Len Wein was an American comic book writer and editor best known for co-creating DC Comics' Swamp Thing and Marvel Comics' Wolverine, and for helping revive the Marvel superhero team the X-Men (including the co-creation of Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus). Additionally, he was the editor for writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons' influential DC miniseries Watchmen.

The multiverse gimmick doesn't always have the legs you might expect it to, and for every inspired plotline there's a tired one that feels limited by formula. The real fun in going through these JLA/JSA crossover collections is to see the gradual but unmistakable changes in eras, as they take you from silver age through bronze age and eventually right up to the cusp of the modern age.
Book two of a series collecting the stories featuring team ups between the Justice League and the Justice Society. Highlights of this issue are stories featuring the JLA and JSA meeting Shazam( AKA Captain Marvel) and a massive story featuring three teams, the JLA,JSA, and the Legion of Superheroes, this one was my favorite. A massive story spanning multiple centuries and the universe with all of creation at stake. This was the best thing about Bronze Age JLA, epic adventure incredible battles and world shattering villains.
