Feelin' Some Type of Way #1-2

Feeling Some Type Of Way:

Rate this book
Lourdes is strong, independent, and knows what she wants. She lives her life by her own rules and that includes her relationships. As far as she is concerned, men are only good for one thing, sex on demand. That attitude leads to a series of one night stands which she uses to mask and escape feelings. She’s been there, done that, and it didn’t end well. That was until she crosses paths with King Lion. He forces his way into her life and changes everything. Dometrius, known as King Lion to boxing fans, is all about his career. He’s worked hard to make it and is enjoying every second of his successful life, which means living with little or no regret. Although he has plenty of women at his disposal, he’s thrown off and pulled in immediately the second he lays eyes on Lourdes. After one night in Vegas with her, she leaves him with a wrong number and a lot of questions. As fate would have it, Dom and Lourdes both live in Miami, and his fame as a high-profile boxer affords him the resources to track her down. After a little resistance, Dom finally gets Lourdes to agree to an official date, but life seems to weave its way into their worlds, reintroducing the past that they both have to be held accountable for. Life isn’t kind when your heart wants more than life is willing to give. Lourdes is tired of running and willing to open up to love, and Dom is determined to make her his. But they both have pasts that seem to challenge their relationship. Will Dom and Lourdes have a fighting chance, or will they be left Feeling Some Type Of Way

Dom's patience with Lourdes was admirable. She irked me at times, but I knew she wasn't ready. I'm glad she stopped running and was completely forthcoming with Dom. I honestly didn't care about Nas and what had happened to him; maybe I’m heartless but if he had minded his business 🤷🏽‍♀️ none of this would have happened. Joss she was ok could have done without .

Lourdes had Dom runnin’ behind her like a runaway slave. Girlfriend had me and Dom stressed TF out. Her ex did her worse than dirty so, Lourdes was firmly planted in her f*ck ninja free era. When she said she was done with love and relationships, she meant that shyt. Dom is on top of world right now. He’s the undefeated middle weight champion and he just won his most recent match to defend his title earning him a $22 million payday. Just as he’s makin’ his way across the lobby of the MGM Grand, Dom spots a short haired cutie he wants to get to know. But, when Lourdes declines his invitation to breakfast, Dom takes her rejection as a challenge. He’s determined to get her to stop runnin’ from him and show her what real love looks like. I absolutely loved Feeling Some Type of Way. This book was filled with a mixture of family loyalty, love, passion, betrayal, frustration, and great sex. Lourdes and Dom’s love journey is a great example of how people can change and grow for the right person. I really enjoyed this book, the characters, and their love story. I would highly recommend you adding it to your TBR.

Lourdes was on her fck men & wanted nothing do with them. Here comes King Lion/Dom BDE. Dom knew he wanted Lourdes even though her ass kept running away. Dom & Nell was dealing with murder of their older brother Derrick. Dom & Lourdes relationship developed beautifully. It was nice seeing Lourdes finally letting her guard down. Lance plot twist was crazy but glad he got his. I’m glad Lourdes stepped up with the help of Dom & got her daughter back. Nas & his delusional wife got there’s too.

Albeit, a little bit far fetched and long, but very good!!!

Some scenes or thoughts were so far fetched but coming from this author and her penmanship, it just fit. I mean I was a little “feeling some type of way” when she had that last conversation because yeah the culprit deserved everything coming to them but like that was harsh… then again at the end everyone got their happy ending.
Lourdes was getting on my nerves and she was so lucky that she found a patient and willing man in Dom because baby, I would have left her ass a while back. Joss was everything besides the little side step she did (which I think she got off easy), she was a great bff both for Lourdes and Nell.
I am my brother’s keeper and finally Dom got some peace, at the expense of another, but he got it, as well as Nell. Speaking of Nell, I truly had hoped that he stopped all of his extracurricular activities and stay legit, but we will only know if he gets his story with Joss….
In any case another banger, another banger MS. Mills!!!!

Honest review incoming..

I was going to DNF this book but I’ve been in a bad reading slump so I decided to let Alexa read it to me and see if I could get through it. I made it but definitely felt like I was pushing myself. Lourdes irked my entire spirit. To be fair by the end I wasn’t in love with her even by the end. Jos and Lance was spinning me. There were just a lot of things turning me off this book. I just knew I was giving it 3 stars then that last 20ish percent hit!

The situation with Nasan blew my mind! First of all he was out of his mind for acting like he did but then the way it all played out 🤯 the last few chapters was the jolt of excitement I needed to jolt me up out of my reading slump. Is this my favorite KC book, absolutely not but did it have my mouth hanging open and perk me up definitely!

This book 📕 definitely made me feel some type of way. Dom and Lourdes were great together. I am glad he was persistent because sis was soooooo damaged. Her ex did a major number on her but he got way more in the end😂. I am on the fence about whether he actually deserved it.🤷🏽‍♀️. Dom/King Lion was definitely bae and I 🥰 loved his patience with Lourdes. Nell and Joss were cute 🥰. I would love and update. Another great read by this author👍🏽👏🏽!!

good read

Of course I love all her books new and old.I haven’t read this book in a while but all of her books have her special craft. Dom was babe, he was real with his feelings and his life.. he was a good brother and I think his brother Derrick would have been proud of him. Lance was such an asshole I’m glad the killed and I’m glad Nas and his wife got what they deserves

Great story

This was a great story. I love how Dom broke down Lourdes barriers and won her over. Cause in the beginning Lourdes was definitely a hit it abs quit it type of girl. Nothing like the love of the right man to heal the wounds left by the wrong man. Excellent storytelling and writing.

I loved me some Dom! I was so glad when Lourdes decided to stop running from that man and grew tf up. She was getting on my damn nerves. Like not every man is the same.. Joss was ok. I can’t imagine dealing with a man after my friend, even if I had him first.. I wouldn’t want him back. I hate Nell had so much guilt but I’m glad he grew up.

Amazing as always!

I loved Dom and Lourdes' story. Out of all of your books I've read, this is the first one that I can remember having a lot of grammatical errors. That through me off but another great read anyway.

Good story; Poor editing

Basic boy meets girl story with a urban twist. The poor editing made it hard to finish reading. After a major re-read from author to correct a few conversations this book will be a nice read

Lourdes seem confused. Lance and Nas got what they deserved. King Dom was the man. I like Nell. Joss was wrong. I wouldn't have forgiven her so quick. Love the ending. Baby Kay is too cute

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great story, I loved Lourdes and Dom. I’m glad Dom didn’t let Lourdes get away. Nas was dead wrong for the stuff he did. All I can say is karma. Nas and Lance hit what they both deserved. Joss and Nell were something else. Another great read!!!

This was a good story...

However, those grammatical errors, extra words, and misspelled words were a lot. I love K.C. but how this made it to publication without ARC readers or editing is crazy.

To be honest I was not a fan of Lourdes. It’s sad when a woman get so hurt by a man that it took her out of character. Being out there doing one night stands etc. women are judged differently and when men do it they get a fist bump but we are subject to name calling.

I could have done without Nell and Joss scenes. What kind of friend is Joss? Just tell the truth and I’m sure Lourdes would not have gone there. Nell was a waste of head space and got no ambition.

Dom is the real Champ because it looked like he was chasing unicorns with Lourdes IJS. She was difficult IMHO. He was the only likable character.
