of Australia.
