Forbidden/age gap romance and more, D.L Gallie nailed it with this story.

This book is the reason why I love a story that is a bit taboo, everything is stacked against them including their own feelings of what is acceptable, but I have never wanted it to work out more for a couple. Cali and Kane just fit, age aside because lets face its nothing but a number, their banter chemistry and sexual tension is off the scale. Cali is strong willed and mature, while Kane is swoon worthy with a soft fun side. Their fierce devotion to one another and their families runs deep. The heart knows what the heart wants!

I'm not normally big on this type of forbidden romance, but for whatever reason, I didn't read the blurb ahead of time, and since I didn't, I read it & LOVED it so much. Calliope has had a thing for Kane for a very long time, but it's hard to act on that when you're basically a child at 13 years old. When she was of college age, it became hard for Kane to get her out of his head even though he know that he could never do anything about it. All bets are off when she calls him out of the blue in distress, and he gets her to come to his hotel, and the sparks are really flying. There's a lot of emotion in these pages on top of the intense chemistry, and these two were perfect together despite the large age gap & other complications. Love Me Like You Do was impossible to put down, and I couldnt get enough! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had high hopes for this one. I was invested early on but lost Interest about halfway through the book. The heroine was immature for a 23-year-old. Using words like "Fark" and "locky locky" made her seem juvenile. The redundancy of certain conversations pertaining to the "forbidden" relationship became boring. Also, repeated verbiage became annoying. I wish I had more good to say but this was just too cliche for me.

This book had me hooked from the first page til the VERY last. Some very late nights spent not wanting to put it down. I LOVED the banter, the expressed love, story plot, etc! 100000 out of 10 recommend! I also really love the writing style of DL Gallie! Will for sure be picking up her other books to read!!!!!!

It’s the first book that I’ve read by this author and I’ll certainly be reading more. The story follows Calliope who’s had a massive crush on her dad’s best friend, Kane Heatherington (Mr H) since she was a young girl. After moving to New York, for her studies, their paths collide and Cali’s feelings for him are still there.
Kane also feels things but doesn’t want to act on it because his best friend is Cali’s dad. But the chemistry is there and it cannot be denied, what will happen when their relationship is discovered. Will they be accepted as a couple by Cali’s parents, Kane’s children and society.
The book is a great read, the chemistry is off the charts and the story is well written, you are willing this pair to have a happy ending that they deserve. After all love is love and you can’t help who you fall in love with.

I loved the connection that Kane and Calliope had. Regardless of whether or not they ended up in a relationship, there was love there. The idea of dating dad's best friend makes a great story. (Though when I think about my dad's best friends, I cringe.) This story was pulled off well but I'm not sure I would have fessed up to my parents how I earned money in New York like Calliope did.
This book is perfect for those who love age gaps and close friend relationships.

She mentions her clit buzzing when Mr. H is around and I’m still trying to figure out wtf that means and why this girl gets turned on so easily. But apparently she’s super horny and once she popped her cherry… Well, once you pop the fun don’t stop.

In her head Cali knows that the feelings she has for Kane will never be returned but her heart doesn’t seem to be listening. He is there when she needs someone the most which will change everything.
Kane knows that he needs to deny the feelings he has for Cali however when circumstances have them spending time together he can’t imagine a future without her despite all the obstacles they must overcome.
At first glance Cali and Kane appear to be have nothing in common and are at different points in their life but they prove that love can overcome anything.

I could not finish this book. I knew by page 29 that this book was not for me from the FMC saying this about her vagina…”Ever since I popped my cherry when I first got here, she’s taken on a new life and I’m horny all the time. I’m not a slut or anything, but I do like to ride the stallions on campus.”
I cannot listen to the FMC continuously talk like this about her vagina and it’s constant buzzing around the MMC. I tried to give it a chance and continued to read, but stopped at around 100 pages. Maybe age gap romances are just not for me.

I liked this book and it was a fast read. I didn't love it though. Your typical Older male/Younger female/ Forbidden/ Dads best friend story (if this is what you are looking for you will probably love the book). The spice was good though! I'd give it 3.75 for spice level.
Also, I am not into books with pictures of people on or in these types of books. I like to create what they look like in my head and be persuaded by a picture. I would not have picked this book for myself, I received it in a book subscription service I am trying.

Well what can i say my Dee Dee has nailed it again. Her witty sense of humor comes out in this book and makes it the best!!!

Well D.L. Gallie really knows how to pull the heartstrings and keep me on my seat, I just finished and I'm speechless.

I enjoy reading Love me like you do. It's an taboo/age gap romance book. It's page turner. With great storyline. I love Cali and Mr H relationship development. I do love good Epilogue and it was great.

Kane and Calliope had me all caught up in this story. It is an intriguing read with an age gap forbidden romance trope. The twist and turns that Kane and Calliope had in their lives that brought them together had me cheering for this couple to get their chance for a happily ever after!

Wow. What can I say about this book? This book was epic and a highly recommended read. Cali and Kane are such a great couple when they get together and the chemistry is off the charts. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

It was an okay book. It was easy to read. Got me hooked on the beginning but then went downhill. The fmc was too childish for being a 23 year old. But was a fast read. It was a good book I just didn't like the fmc as much.
