I made it to 51 percent
This mafia alpha is as skilled as a 12 year old boy. The silliest mafia story ever. Not to mention the sick sex scenes. Nothing close to romance. No way can I finish this ridiculous book.

The characters weren’t awful but i never connected with them. Plot line was rather idiotic and all over the place. But it wasn’t the worst book I ever read. Just a forgettable one

Violent Leader is book two in the Chicago Mafia Dons Series. A Dark Captive Enemies-to-Lovers Captive Mafia Romance. It's a pulse-pounding action packed story that keeps you riveted and on the edge of their seat. The story is revenge driven, dramatic and features a dark twisted Irish mob boss who takes what he wants regardless of the consequences. Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone. It has no cliffhanger and it guarantees a HEA. This book contains kidnapping and dark themes and triggers that may be upsetting to other's, danger, violence, hatred, lies, betrayal, pawn, enemies, secrets, loss, passion, rivalry, mole, and whole lotta steam. Rourke Callaghan is oldest son of Callaghan Clan and now the joint leader with Killian for the family since the recent passing of is dad.
Rourke believes that the Pakhan of Volkov Bratva Sparktak is responsible for the death of his father and plans to use his daughter Viktoria Volkov against for his revenge. They say that the sins of the father are visited upon the children and Viktoria will certainly pay for her father's sins. There are talks of alliance between the Volkov Bratva and one of the other Bratva families in Moscow and Spartak plans to use his virgin mafia princess and marry her off for more power to a powerful Oligarch's son. But Rourke plans to blow those plans to hell by kidnapping the princess, defile her, break her, and make her his, leaving her as a shell of woman then return her to her father. A riveting Mafia and Dons action filled romance, captivating and enjoyable
This has been a wonderful read and from the very start and the murder of Rourke, Killian and Kieran and their sister Maeve father by Viktoria Volkov’s father and they had set a plan in action to get revenge they would kidnap the Russian Mafia Princess, the daughter of the Pakhaan Spartek Volkov.
Viktoria had been brought up knowing that she was only as good as her worth to her father and the alliances she was able to bring to their family by marriage, she had to remain pure and aloof and had to keep secrets from friends who know nothing about her true family.
When she is kidnapped by Rourke Callaghan and she knows that there is an instant attraction between them, she knows that she has to escape before anything can happen as her worth to her family will be lost if she loses her virginity, in fact it is quite possible her own father would kill her as she would be no use to him anymore.
As Rourkes family and the Irish Clans business is coming under a great deal of duress by the Russians and their associates, they are also having drug drops stolen and there is a mole in their own house and must find out who they are. Everything seems to be coming to a head and it is apparent that Viki’s father is determined to cause as much damage as possible.
The solution is something that not even his own family could have guessed, then he is carrying a very closely guarded secret about how he feels about this woman and must ensure he guards this secret. Her father is not going to be happy when he gets the news, she will move to the top of Sparteks hitlist.
Read this amazing story and I assure that like myself you will find it impossible to put this book down until you reach the end of the book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Rourke has ascended to the throne of the Callaghan Crime family, after the death of this father at the hands of the Volkov Bratva. They are now at war with them and he wants to make Spartak pay personally. He going to abduct his daughter and break her, give her back damaged He does not count on how she makes his blood boil, and that he will never want to part with her.
Viktoria is told by her father not to go to the party, when she argue he locks her in the dungeon for two hours. She goes to the party anyway, she see this gorgeous man, she puts him and he keeps coming back around. When she is abducted by him, she finds out he is a Callaghan and that her father was right about the danger.
This book is fast paced romantic suspense with dark undertones. Rourke and Viki have such chemistry between them which leads to some really hot erotic scenes. Violent Leader is the second book in the Callaghan Clan Series and is a stand alone. I would suggest you read Merciless Defender first as there are some events that transpire that are not divulged in this book. I cannot wait for Viki's brother book, Evil Prince.

Originality please! I am always on the hunt for the author who can take a genre that is overwritten and repetitious in nature and make it there's. Unfortunately, for this story, that wasn't the case.
The story was okay but was a text-book revenge, enemies to lovers story. Rourke the anti-hero takes out his revenge on an innocent party (Bianca) instead of manning up and taking out the person who he believes actually killed his father, aka her father. If you are going to write a plot and storyline that is constantly being written over and over then you need to "add something intriguing" to the story whether it be the characters or the events or an unfolding plot that keeps the reader engaged. Rourke's character was no more twisted or dark than any of his counterparts in this series. I read this genre more than most people and therefore require more than "read and repeat" from authors who publish books in the genre. I have read some of the other stories associated with Chicago Dons that had a "got ya" or something intriguing that were more enjoyable.
I didn't engage or connect with either character nor was the plot or story substantially different than what I have read from previous reads. The story wasn't terrible, just nothing special.

This book was a captivating story of revenge, Rouke had not expected to feel such a strong desire for his captive or that she would respond so beautifully to his punishments. As time passed he realized that he was as much her captive as she was his. I enjoyed this book, the steamy scenes and the growing attraction between the two made exciting and rewarding reading.

Book 2 continues in the Chicago Don Series by Bianca Cole by telling Rourke & Viktoria's story. Rourke is now the leader of the Callaghan Clan after his father's death. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders but he will not let Chicago be taking over by the Russians/Bratva and he knows what he will do to ensure that never happens. He is going to take Viktoria the Bratva Princess and make her his! He needs and wants her to be his and he knows her father will try and stop them but he is counting on that. Viki is drawn to Rourke and knows that they shouldn't be together but the pull she feels in something she can't and won't stop. When they are together it is explosive and extremely sexy. This book will have you laughing, jumping for joy, on the edge of your seat, and rejoicing all in a few chapters. This another amazing addition to this series. You will not be disappointed. I love the dark mafia novels and the author who is new to me has presented a beautiful story with this story. This story will keep you glued to your book from start to finish, so much so that I had a hard time putting it down.
After his father's death, Rourke becomes head of his Irish mob family. Taking revenge for his father, he kidnaps the daughter of the Bratvas Viktoria Volkov. Will he send her back if he has broken, or will he keep her?
Nothing is what it seems, things don't go as planned and it is full of bumps and roads.
It's all about suspense, drama, action, danger, not to mention the hot and steamy scenes. I really enjoyed this book and this author, I will definitely be reading more of her books.

The second in the Chicago Mafia Dons this story is the eldest son and new leader (now that his father is dead) of the Callaghan Clan, Rourke and the daughter of his enemy, Viktoria Volkov. Rourke believes her father killed his and he decides to steal her as revenge. A pretty typical story ensues with her fighting him, him taunting her that she likes it, her trying to escape and him punishing and then, well you know. There is a slight twist in this story that if you've read the first book you know and if you didn't I won't give away here. Needless to say I wondering where and how this will end up. Especially seeing where this author is taking the series with the next book. I don't have good thoughts about Maxim, so I'm wondering how she's going to redeem him.

Bianca Cole once again captures the darkness and intrigue of the setting she paints. After their father is killed Rourke steps into power with a plan for revenge that is as twisted as it is dark. Kidnapping the daughter of his enemy and perverting her before returning her as a damaged used shell. Things don't go quite to plan when he meets her though.
These characters are as compelling as they are twisted and you'll find yourself forgiving injustice in favour of the relationship and the happiness and healing it has the potential of bringing. Readers will be hard-pressed to put this quick read down, I devoured it in one setting.

If you like hot heavy and dirty this book is definitely for you Rourke Callaghan is a ruthless Irish Clan leader and after the murder of his father is out for revenge against the Chicago Russian Bratva whom he believes committed the murder. He kidnaps the Bratva princess Viktoria Volkov intending to use her and return her broken to her father but things don't quite turn out that way one look at her and he is hooked. There is a war raging in Chicago's underground world but all he can think about is her and making her his she is feisty and doesn't give in easily but their chemistry is potent. This is a hot and heavy book if you like ruthless Alpha males and tough feisty females this is a book for you but not for the faint hearted.

Viktoria is a means to an end. After their father is murdered they seek revenge. Best made plans and all that. This has all the good mafia action. There is violence, murder, revenge and romance in a twisted sort of way. The characters are strong and wonderful. Viktoria is just a pawn to her father and it could get ugly with her father. This is just a great book. Just wonderful on the edge of your seat story.

This is a captivating story once you start you're hooked by the battle between the need for revenge or doing your familial duty and they both tug against what the heart wants. We have complex characters in Rourke and Viktoria as well as drama,tension and some intense emotion woven throughout and the steamy parts balanced very well with the dark parts the author did a great job with this. This was a fantastic book that I highly recommend reading!

Not sure how this book faired against the other one. I wasn't really a fan of Viktoria she tried to act tough against Rourke with her words yet would always back down to a blubbering mess once touched by Rourke it got a bit tiresome after a while as well as her naive view on her family and just how dangerous her father can be. This war really has got out of hand I just hope it doesnt come back to bite anyone in the behind can't wait to read the next as Maxim is supposably a very hard/violent man or is he just a victim of his father as well.

This quickly grabbed me and kept me captivated. This book is well written and offers a tension filled story and complex characters. I loved the battle that was waged between familial duty and the need for revenge and desire and the pull of what the heart wants. Tension, drama, intense emotion, steam and rich darkness are skillfully woven throughout this book and made me eager to snatch every extra moment I could to squeeze in a few more pages. I'm posting an unbiased, unsolicited review.

Rourke is out for revenge for his father's murder so he kidnaps Viktoria, the daughter of the man ge believes ordered the murder. Viktoria was raised by a narcissistic man and she fights Rourke all the way but soon finds there is a thin ice between love and hate. Great book. It is dark and twisted and I loved it.

Since the Callaghan's are convinces that the Volkov bratva are responsible for killing their leader they must retaliate. Rourke plans to steal the Volkov princess, Viktoria, sully her so she is no longer useful to her father and then return her broken and used. This was my first book by Bianca and I will say after this one I must read more for her. It was such a great book. Wonderful writing and keeps you well engaged. A definite page turner with Viktoria in the midst of being kidnapped by Rouke who realizes that he wants her.

Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth, twists and turns and sizzling chemistry. I loved it.

This story did such a good job of pulling me in from the beginning and there was the perfect amount going on to keep me reading to find out what happens. I liked Rourke and he starts out taking revenge but his feelings for Viktoria change. I thought these two had such good chemistry.

Violet Leader a second book in Chicago Mafia Dons is wonderful and exciting!
Rourke was the leader of the Irish mafia and Viktoria was the princess of the Russian mafia. The Irish was at war with the Russian because they thought the Russian murdered their father. As retaliation, Rourke kidnapped Viktoria. From the first time Rourke saw Viktoria he knew he had to have her. Beautiful story!

A really good storyline for this novel! I feel like the story was rushed and it jumped over days, weeks, and months which I hate in books (give me the details!!!). I also felt that this book could have done better in "show vs. tell". I was TOLD this and that happened, but I'd rather be SHOWN how it was portrayed to get the good details.

Missing
Lot of grammatical and spelling errors had me scratching my head to make sense of some sentences. Problem continued with spelling March with small letter in paragraph at end. Story was commonplace and so similar to book one I skimmed over the sex. Plot had promise but was mostly talk instead of mafia action.

Rourke and Victoria Viki
I felt sorry for Viki because he was so crude to her. Rourke should had been scared to death when she was shot. He deserved that anguish because of how mean he was to her. I am glad they are together but that was a tough relationship. She was so young but yet she was so strong. Could not put this story down
