This review is for Arizona Tape's take on Dionysus with Calliope and Selena.
This is a sweet, short tale with a clever take on Dionysus with Calliope falling in love with a vintner Selena.
Up on Mount Olympus, Calliope/Callie the current Goddess Dionysus can't wait for her term as goddess to be over. Selena toils on the family land producing wonderful wine with the label Dryad Dew Wineries. The tale starts when the two women meet at the Temple but Selena has no idea of Callie's real identity. Subsequent meetings, a realization how far removed Temple Dionysus now is from the wine making process, the pull of land, grapes and sweet romance all made this a lovely read.
Neat, little storyline that made me smile.

After reading the first Anthology I was so happy another was being written! Such delightful and sexy reads!
One that stood out to me was Her Juicy Dom by Linzi Basset. Wow! For a short story it sure does pack a sinful and sexy punch! Gemma is a woman who has been burned in the past by men and refuses to give her heart to anyone. But when she is paired up with Kade, will he be the be the one to change her mind? He is all alpha and definitely loves his peaches! I may never look at one the same again! These two have incredible chemistry and their time together is sizzling. I really enjoyed this story and now I’m going out to buy some peaches!

This review is for the novella, Her Seasoned Delivery, by Danika Bloom. It is a part of the Eat Your Heart Out 2 Anthology.
This was another great story by Danika. It’s a fun romance between a little older “seasoned” (late 30s, early 40s) characters that come with their own histories and predetermined opinions about their futures. A strong independent heroine with a plan and a strong hero that’s a former chef with no plan end up changing their minds and following their hearts.
It has everything you want in a novella: heart, steam, strong characters that have a meet cute in his former restaurant and a perfect HEA.
This was another great story by Danika. I voluntarily reviewed Her Seasoned Delivery by Danika Bloom, this is a fast-paced sweet and steamy novella. Magdalena is pregnant with twins and is considered a geriatric pregnancy, with a bad craving for clam smoothies that only one restaurant makes...Stirling's whole life changed after he had a heart attack and his family sold the restaurant but when he met Magdalena and offered to make her the magic smoothies they bonded and got closer. Sweet story with wonderful characters.

Magdalena, the female lead, is 7 months pregnant with IVF twins when, desperate for the only smoothie she can keep down, she waddles, begging, into the restaurant in which Stirling, the male lead, used to own and be head chef. When the restaurant won’t do home delivery or takeaway, Stirling offers to make it at her house for her - he’s got nothing else to do, due to a non-compete clause…
This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and made me chuckle about how our grand plans can be thrown off course by chance events. I enjoyed both lead characters, including the lived experiences they both brought to the relationship, and their relationship development.

I’ve only read one story for the review and it was Her Seasoned Delivery by Danika Bloom.
This was a good story! I always enjoy her stories, they have heart and get to the point. Stirling is recovering from a heart attack and his family has some their legacy business out from under him with clauses that pretty much mean he can’t do the work he loves for a stretch of time and is going out of his mind. Magdalena is a late 30’s successful woman, pregnant with twins through IVF and has just been ordered bed rest. Through an odd series of events he comes to her rescue with a smoothie. She is hilarious the way she refers to what these babies are doing to her and doesn’t hold back. It’s a great quick read. .

Second anthology inspired by food. Short stories, small spin offs and excerpts. Relationships ranging from monogamous, menage and reverse harem.
My big sweet waffle monster by Skye MacKinnon. A starlight monsters story. Prequel. M/F. Waffles. A human and an alien find each other and try to escape. Pretty straight forward. 3 stars.
The macaron witch by Laura Greenwood. Broomstick bakery. M/F. Macarons. A sous chef and a bakery witch. Cuteness, magic and misunderstandings. 3 stars.
Her sexy chef by Lexie Miers. M/F. Chef and a secret critic. A bit cringy for me. Over the top insta love and dramatic breakup. Couldn’t get into it. 2.5 stars.
Her eggplant lover by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson. M/F. Eggplant. Short, Chef and journalist. The eggplant word play got old and repetitive pretty quickly. Not much going on except for the innuendo flirting. 2.5 stars.
Her winy goddess - Harvest of Dionysus by Arizona Tape. F/F. Wine. Goddess of wine and a vineyard dryad. It was cute and there was character growth. Might be worth looking into the series. The retiring gods thing sounds interesting. 4 stars.
His fishy model by Jessalyn Jameson. M/F. Sushi. Short story from the Completely rocked series. On its own it’s a sweet story and bonus of pissing off an ex. Its the fact it was just a hookup that gives me pause about looking into the series. 4 stars.
His forbidden therapist by Demelza Carlton. M/F. Apples. Stage performer and a receptionist. It was sweetish. Alexis felt very innocent. 3 stars.
Her donut daddies by Calista Jayne. One rapunzal with daddy and commitment issues, an ex and his best friend. MFM. Donuts. I liked how Jase and Hunter balanced each other out. Daddy kink. Didn’t like the sleazy boss. 4 stars.
Her popping mates by Zoey Indiana. MFM with some mm thrown in. Popcorn. I liked it. Cursed bear shifters. Had the funny popcorn moments, along with the emotional drama and the shitty council happily destroying lives. Would be interested to read more. 4 stars.
Her seasoned delivery by Danika Bloom. M/F. Clams. I felt sorry for Stirling. Mags was a hard character to get into. Felt a little one sided. I did like it though. The clam smoothies sounded gross. 3.5 stars.
Her steamy alphas by Lacey Carter Anderson. Reverse harem. Whoop whoop. A siren and three gargoyles. Short so not much difference between the brothers. Felt sorry for the siren. Glad she had a happy ending. 4 stars.
Her peppery dom by Rachel Everly. M/F. Pepper. Another short one. I wasn’t sure about this one with the age gap and the grumpy/sunshine thing. By the end I wanted to read more, maybe see the grandma’s reaction. 3.5 stars.
Her plant man by Jade Waltz. M/F. Probably the shortest one so far and definitely I wanted more of. The dominant alien and shy human were so sweet. App mating. 4 stars.
Her greedy boss by Erin Bedford. M/F. Secretary and boss wolf pack. The push and pull between the duo was interesting. Jim, not so much. Would’ve liked to see how things ended up. 3.5 stars.

Her pastry shifters by Mia Harlan. Reverse harem. Pastries. Pretty much what you’d expect from a Silver springs spin off. Three guys turning into pastries for their fated mate. Light and fun. 3.5 stars
Their bendy Bond girl by TB Mann. Reverse harem. Three guys. Banana. I did like this one but it felt M/F with two other guys trying to muscle in. It was interesting and I did like the spy theme. 3.5 stars.
His curvy cyborg by Margo Bond Collins. M/F. This one didn’t really stay with me. Sci-fi ones are pretty hit or miss for me and usually the ones I avoid. 3 stars
Golden baked by K.R. Max. M/F. Pastries. I liked this one, then I didn’t, then I did and so forth. Small down, mean girl and issues on both sides. The two made a cute couple, but the breakup annoyed me. It was as if only Asher was at fault and that wasn’t the case. The baking classes and interfering oldies were fun.3.5 stars.

I picked up this book specifically because I love Danika Bloom, so my review is going to focus on her contribution. One thing Danika does well is writing stories with situations you haven't seen before. This is definitely one of them - Who would have thought an independent, IVF-pregnant woman with twins could find love in her third trimester all thanks to a very specific pregnancy craving!
It's a fun, quick read that fills your heart and makes you cheer for them as they both overcome the expectations they had for their lives.

Her Seasoned Delivery by Danika Bloom is one novella in the Eat Your Heart Out 2 charity anthology.
A great story written (and therefore readable) with a lot of humor in it.
Magdalena is pregnant with twins thanks to IVF. She never found the right man to give her children. Then she meets Sterling, the former owner and chef of the restaurant where she gets her clam smoothie, all she craves now that she's pregnant. He comes to her house to make the smoothies now that she has been prescribed bed rest.
It ends with a HEA. How? You have to read that for yourself by purchasing the charity anthology!
Highly recommended.

A very enjoyable storyline and the characters were swoonworthy.I loved the chemistry,the drama and all the emotions between the characters and the side characters were enjoyable.Danika's book are all time favourite and who doesn't love hot , swoonworthy chef at personal service.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is an incredible anthology with stories written by some incredible authors. The stories are well written, exciting, entertaining, fun, steamy and all revolve around food!! Intense short reads with some fantastic characters with sizzling chemistry , this is all for a great cause and definitely well worth a read!

Interesting story with a fresh take on pregnancy cravings and a chance meeting with an out-of-work chef who is available to whip up the taste you crave. Humorous, quirky, and it kept me entertained. .

Clam smoothies and Her Seasoned Delivery by Danika Bloom
I’ve never had a clam. No interest. A clam smoothie? Ew. This creation did not put me off the story, though. Possibly because I know Ms. Bloom’s brother is a chef.
Okay, the story. Magdalena bought a three-bedroom condo years ago because she knew she was going to have a family. After years of not meeting the right man, she decides she wants to move on with her dream. Hello IVF. Hello twins. Hello bedrest and nausea at seven months when the only thing that abates the debilitating situation is a clam smoothie from a restaurant down the street. A restaurant who won’t deliver or do take out. She’s screwed.
Stirling used to own the restaurant that makes Magdalena’s smoothie. He witnesses her distress and finds a way to step in. He needs a purpose, after all. A massive heart attack left him debilitated and his family sold the business out from under him. He’s certainly well-off, but he’s signed a non-compete clause, so he can’t even do what he loves. He gets special permission to help Magdalena and, of course, bonds grow. He’s there every day, watching her bloom and thrive with her pregnancy.
This are perilously perfect and, of course, Magdalena panics. Because it’s not fair to saddle this lovely man with a partner and two children who aren’t even his.

This Anthology is packed with some mouth watering and utterly delicious stories by amazing authors. So hard to choose a favorite. They all had their own level of heat.
My Big Sweet Waffle Monster- Penny has been abducted by Alien. She has no hope of being rescued. One day she comes across a caged Alien who smells like her Grandmas cooking. This Alien knows he’s met his mate. He just has to convince her while trying to escape.
The Macaroon Witch- I loved Hazel and Antonio‘s story. Hazel has been invited to teach a cooking class on macaroons. What she doesn’t expect is one handsome sous chef to sweep her off her feet. They both discover more between them besides what they can cook in the kitchen.
Her Sexy Chef- Can a one night stand turn into something more for a chef and a food critic. Amanda and Mark were great together.
Her Eggplant Lover- What does a reporter and a sexy chef have in common? A mouthwatering eggplant…
Her Juicy Dom- Linzi never fails to bring the most amazing story to life. Gemma and Kade’s chemistry just oozes from the pages. They have an instant connection which Gemma is fighting. Willing to trust a man is more than she can handle. Kade will except nothing less from her. She must trust this Alpha Dom and his fascination with peaches. One mouth watering story.
Her WhineyGoddess Burden of Dionysus- This was a great FF love story.
His Fishy Model- One Rockstar meets a Steward on a charter.

His Curvy Cyborg- One cute curvy girl meets a sexy cyborg. Can he make this beautiful human his? Upgrades do have their benefits…
Golden Baked- This was a wonderful story. It flowed beautifully and the characters were easy to relate to. Jade and Asher both have past’s that keep popping up in their daily lives. Will they be able to put it behind them for them to have their own HEA? Or will the past win and leave them both alone?

The Macaroon Witch- I loved Hazel and Antonio‘s story. Hazel has been invited to teach a cooking class on macaroons. What she doesn’t expect is one handsome sous chef to sweep her off her feet. They both discover more between them besides what they can cook in the kitchen.
Her Sexy Chef- Can a one night stand turn into something more for a chef and a food critic. Amanda and Mark were great together.
Her Eggplant Lover- What does a reporter and a sexy chef have in common? A mouthwatering eggplant…
Her Juicy Dom- Linzi never fails to bring the most amazing story to life. Gemma and Kade’s chemistry just oozes from the pages. They have an instant connection which Gemma is fighting. I have reviewed Her Winy Goddess – Harvest of Dionysus, a Queens of Olympus standalone read and part of the Eat Your Heart Out 2 charity anthology. Calliope is bored of her role as the current Dionysus, the Goddess of wine, parties and having a good time, and is looking to retire, until she meets Selena. Having to personally take care of parties at Peak Olympus and not be able to pass it on to an underling, is getting too much. Staring at spreadsheets is not what she signed up for! She used to be the one enjoying the parties, not having to organise all of them, and there are a lot! She has just over fifteen months left, before she can appoint a successor, in a role that lasts for a maximum of five years. She has to use her powers to bless and produce the wine for everyone and also do vineyard blessings and reviews. She could just get someone else to listen to the vineyard owner’s prayers, but she decides to go herself and pick up their offerings. She is left waiting for her second vineyard owner and is surprised that the woman, Selena, doesn’t realise who she is! She plays along and doesn’t reveal her identity, wanting to know more about how normal people think of the gods.
Sometime later, Callie decides to get out and about and after blessing yet another new temple, she gets her driver to stop off in a small village near the ocean, wanting some time alone. The name of the village seems familiar, but she can’t remember why. She stops for something to eat and is recommended a local wine to go with it, which she finds so much better than the same old same wine she produces for the masses. Her waiter gives her the name of the local vineyard where it is produced and she makes the connection to Selena and her review a few months before. Selena sees her there and approaches her to say hello, still not knowing who she really is. She takes her on a tour of the vineyard and even offers her the chance to join her and her workers the next day to see what goes into making their wine. A six am start is a bit of a shock to the system and she doesn’t really have anything to wear, but Selena helps cover all that. The two have a great time, flirting most of the day and she is then invited for an evening meal cooked by Selena’s mother. Callie goes back to her job with a renewed vision of what to do and how to change things for the better. Nearing the end of her term as Dionysus, she is interviewed after opening another new temple and Selena’s mother spots her on the TV and calls Selena’s attention to it. Selena can’t believe she as flirting with a goddess, but the feelings went both ways and when Callie retires, she knows Selena will be waiting for her! A F/F romance mixed in with a dissatisfied god and the wine making business in the modernish day, with all the trappings of old Mount Olympus still in play. I received an ARC copy of Her Winy Goddess from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of that story above. A light-hearted and fun read, one amongst many for a good cause.

My appetite is whet! I love this anthology! I am impressed by the variety (which is the spice of life). The stories are all short romances that spotlight a food item, but that's all they have in common. The menu includes contemporary, fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal. The relationships range from MF, FF, MFM, to MFMM. Some stories are a single bite, some are appetizers, and others are entrees. If anything, this is a taster's menu. A smorgasbord of flavors ranging from mild to spicy, to sweet, savory, and salty.
Each story has a spice level indicated on the title page, along with a quick blurb, so it's easy to choose your next bite. So far, I have read half the stories, so I am still hungry for more. I'm loving finding new authors, as well as enjoying some familiar writers.

Her Eggplant Lover: It's a contemporary, funny, MF short story about a chef who makes delicious dishes with eggplants, as well as a bit of the other kind of eggplant.
Her Winy Goddess: A short, fantasy FF story with Greek deities.
His Fishy Model: I love this contemporary MF short story about a rock star, a charter yacht, and a sushi dinner.
His Forbidden Therapist: A short and sweet, MF, sci-fi romance starring apples, a gladiator, and a therapist's assistant.

Her Plant Man: A short, sweet, and slightly sticky story. It's a MF, sci-fi story with a human man and an extra-terrestrial female. I loved this two-bite appetizer that was narrated by the man.

This was a wonderful anthology, for such a worthy cause! I loved that each story's spice level and blurb was provided on the title page, which made it easy to know what I was getting into for each morsel. This is a great way to find new authors as well as enjoy ready favorites! From mild to hot, you'll find a bite-sized piece of fun to read!

Eat Your Heart out was a super fun entertaining anthology featuring a diverse collection of short stories by several fabulous authors and it did not disappoint!!! And the fact that all the proceeds went towards a great cause only made these stories that much better!!!

Penny is smelling waffles, just like her nan used to make with all the sweetness of honey and maple syrup. She has to find where this delightful aroma is coming from. Now while that sounds easy to do for Penny it is not. She's somewhere in the galaxy not anywhere near Earth and the prospects of going home are less than none. She waits until the guards are at their meal before attempting to find the source of the waffles. Her only way into the area is through the very small vents.
Qong is a prisoner on this ship, he'd been rudely wakened from cryosleep and put into this cell. He'd been traveling to Kev-4 a place for his people to start over with better lives. Now he has no idea where he is his only happiness is in sensing his mate. She appears to be closer now, over his head in fact.
Knowing Qong is her mate, she needed the answer to one question, did he volunteer for Kalumbu or are the trials his punishment.
That he is neither is not a surprise to her, she'd seen much over the course of her stay here. Volunteers often weren't but the trials are harsh and most often deadly. She would need to get him off the ship and get both of them off the station without being caught.
This book is both fun and exciting as they make plans and execute them. I can't wait for the next book in this brand-new series.

Eat Your Heart Out 2: A Charity Romance Anthology is a collection of 19 writings presented by several authors. The best part is that the net proceeds are being donated to The Hunger Project and Unicef's Ukraine appeal. The set itself has everything that you can imagine and is sure to find several drool worthy books just suited for your taste specifically. Being a fan of Mia's I read her pastry shifter book and wasn't disappointed. I love her whimsical take on shifters and her knack for writing them into entertaining and steamy RH stories!! I'm onto my next book by lacey Carter Anderson and really, who can resist Steamy Alphas? Not me, that's for sure. As I said, there's most certainly something for everyone in this set and you have the added bonus of knowing that you helped a great cause.

I can’t wait to eat up all of these delicious stories in this amazing anthology! This book is packed with all kinds of unique, interesting, entertaining and utterly scrumptious stories from some absolutely phenomenal authors.
Her Juicy Dom by Linzi Bassett – As always, no matter the length of the story, Linzi packs each and everyone of them with deliciously sinful characters and utterly titillating moments - this one is filled to the brim. Gemma and Kade’s passion and sizzling chemistry oozed off the pages and had my panties melting. It was damn right sexy. It will definitely make look at peaches differently!
A definite must read collection of juicy stories sure to whet your appetite.

This is another collection of nineteen fun stories by a variety of authors.
I really enjoy collections like these for the opportunity to explore new authors as well as visiting current favorites. This collection offers a variety of characters, settings and writing styles so there are plenty of opportunities to find a new favorite author. Each of the stories is well written and easy to read and I rather enjoyed them all. One particular favorite was Hey Winy Goddess by Arizona Tape which had just a touch of Greek myth to it. Overall, this was a great collection of like romantic reads and it provided plenty of entertainment value.

I love the story it was amazing. It’s the story about Sterling Cox who has a heart attack and loses his restaurant right out from under him. Magdalena always wanted to have a family. This was a delicious story by Calista Jayne. Her Donut Daddies follows Skye on a very rough day, which brings her to Jase and Hunter, the owners of Donut Daddies. Through a series of events, Jase and Hunter come to Skye’s rescue and help her to find her own strength and believe in herself, as much as they believe in her. I always enjoy Calista’s stories. Calista mixes in the right amount of heart, heat, passion, and humor into this and all of her stories. You’ll love it and want to find more of Calista’s work to indulge in. Donut Daddies is a quick, but enjoyable read.

Eat Your Heart Out 2 is a charity anthology packed with fun, foody, and entertaining stories. I've read all of the stories in this book and loved them all. Some of my favorites are The Macaron Witch by Laura Greenwood, Her Eggplant Lover by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson, Her Winy Goddess by Arizona Tape, and Her Steamy Alphas by Lacey Carter Andersen. I love getting to read anthologies because I get to read stories by some of my favorite authors and find some new to me authors at the same time. I loved that the net proceeds are going to be donated to The Hunger Project and Unicef's Ukraine appeal.
