In An Introduction to Childhood , Heather Montgomery examines the role children have played within anthropology, how they have been studied by anthropologists and how they have been portrayed and analyzed in ethnographic monographs over the last one hundred and fifty years.
I had to read this for an anthropology class and originally was less than thrilled as I usually am about required course readings. I have to say that I am actually pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book and I am pleasantly surprised by how easy this was for me to get through.
