Desperation led me into the hands of a savage.
I should never have considered auctioning my virginity.

The kind of men likely to bid are the type you never want to meet.

Dark, twisted, and dangerous.

Malachy is no exception.

He buys me at the auction.

He takes me home and locks me away.

It turns out selling your virginity has an entirely different meaning to what I thought.

I expect one night, and then I'm free.

That's not the case when it comes to Malachy McCarthy.

I belong to him until he says so.

Nothing more than a toy to play with until he decides he's bored.

The man is a savage, and I'm his next meal.

I don't know if I'll come out at the end of this in one piece.

More importantly, I'm not sure I can keep my heart untouched.

Will this savage bend and break that as well?

Savage Daddy is the second book in the Boston Mafia Doms Series by Bianca Cole. This book has no cliffhanger and a happily ever after ending. This story has dark themes that may upset some people, hot scenes, and bad language. It features an over-the-top, twisted, and savage Irish mobster.

Squirming Like a Worm

4.5 stars - I was hooked on page one. I love a good v-auction. There's just something so naughty about it that appeals on many levels. Add in a rough alpha mafia boss who likes to be called Daddy? Nirvana!

"It's a warning sign. A sign that I shouldn't bid on her. Yet a deep, dark primal side of me knows I can't let another man touch her. She's mine already."
-- Malachy McCarthy

Everything about his relationship with Scarlett is different from everything beforehand. With her, he feels a need to be gentle, protective, and possessive. When he mixes that with his rougher side it makes me squirm more than a worm on a hook!

You don't need to read the earlier book, Milo and Aida's story, in the series to understand what's going on but if this type of storyline is up your alley, I'd recommend it.

One last note: there are some triggers in here - dubcon, child abuse (in various forms), plus some brutal beatings. Just putting that out there.

STORY:
I was eagerly awaiting Malachy’s story and I have to tell you, based on his introduction in book one, I thought he was a bit tame towards Scarlett most of the time (don’t judge me haha). It doesn’t mean I didn’t like their story because I did.

I get weak in the knees for virgins at auctions in need of money themes, and I love how this was done. Scarlett needed money to take care of her mother’s medical bills, enters virgin auction. Said auction, Malachy turns to mush the moment he sees Scarlett, enters a ridiculous amount of money paid for said virgin. Malachy was still a savage, especially towards any he deems a threat. With Scarlett, yes, he got a bit rough, but it’s not the same intensity I’ve seen him with others. He became possessive with Scarlett and refuse to let her go. Scarlett, I liked her. Her timidness compliments Malachy intensity with giving me a good read with their chemistry. We got some mafia action as well, and I enjoyed that the storyline from book 1 continues. I recommend reading book 1 as this will also connect with upcoming Book 3 in regard to characters.

CHEMISTRY:
Sexually, I can say I was satisfied with both Malachy and Scarlett. Malachy is dominant in the bedroom and it comes across. They do have their Daddy Dom theme, which I am not a fan of most of the times, but I really enjoy the way this author does it in her mafia stories. It’s not over powering that it turns you off from their scenes sex-capades.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
Milo and Aida made a few appearances and it was a little exciting seeing Malachy’s and Milo’s feud carried over.

Alicia - Malachy’s sister. I found her to be interesting. I wonder if we will see her again.

Niall - Malachy’s right hand man. Liked him even though I know he won’t have his own story.

Mikhail - Russian Mafia. Look forward to getting to know him more and his story.

OVERALL, I liked book two although I felt Malachy was a bit tame with Scarlett to me not everyone else. He was still dark and intense but expected more. Nevertheless, this did not stop me from enjoying the book.

✰✰TRIGGERS: Violence and talks of child abuse/ molestation.

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

Scarlett + Malachy

✔ Irish Mafia
✔ Selling Virginity
✔ Age Difference : Almost 16 years
✔ Daddy Kink
✔ Maniac H
✔ Dual POV

I'm confused honestly. It's like the Malachy we read in Cruel Daddy and the Malachy here were totally opposite of each other. So I have mixed feelings about him. He kicked Milo's ass again. WTF? I dunno whether to be happy for Malachy or disappointed at Milo. Since I can't let the fact go that he wanted to rape Aida and tortured her and who knows how many other women, I just couldn't feel anything for him. Disgusr? Maybe. I just couldn't bring myself to care. Why should I anyway?! I honestly couldn't believe myself when Scarlett didn't even confront Malachy for what he did to Aida. How could she be with a man like him? Heck, he didn't feel remorse or apologized for the way he behaved. And how can I root for the villain of the previous book after rooting for the hero of that book? It seemed a bit unfair. And that stupid war was driving me crazy as it didn't even have a deep reason behind the rivalry. Besides what the heck Milo did to every mafia dons that everyone was trying to take him down besides being an a**hole? Because as far I remember he didn't try to start the war. Others took the first step. Whatever! I'm so frustrated right now.

Anyway, I liked Malachy's sister. But not enough to read her book though. I might read the third book as it was the only reason I started reading this series in the first place. Sigh! I actually don't remember what else did I like. Maybe the way Malachy felt about Scarlett I guess.

I'm glad I didn't give up! I'm reading the box set, and now, I want to keep going. This book addressed all the problems I had with the previous one. Chemistry between the characters was much better. I appreciated the daddy dynamic much more here. I'm curious to read the next books!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy billionaire….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Scarlett is taking care of her mother or trying to and need money to pay for her medical bills but there is only so many hours in the day you can work any job and even then, it isn’t ever enough so she makes the decision to sell her innocence to pay for her mother’s medical bills. But no one told her a controlling, sexy, bossy, intensive, rough mafia man would be the one to buy her. From the moment Malachy lays eyes on Scarlett something shifts inside, and he knows no matter what he must have her and pays a ridiculous amount of money for her except he doesn’t let her know it won’t be just one night it will be until he tires of her. Scarlett hasn’t had an easy childhood or introduction into adulthood and Malachy hasn’t it easy either with the reasons for how/why he is the way he is, and Scarlett reaches past all of that to quiet the ghost he fights daily. So, what happens when emotional bonds weren’t on the menu, and attachments certainly weren’t supposed to form. But when love rears her beautiful head and throws yet another wrench into the works leading the two of them to an outcome neither expected.

As always, Bianca has written another great book! Absolutely loved Scarlett and Malachy, yeah, I may have hated the man in the beginning but of course as time went on the real man he is started to show through. The age difference was another great factor too, wasn’t expecting him to be as old as I find out but eh, he was hot!
Scarlett feeling the need to auction off her virginity to help pay for her mother’s medical bills and the loan shark just made my heart ache for her. She carried around so much weight about what was going on with her mom and her job that it just seemed like she was never going to get out. The virgin auction was perfect for her and I really liked how she made that connection with Malachy from across the room, before she was even getting bids placed on her.
Malachy, I’m not sure where I want to start with him. I was fearful for Scarlett in the beginning, with the way he talked about the virgins he would buy at those auctions. Knowing that he was a bare-knuckle fighter, ruthless and I had already had a taste of what he was capable of in the first book had me panicked for what Scarlett was getting herself into. It did ease up when he was describing how he was feeling a connection to her and that he didn’t have the urge to hurt her like the others but the need to want to protect.
I just hate how long it took for both to realize how they felt. Scarlett knew but I think she was just in denial for a good part of it, but Malachy was just not even seeing it. I would like to have had more of him noticing it and them being able to build a little bit more of a bond just because of the way he is and what had happened to him in his past. The fact that Scarlett had him questioning where he stood with her should have told him that he was falling in love with her even if he didn’t want to. I think after finding out what we did at the end (don’t want to give away any spoilers) that he will evolve into an even better man and be who Scarlett needs him to be even more. Loved the way their relationship was progressing.

Adored Malachy. The right amount of dominance and kink.

Malachy and Scarlett perfectly complement each other, with perfectly synced kinks and equally damaged childhoods. However, he really needed to concentrate more on his mafia family as it is leaking like a sieve. To think there was only one traitor was a bit daft
I adored Malachy from the beginning as he is the right mix of dominance, power and delicious kink. Also, I found it a bit hard to believe he'd go straight from needing a Master-Slave dynamic to Daddy Dom. He says he's going to introduce her to the darker side of BDSM but the only new thing he introduced was a spreader bar!! Hardly the darker side lol
Can't wait for the other main characters to tell their own stories in the next books.

This is the second book in the series, and it can be read as a standalone. Scarlett decides to sell her virginity thinking it was only for one night. Now Malachy has bought her, and he doesn’t plan on letting her go until he is finished with her. Fast paced read with loads of drama, steam and intense chemistry. Great characters and a sizzling story. I really liked it.

Karin - per RFS
.

Meh. It was okay.

Honestly Mal and Milo seem like the most idiotic mob bosses I’ve ever read. Makes it hard to enjoy when it’s just ridiculous.

I liked Scarlett for most of the book but kind of grew to dislike her at the end.

Mal… not much to like. His demeanor with her from the beginning was good. And him changing into a softer daddy dom for her was sweet. But he’s also an idiot. Like all of his plans against Milo were utter crap. Clearly Naill should be the boss since he actually has sense about him. I can’t like him after what he did to Aida both trying to blow her up and slicing her up. I can’t like him when he’s ignorant at the auction telling the Russians to speak English. I can’t like him when he suggests to try and take Aida again. I can’t like him when he knowingly brings her to the casino when it’s set to blow up.

I had hopes Milo wouldn’t get Scarlett and threatened the same crap but he does. Ugh. I didn’t like him during his book anyways but was hoping for a little bit better. Then he loses again ffs. How is Milo same big scary mob boss when all it seems he does is lose? 🤣

Not sure what to do about the rest of the series. It’s hard enough that age gaps aren’t always my favorite trope but the next book being Aida’s father… ugh. I mean I like when the villain gets the girl once in awhile but all these guys are assholes. How am I to like her dad after what he did to her? And honestly BFF’s dad is not a trope I ever enjoy. Gia already seems like an idiot to me and I haven’t even read the book.

Only one I’m slightly curious about is the last one. Alicia seems a bit dumb for my taste too and that’s a shame since it’s nice that she’s actually older. So rare to have a woman over 30 let alone one that’s late 30’s. UGH!

REVIEW:

I enjoyed this. I’m really liking this series. I like that they are mafia romance but lighter on the mafia polities and heavier on the romance. The mafia wars and whatnot are there, but not at the forefront of the story.

I liked both Malachy and Scarlett.

Like Aida (from “Cruel Daddy”), Scarlett has a quiet strength that I love. So I’m really liking how this author writes her heroines.

Malachy is much less cruel than Milo. He definitely is rough around the edges, but he’s actually a lot more decent towards Scarlett (compared to how Milo was towards Aida).

I thought they had some great chemistry and the sex was smokin hot.

So I’m still loving this series. Glad I found it. It’s definitely got the whole daddy kink going on. But lately I’ve been liking that more so I’m personally loving that about these.

Scarlett sold herself in a virgin auction as she desperately needed money to pay off a loan her mum had taken out from a loan shark. The money was to pay for her cancer treatment, but it still wasn’t enough. After being abused by her father as a little girl, intimacy and trust doesn’t come easy to Scarlett. She may be a talented dancer but she feels broken inside.
One night. Get it over with. Keep the money. Simple.
Malachy is the Don of the Boston Irish mafia. He’s in a war that has started with Milo, the Don of the Italian mafia, but he still needs to feed his dark, sexual urges. He loves to take innocent virgins and break them, sending them on their way when he’s bored. When he sees Scarlett he’s captivated. She’s stunningly beautiful with piercing blue eyes and long red hair. But he can see a darkness in her too. He doesn’t want to break her, he wants to protect her and their sexual chemistry is still giving him what he needs. While the war is raging, there’s just one thing on his mind. Scarlett. He wants to keep this one....
This is another book in the Boston mafia Don series and another brilliant read. Well written, captivating and gripping. The story picks up from where the earlier book finished, although it could also be read as a standalone. Fantastic.

This book has all the elements for a great dark romance and is written wonderfully. You will love Malachy and Scarlett, if you love dark mafia romances. There is suspense involving Malachy’s mafia family and his rivals. There is a darkness to Malachy because of his past. There is the sweet and innocent Scarlett who needs help. There is tons of steam between these two characters that gets better the longer they are together.

Scarlett needs financial help for her mom’s health so she answers an ad to sell her virginity. This is how she meets Malachy. He buys her and she’s lucky he did because some of the other buyers are sick puppies. Malachy has his own darkness that leads to some intense BDSM but Scarlett can hold her own with him.

Although he bought her virginity, he decided to keep her for more than one night. Scarlett isn’t sure when he’s going to let her go, and the longer they are together the more she wonders if she even wants him to. I liked Malachy’s sister and the friendship she offered Scarlett. It showed that there is something more between Malachy and Scarlett that he would let her get close to his sister, who means so much to him. The ending of this book is both sweet and steamy and is perfect for these two characters.

I enjoyed this book so much more than the first, i knew it was going to be a banger once i heard the synopsis. scarlett needed money to pay her moms medical bills so she goes to a auction and sells her virginity. Malachy wins the bid and scarlett ends up getting paid about 2.5million dollars.

After that the smut went absolutely crazy, this man was really dicking her down, they had like a daddy/little girl relationship as the book continued on and he tried a lot of bdsm stuff on her too. I also like how this book series introduces the characters so that we know all the the fmcs, like we know malachy’s sister alicia is getting and book and so out both of aida’s friends.

This book also had so much more plot, i don’t know what is the second book in a book, in a mafia series, but it always has more plot and sometimes i like it and sometimes i don’t, i liked it more in this one. The war between malachy and milo was so prevalent it was crazy. Malachy would be ducking fades and fighting left and right. That was actually a reason why at one point scarlett had to go stay with her mom and she found out she was pregnant!! overall this book was so good, i had a really good time, i’m so excited for the next book!!

4 stars. This series is so chaotic and dark. The heroes are sociopathic Mafia crime bosses with tragic back stories that cause them to be emotionally constipated. The heroines are badass and know how to go toe to toe with the hero. This one has BDSM. Slight age play. Daddy kink. Age gap. Again, some of my catnips. I’m having a blast honestly.

Malachy was an absolute monster in book one but he’s way softer in his relationship with Scarlett than Milo was with Aida. I honestly wasn’t expecting that at all. I was expecting that he was really going to really put her through the wringer but he didn’t. He took a liking to her immediately and wanted to protect her. He’s no angel because there were definitely some shit that he did that was terrible but for the most part there relationship was them mainly trying to overcome childhood traumas. Scarlett was a great heroine and I felt like she really balanced Malachy out. I loved that she called him out on his bullshit and kept him on his toes.

I’m so into this series and I cannot wait for book three to come out. It follows Aida’s father and her best friend, Gia. I’m super intrigued by how that is going to play out.

Not Impressed

TBH I’m working my way through my TBR list. This was added a few months ago after reading the first. Which quite honestly wasn’t super memorable. But I must have liked it to add this one to my list.

The story starts off very slow. It was very hard to turn the page. It fell very flat for me. I almost stopped reading at 51%, but I decided to give it a shot and try to finish. That was a mistake. Around I would say 60% the story tries to fly by. Everything starts to feel very rushed and it wasn’t well thought out. This is a huge issue with shorter books. It’s hard to have a slow build and then massive fireworks without missing a lot or just making the story feel rushed.

I will also say, I was not a fan of the kink used in this book. It felt very cringe worthy. Not necessarily the kink itself, but the way it was portrayed. There were several parts I only skimmed through so that it would be over faster.

Overall, I can honestly say this series will end here for me. I’m just not a fan. When I tell you it was very difficult to finish this book, I don’t think I actually read the whole epilogue at the end. I was just ready to have it done.

⭐2.5/5⭐
🌶️4/5🌶️

A very enjoyable read and I cannot wait to read the next in the series. This is the story of Malachy and Scarlett. She auctions her virginity and he buys it. A good interesting storyline and Malachy is unrepentant in his violence towards people who he believes are his enemies. This book has plenty of hot passion and is a good DD read. The characters in the supporting cast were brought to life very vividly adding to the tension and intrigue. Not everything went Malachy’s way which was a breath of fresh air and this made the story more interesting. Scarlett came across as a really sweet person until Malachy looked and touched her and then she went up in flames, which I can tell you she did quite often in this hot sexy tome. There is the next book to look forward to and as this is a mafia series we could see the same characters popping up. I do hope so.

Savage Daddy is the second book in Bianca Cole’s Boston Mafia Dom series. In this book, readers meet Scarlet and Malachy. She is sweet and he is a dark, vicious, and bad man. Both are emotionally wounded souls from events in their childhood. Desperate to secure funds for her mother’s cancer treatments, Scarlet enters an auction of virgins. She is given to the highest bidder, Malachy, head of the Irish Boston Mafia. This one decision throws into the dark, criminal mafia world. Can she survive? What becomes of them?

Ms. Cole does an exceptional job in this romantic suspense novel. She successfully merges a romance and the life of the criminal world. Her lead characters are complex. I enjoyed how Scarlet, and Malachy combat their personal demons. I enjoyed her use of dual POV to let readers’ see their vulnerabilities and strengths. Her use of descriptive language paints vivid scenes. The incident in the casino was nail-biting. Well done, Ms. Fox!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Boston Mafia Doms series and is about Malachy and Scarlett. These two meet when he buys her from a virgin auction. Scarlett thought it was the only way out of her money problems. Needless to say that it just opened up a whole new set of problems. He is a brutal man to everyone but her. She touched something in him that brought out his Daddy Dom side. These two are opposite in so many ways but fit together nicely. He is very protective of her and with the family problems he needs to be. I think that this story is well written with great characters. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series also

This is my first Bianca Cole book and I was not disappointed. You do not need to read book 1 to enjoy this book. I didn't and I didn't feel anything missing.

It's dark, full of steam, and there's something about Malachy that just pulls you in, even though there's no doubt he's dangerous. It starts at a v-auction and the attraction between Mal and Scarlett is instant. There's an undertone of danger running all the way through this story. It set me on edge and I loved it.

There is dub con and DD/lg themes here, and I normally don't go for the DD style books, but it actually fit in with their dynamic quite well.

As their relationship goes from a business transaction to actually falling for each other, I really appreciated Scarlett's confusion. And when all is said and done, she's tamed her Alpha Irish Don as much as he's done to her.

This book is filled with passion, intense scenes of BDSM and hot/spicy relationships between Scarlett & Malachy! Scarlett has no choice but to sell her V-card at an auction heard to bring the participants a load of cash. She has to take care of her mom and this is the only thing she has to offer that will bring this kind of reward. What she didn't expect was that the man who bought is Malachy, a ruthless Don who has some very dark desires in the bedroom. She knows a little bit about sex but nothing prepares her for the needs and wants of Malachy.

This book is filled with passion, lust, desire, need, and in the end love. Their story will leave you wanting more and you will love the chemistry between these two when they finally give in to their needs and wants. This book will keep you entertained and enthralled from start to finish. Happy Reading!

4.5⭐s!!!

I really loved this book! It was so f.cking hot and steamy. Damn it was good. I felt like before i knew it I was already at the ending. It ended too quick and i dont know whats going on with the Italians. I hope we get the info in the next book. Another thing that i didn't like (its more of a pet peeve) is there were quite a few typos and and errors. In one chapter it was supposed to be from Malachy pov but then it would go to Scarletts when it wasn't supposed to. And there would be extra words in a sentence that wasnt suppose to be there. I had to reread the sentence a couple times to make sense of it. If this book went through another edit it would be a 5 star book no questions asked.

So we new from the last book that Malachy had some dark twisted parts to him and this was carried through in this book. However once he purchased Scarlett, we got to explore the reasons why he was this way with the introduction of his sister Alicia. Loved the sizzling love scenes, with the BDSM and introduction to “Daddy” in the story. Lots of tension and ongoing war with the Italians/Milo.
Felt like there was some pieces of the story that were left hanging which could have been finished off, not sure if that was done on purpose for the next book. Overall a good story, looking forward to the next book.

This is the second book in the series. These stories are connected enough that I would recommend reading them in order. Like the last this one sizzles! Also remember this is a mafia story with BDSM so it’s more of a dark romance. We have drama not only with our main characters but continued (worsening) tension between the mob factions.

I felt the story could have been tied up a bit better. I understand wanting to leave things open for the next book, keep us readers invested and eagerly awaiting the next, still wish I wasn’t left with questions.
