Anka Ryall has lectured for a number of years on the topic of Virginia Woolf at the University of Tromsø, and has written prefaces and postfaces for the Norwegian translations of many of Woolf's novels.
She has also worked on the Norwegian edition of Woolf's essays and short stories.
She also writes travel literature.

Enkelt og tilgjengelig språk. Lekkert utseende og god utforming i kombinasjon med bilder er et stort pluss for opplevelsen. Forfatteren forklarer fakta godt, samtidig som hun stiller gode spørsmål til historiens fremstilling opp gjennom.

Viktig og bra innhold, men usikker på formidlingen. Mannen og hans perspektiv tar mye plass.
