La novela es bastante mala, pero aun así superior a la película en la que está basada. Si no me hubiera tocado leerla por obligación laboral, quizás la habría pasado por alto, pero tampoco fue un martirio tan grande; más bien un martirio mediocre. Eso sí, comparado con los estupidísimos "Chapter-Books", es una obra maestra.

Libro que odiarán por igual los más fanáticos de DragonBall (por cagarse olímpicamente en la maravillosa obra que originó este mamarracho) como sus detractores (porque es mil veces peor que el manga, así que imaginate).
Ideal para regalarle al enemigo, o para hacerse de enemigos si no se los tiene.
Lo más triste: así y todo es mejor que la película.

Versión novelada de la espantosa película que tristemente la supera en algunos aspectos. Incluye páginas a color con imágenes de la película.

Un poquitito menos malísimo que la película, pero no por eso deja de ser malísimo...
Al menos la edición argentina no apesta mucho.

Saya tidak lengkap membaca komiknya, kadang mengikuti saja animasinya di layar televisi, dan belum menyaksikan film Dragonball Evolution yang dibukukan dalam buku ini.
Jadi cuma dengan baca sebagian komiknya serta penggalan-penggalan di animasinya saya mendapatkan gambaran tentang Dragon Ball-nya Akira Toriyama.
Berbeda dengan serial aslinya, Dragonball Evolution merupakan pembuatan ulang kisah aslinya, dengan seting yang jelas berbeda, tapi tokoh tetap sama. Mungkin, agak kecewa dengan gambaran yang berubah ini, sangat dramatis dibandingkan dengan kisah aslinya. OK-lah, kata evolution memang menunjukkan perubahan itu. Dan itu wajar-wajar saja dalam pengkontemperan sebuah kisah.
Merujuk pada buku ini, gambaran fantasi yang sepertinya muncul dalam film, mengingat buku ini adalah proyek pengkisahan dari filmnya, tidak bisa tergambarkan dengan baik. Entah, dari faktor terjemahan ataupun dari edisi aslinya memang sudah seperti itu. Juga pendefinisian yang kurang. Rasanya kalau mengidentifikasikan sesuatu dalam buku ini rasanya terpotong. Kisahnya sendiri terlalu singkat. Mungkin karena diambil dari skenario filmnya.
