As the editor of The Dread Machine, I'm too biased to leave anything other than a glowing review for this issue. We're extremely proud of all the writers who contributed. My personal favorites this quarter, if I'm only allowing myself to list three, are "Betobeto Teketeke" by JL Akagi (which I nominated for a Pushcart Prize), "Like an Itch You Scratch" by Daria Lavelle, and "Blood Runs Cold" by Josh Rountree. We also reprinted "Mona Luna" by Christina Ladd, which is a spectacular read!
