I was excited to have the opportunity to read Jennifer Faye’s Carrying the Greek Tycoon’s Baby. She is becoming one of my favorite authors and this first installment to the new series, Greek Island Brides, does not disappoint. It is a quick read, however, it is full of sweetness and romance. I enjoyed Xander and Lea’s story. They have perfect chemistry right from the start. I loved the beautiful destination of Lea’s Infinity Island. I would love to be right there on that island of paradise.
I give Carrying the Greek Tycoon’s Baby a well deserved five plus stars. I can not wait to read book two from the Greek Island Brides series. I highly recommend this book! It is most definitely not one to be missed.
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

This story is the first in a trilogy and obviously, it is a standalone. The first thing I decided I wanted was to move to Infinity Island! It sounds like a wonderful, warm, colorful, gorgeous, happy place that would be great right about now (smack in the middle of my winter season). We meet Lea Romes, the owner of the island, and I have to say her back story is most unusual – I know that her life-changing inheritance would never happen to me, and that’s why I read these wonderful books. Xander Marinakos visits the island, with intent to purchase it, and their story starts there. (Meeting the handsome tycoon wouldn’t happen to me either but it’s a book boyfriend, right?)

Lea’s character is very strong in that she makes life-altering decisions look easy, even as the thought of selling the island just about kills her. Xander doesn’t make the cut for buying the island from her and that gives them a free ticket to have a wonderfully romantic weekend, just for themselves. ..with a little ‘gift’ thrown in to surprise them. Both characters need to work through family events in their pasts before they can be together, as friends or much more. Xander is sometimes a clueless boy but to me, it makes him all that more adorable.

Reading how these two get to their HEA makes for a great story. It touches all the hearts and feels you want in a romance story. Ms. Faye weaves much feeling throughout the day to day with these two and I can’t wait to read more.

A sweet and romantic book. Both Lea and Xander are at odds. Have issues in trusting.

Lea would not sell her heritage. Just finding about it well there was no way. But things changed. One night with a handsome man and a test told another story.
Lea loved what she did on Infinity Island it was magical. She believed in what her grandparents did.
She would continue the tradition.

Xander was taken by Lea, but when she dropped the bombshell of all bombshells on him he didn’t know what to do. He wants her island yes, but things aren’t easy after she explains things. He’s interested in how things work out on the island.

See what happens when on a whim they take the survey that all perspective people take to come to
Infinity Island. It gets very interesting.

CARRYING THE GREEK TYCOON'S BABY is a sweet and light romance set on a Greek Island between a poor heiress who is just trying to keep the island as it has been and a wealthy businessman who wants to buy the island. Harlequin Romance fans will enjoy the humor and back-and-forth tension of this one!

Fist off, I really liked these characters. Lea is this great mix of down-to-earth American sweet, with a huge heart, but a stubborn streak a mile wide. Xander is charming, intelligent, and drop-dead gorgeous (of course). He's career-minded all the way and has always put work first. It's quite a shake-up for him when he finds out that Lea is carrying his baby. There are also a couple of side characters that added to the story and I'm sure readers will be seeing more of in future books. I enjoyed seeing Lea and Xander get to know each other since they really didn't before and how they try to figure out what their future will look like. The chemistry was decent between Lea and Xander, which kept the story moving forward. There are a couple of love scenes, but they were tastefully kept off screen. I also enjoyed the overall plot and the idea of a wedding destination island.

Now for what things just didn't work for me... The plugs for "infinity" from Lea felt a little forced and used too often. I got the tie-in for the islands name, but it just rubbed me wrong after a while when Lea would use it. Lea is super stubborn. Like overly, unrealistically stubborn. I didn't get why she wouldn't try to work out a sale of the island to Xander with the agreement that she run things and approve things, but using his capital to upgrade and bring the island out of the red. If I was Xander, that would have been a major issue for me as it really showed how little she trusted him. Then there were dialogue and characters' actions that didn't work for me. I think I just wanted more from this story. More depth to the character so they felt more complex and more emotion that felt genuine.

In the end, was it what I wished for? I enjoyed reading this and the overall idea of the series. I was disappointed in some things and wanted more development in some areas, but again, I still enjoyed the story. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next two books.

Content: References to love scenes but no descriptions.

Sometimes coming late to the party can be a good thing since the final story in the Greek Island Brides trilogy will be out in a few weeks I can basically binge-read this without having to wait for the next book. Timing is such a tricky thing, isn’t it?

CARRYING THE GREEK TYCOON’S BABY brings us to a beautiful Greek island paradise that Lea has inherited from an aunt she knew nothing about before the lawyer contacted her. Which, of course, resulted in questions her parents didn’t want to answer. Lea has since fallen out with her parents over her decision to accept the inheritance and move to the island. Infinity Island is a lovely wedding destination especially with the little bit of magic that surrounds all the couples married here. There has never been divorce for any couple that said their vows on the island. The trouble is that the island is now older, buildings need repair and all of this wasn’t as easy as Lea thought it would be. Now she’s looking for investors… not buyers for the island. What she gets is one sexy tycoon with a plan of his own — and so much more.

Xander doesn’t believe in love or marriage, he believes in business, profit, and short-term relationships. He wants Lea’s island and he’s not accustomed to anyone saying no to him. When it’s obvious that she will not sell, well, then the sizzle between them bursts into a one night flame. Or it would have been if there weren’t a baby to consider now.

I had such an enjoyable time with two stubborn people, Xander and Lea, in CARRYING THE GREEK TYCOON’S BABY. I understood why they each acted as they did, but it didn’t stop me from wanting to sit them down for a stern talking to. We’ll also meet the other two ladies who will have their own stories told in this trilogy. The story flowed naturally, the world-building was light but necessary, I was emotionally engaged with this couple and needed them to wake up to their love for each other. If you love a good romance then you’ll love this one. Now I’m off to pick up CLAIMING THE DRAKOS HEIR, and if my timing is right I should be ready for the final story, WEARING THE GREEK MILLIONAIRE’S RING just as release day arrives. Gotta love when the timing works out just right. *grin*

I own a Kindle edition of Carrying the Greek Tycoon’s Baby.

What can I say? Another winner from Ms. Faye and the Harlequin Romance line. Why are you not reading this line? Because it’s not hot enough? Think the storyline will be too sweet for you? Trust me, the romance is there. The smexy times build up is there; it’s just behind closed doors and the story isn’t too sweet. Ms. Faye has written a brilliant billionaire story that will tug on your emotions, have you believe in a true love romance with a bit of magic woven in.

I adored Lea from the beginning. Finding out about her heritage the aftermath with her parents is relatable. Not all people are happy with their roots and her mother was not happy. The island brought up bad memories for her and I could understand that in some way. But to withhold that from Lea and then subsequently “rule” her life afterward? No. Again, relatable. Lea has a backbone and she uses it. She is very uncertain of Xander in the beginning but slowly warms up to him. Her friendship with Popi is fun and I can’t wait to see what is in store for her.

Xander is the typical billionaire. Yes, he is Greek but Ms. Faye has written him to be a good guy, not your typical alpha jerk. He really does care for Lea and the baby to come, he just doesn’t know how to achieve that true happiness. He’s worked most of his life and really hasn’t thought about marriage and a family. His backstory is interesting and I adored his relationship with his sister, Stasia.

I never felt like the story was rushed. The romance moves at a leisurely pace and the setting for the story is great. An island that guarantees that if you get married there, it will be forever? Loved it. I really didn’t want the book to end. Lea and Xander were a perfect couple and I can’t wait to hear more about them in the other books.

Again, why are you NOT reading this line? It’s fun, romantic, has the lush settings and heroes to swoon for in the end? Tsk, tsk. Plus, billionaires. One of Harlie’s favorite heroes.

This story is the beginning of Ms. Faye’s new trilogy titled, Greek Island Brides. The first story belongs to Lea Romes, the new owner of Infinity Island. An island where those married there are married forever.
Lea inherited the island from an aunt she knew nothing of, and from a family her parents never mentioned. Now she’s there to make Infinity a special place, but money is short and she’s in need of an investor.
Xander Marinakos is a very wealthy man looking to buy the island and convert it into large estates for the rich. Needless to say that does not go well with Lea, but that doesn’t stop the attraction between them. They have a memorable weekend, he leaves without investing and both thought that was the end of their time together. But fate throws them a surprise. Lea is pregnant and Xander is at a loss, thus returning to Infinity.
The plot was entertaining and sweet. Two strong characters, both hurt by those that claimed to love them, and both committed to their work. Will the time they spend together change their views on life and allow them to find their HEA, or will they let the past and misunderstandings get in the way of happiness?
Another sweet and entertaining story by this talented author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book . The opinions expressed are solely my own.

My favorite things about this book: Infinity Island is definitely the kind of place that I would love to escape to. I love the idea of a place that is so magical that everyone who has ever been married there has stayed together forever. So you know that this setting is going to be a good one. And it is always nice to see a man step up to face his responsibilities.

Both of these characters have been struggling in their own way for quite some time, though on the surface they seem like they have it all together. Somehow, the two of them together seem to complete each other and push each other to become better versions of themselves. This is so important in real relationships, and I love it when it is echoed even in fiction.

My less than favorite things about this book: The relationship kicked off way too fast for me and then we jumped ahead a few months. But this isn't the end of the world and not something that is going to turn off all readers.

Would I recommend it? Sure. It's a quick read, and like I said, takes place in a dreamy setting. I actually enjoyed it in one evening with an adult beverage in my hand. It makes for a fun escape and isn't overly racy. I'll be on the lookout for the next two books in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

InnfinityIsland in Greece is one of the most exciting and romantic places to get married. Lea would love to perform more weddings but the deterioration of many of the bungalows is not good and in need of minor and major repairs. She has finally come to the conclusion that in order to keep this place and her family history going she needs someone to invest and help her bring it back to the way it used to look.

Xander Maeinakos is a millionaire and after visiting the island decides it would be a great investment. The only problem is he does not want to use it for romantic weddings but wants to build it into something that will be much more lucrative for his business. Although Lea turns down his offer he does spend a romantic and unforgettable weekend together.

Fast forward several months and Lea finds herself pregnant with Xander's child. She must tell him but is concerned about how he will react. Surprisingly he acts much differently than she anticipated. Lea is a strong-willed person and is not about to give up her dream.

Can that one magical weekend turn into a permanent romance? The book is very enjoyable and fun read.

Carrying the Greek Tycoons' Baby is the first a new series and is a great beginning. This is a story of a one night of passion that leads to pregnancy. Lea grew up under the controlling influence of her parents but when she learns that she has inherited Infinity Island from estranged relatives, she takes control of her life and moves to the island. Infinity Island is a marriage destination place where the legend is that if you marry on the island your marriage lasts forever. Xander Marinakos is building an empire that is unmatched by any other and has decided he wants Infinity so that he can level it and build mansions for the rich but Lea refuses to sell to him. They spend an amazing night together that has consequences and when Lea informs Xander of her pregnancy, he flies back to the island. Both are not looking for a relationship but as they spend time together to plan their co-parenting, feelings start to rise and they must both decide if their relationship is one that will last for forever. This is a great story filled with a range of emotions and engaging characters that draw you into the story.

A fast-paced unexpected pregnancy story! Xander is determined to be a part of his child's life and sets out to convince Lea that there could be a future for the two of them as well even though she's determined that they aren't meant to be. The characters are interesting and the story line satisfying.

When real estate tycoon Xander Marinakos meets Lea Romes, he's attempting to buy her private island resort to re-develop it. She informs him that it's not for sale, and business is done. They are each drawn to the other, so a night of passion concludes their contact ... until she calls him a weeks later to tell him about their little surprise!

Lea Romes adores the island wedding destination resort she inherited from her extended family. She never plans to leave this heaven on earth, and when she finds out that she's pregnant, she just plans to incorporate the baby into her daily schedule and keep on working away. She never expects Xander to show up and want to show that he can work in her and the baby's life as well!

Once again Ms. Jennifer Faye transports her faithful readers into an extraordinary romantic Island romance.
Carrying The Greek Tycoon’s Baby is a perfect story for anyone who is looking for that exceptional romantic book which will sweep them away.
Lea just inherited her Mom’s family island, Infinity Island. This is one revelation she didn’t see coming, since she didn’t know her Mom’s family, much less an Island, existed.
Xander is always looking for that perfect business opportunity to expand his property, assets, and family company.
So is Infinity Island his next big investment?
Lea and Xander’s chemistry is spot on, I loved the banter, the laughter, and even the preconceived misunderstandings that make this such a fun loving book.
Jennifer Faye is one of today’s most talented romantic authors!!

Fun, easy to read, romantic story. This story had great characters and I loved that the setting of the book was in Greece on a little island.

I liked the main characters Xander and Lea. I liked Lea’s personality, love for the Island and her passion with being a wedding & honeymoon destination location. Xander was a strong, sexy character who wasn’t afraid to work hard and prove his love and determination to Lea and the Island, even after she rejected him.

This story is book 1 in the Greek Island Brides series.

I took a chance that this Harlequin Romance would be fairly “clean” since I typically only read clean fiction or christian fiction. Sex was implied a couple of times, but there were no explicit or graphic scenes or bad language. I really enjoyed reading it!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

I have really come to love reading Jennifer Faye's books. After the winter we have had it was great to escape to a Greek island. You feel like you are right there. I could picture the beautiful water and I could feel the warmth. This is the first book in a new series but it can be read as a stand alone. I am looking forward to reading Popi's story. Lea has inherited a Greek island that is known for its weddings. Zander at first wants to buy the island and build large estates on it. Of course Lea turns him down flat. After Zander spends time on the island he starts to see what Lea sees and wants to invest in the island but Lea is afraid he will try to take over running it so she again turns him down. They are both strong willed people who have to learn to trust each other.

Sparks and tears will fly in this sexy, romantic story with two fun characters. Lea Romes is very stubborn and strong willed. She is living on Infinity Island which she just inherited. Unfortunately for her this wedding island needs a lot of money which Lea does not have so she is looking for a person to invest in her island. Xander Marinakos is a sexy, good looking man who wants to buy the island and turn it into a development. He is not interested in making an investment. I loved the characters, the banter, the island, and the romantic story. I am also excited that this is the first book in the Greek Island Brides series and I look forward to the next two books in this trilogy. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I love the story of Lea and Xander. Xander is a successful businessman who comes to Infinity Island thinking he is going to buy it and make it his own. Lea, who owns Infinity Island, does not want to sell her family legacy. After their first encounter on different sides, they realize they are attracted to each other. Jennifer Faye writes wonderful books, and this story was phenomenal. Carrying the Greek Tycoon's Baby was a fast paced, exciting page turner, and I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this book. If you haven't read books by Jennifer Faye, you definitely should!

This is the first of a new trilogy and if the rest is as enjoyable as this one I can't wait! This is a sweet romantic read set on a private Greek island. The place is a well known wedding destination that has fallen on hard times as of late. Lea Romes, the current owner, is determined to return the place to it's former glory. Xander Marinakos just wants to buy the island and add it to his empire. Their negotiations take a turn to the personal when a night of passion has life changing results.

This is a great quick read and one I think everyone will enjoy. I definitely recommend it.

Carrying the Greek Tycoon's Baby is the heartwarming story of Xander and Lea's journey to their happily ever after.
Finding out you're going to be parents is life-changing; even more so for two people who are practically strangers. Xander and Lea already have the passion, now they need time to get to know each other and discover if they can be the kind of parents neither of them had.

The start to a new series by a favorite author. Once again, the heroine is strong and honest; the hero is honorable and determined to do the right thing; and they find a way to make things work. Always a HEA - which i love. And this story has a unique setting. I enjoyed everything about this story, and I'm looking forward to the future books in the series.

A Greek Island Brides story in which the owner of the island, Lea Romes, meets Xander Marinador. As life happens, she gets pregnant and when Lea finally tracks him down again, he's in shock--not sure what to do.

But you know what happens. He helps her begin to update the wedding destination resort she runs and they both fall in love with each other.

This is an amazing book! From the first page I was captivated by Infinity Island. Lea Romes inherited the island and believes in the magic of Infinity marriages because they are the lasting kind. However, the time has come to sell the island. Xander is looking to buy the Island, tear everything down and develop big estates. Lea tells him no she wont sell to him but a few months later calls to tell him he is going to be a father. What a surprise! This truly was a one night to nine months later love story.
Ms. Faye is a Fabulous Favorite Author of mine. I can always count on great characters, beautiful romantic places and a love story with a HEA ending. Highly recommend.

This was a tedious entry in the Greek billionaire romance. Xander has to be the most boring Greek billionaire out there in romance world. He knocks up Lea and then spends the rest of the novel hanging around her destination wedding island trying to ingratiate himself with her or at least figure out what he wants to do. She spends her time just wishing she could figure out a way to keep her island from going bankrupt while refusing Xander’s no-strings offers of help because she just can’t trust him.

I just couldn’t care about either of them or their supposed romance.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
