3.5 stars - I love the Sinclair's
I have loved this series so much. I was a bit worried about this story because of some things that happened in previous books, but it was not what it seemed!! I hope this isn't the last of this family!
-no cheating
-older man/younger woman
-no ow/om drama
-some steam
-safe- neither with others after meeting
-just ok epilogue that was only 2 months out. I need much more.

YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
I'm so freaking happy that I finally dove into this novella! I have weirdly missed this ENTIRE damn family. Also, I honestly haven't been waiting patiently to dive into Liam's story. I've been tapping my toes anticipating it so freaking badly. Let's just say - I wasn't disappointed!
This book follows the love that's such a freaking slow burn between Liam and Brooke. I LOVED THESE TWO SO FREAKING MUCH! Ever since we met Liam, I knew that these two were going to be a cute ass couple. Then the smut and their chemistry was on fire. Even though it was a little novella, the smut was so freaking good! I wish I got more though - like always!
Overall, it was a cute book. A little bit predictable but I still ended up loving these two characters and their love story. The little family twist wasn't surprising at all but in the end - everyone was one big happy family!
...AND NOW I NEED JADE'S STORY PRONTO PEOPLE!

Only A Millionaire was a novella tucked within the Sinclair series by JS Scott.
We met Liam as Tessa’s brother in the Billionaire’s Voice, book four. Scott had hinted to a chemistry between Liam and his mysterious and sexy employee, Brooke. We finally get their story...
Brooke had a secret and was the reason she was hiding out in Maine. The suspense of waiting for the big reveal kept it interesting, but I didn’t get why Brooke wasn’t straight up with Liam about everything else. Thankfully that didn’t last too long and they moved into the acceptance stage. It was well written and read quickly. The plot was fairly simple and straight forward but Scott did throw in an unpredictable twist to keep it interesting.
As to the characters, I loved Liam. Once he got his head in the right direction, he was all alpha protective and endearing. Brooke was a sweet compliment. As with most novellas, I desired more depth but Scott still made it enjoyable and entertaining.
In the end it was a sweet story and a good bridge to a new spin off series involving Brooke’s siblings: her twin sister Jade and their four brothers Noah, Seth, Aiden and Owen. Their parents died young with Noah stepping in as the father figure. They were poor but had family loyalty and love that got them through it all. Scott provided great teasers for their eclectic personalities. First up is Brooke’s twin Jade in Ensnared.

Liam and Brooke are done denying the potent and powerful chemistry that has been existed between them since they laid eyes on one another so watch out Amesport! Liam thought he was just doing Evan a favor by giving the Sullivan's vacant waitress position to his friend of a friend. The minute Brooke walked in the door he knew he was Screwed with capital S. Everything about her draws him in and believe you me he tried his best for the better part of a year to hold her at arm's length. Between their age gap, her transient status, his past demons, and oh did he mention she got this absentee boyfriend - there are bookoo reasons to stay away. When she drops her bomb about going back to Cali though it's like all those reason evaporate and he's helpless to continue denying his desires any longer. Brooke has been sudo in love with Liam Sullivan since she came to Amesport, but if there’s one thing you need to do when you're hiding out it's lay low. She promised her brother Noah and his friend Evan she wouldn't breathe to a soul her true identity. Which puts her in a pretty sticky wicket when it comes to Liam. Hence why he thinks she's some secret Miss with a jerk Boyfriend. But it's probably better this way, cause giving into her desires for Liam would only end in heartbreak when it's time to go back to her reality...right?

I may be the only one, but I was really disappointed in this book. I was really looking forward to Liam and Brooke's story after how well it was set up in book 6. I was so interested in what her secret was (and why she was keeping it!) and I just couldn't wait to see how she and Liam would finally get together. First of all, this story was super short and definitely felt more novella length. Brooke's secret? Not terribly interesting, and I still don't understand why she couldn't tell Liam about what drove her from CA. Maybe she wasn't ready, but there really wasn't any danger or actual threat. So that was pretty anti-climactic. Then it is revealed that Brooke and her siblings are Sinclairs, and the last 50% of the story felt mostly about that. To be honest? I didn't really care. I wanted more about Liam and Brooke's romance, but devoting this much time to that odd back story in an already short book totally took away from the couple to me. Super disappointed. Also, the setup for Jade's book was fine, but didn't leave me NEEDING to read her story, you know? I may continue with this series since I think it is the only one left in KU by this author, and I just find her books too hit or miss to actually buy. 2.5 stars.

Brooke is hiding out in Maine, Liam is her sexy, older boss. It's clear that at some point they talked about their mutual attraction, but it didn't lead to anything, likely because Liam thinks Brooke has a boyfriend back home in California. The "boyfriend" that has visited her a few times, is actually her brother, but Brooke never bothered correcting Liam. So all this sexual tension has built up because of the lies that Brooke has allowed to continue. Brooke finally decides it is safe to go home to California and it sets off a chain of events with Liam.
This one was alright. I liked Liam's character very much, but I never understood why Liam had to be kept in the dark about Brooke's reason for being in Maine. It made NO sense. There was some dramatic tension built up about how the lying would affect Liam, but then it fizzled when he didn't seem to care. Honestly, I ended up being WAY more interested in Brooke's sister's relationship with some guy named Eli than I was about what was going on with Brooke and Liam. I'm anticipating that the next book will be about Jade and Eli and am hoping that Jade uses her survival skills to rescue the spoiled Eli for a nice twist on the typical romance. It looks like I will have to wait a while to find out.

After a traumatic experience with the help of her brother Noah and his friend Evan Sinclair Brooke finds herself working as a waitress in Maine for Liam’s restaurant. There are only two things wrong with the plan and one is her attraction to her boss and the other is that she will be returning home to California soon.
Liam has been attracted to Brooke for a while but between the fact that she is his employee and that he believes she has a boyfriend he has kept his distance. When she hands in her resignation it becomes a gamechanger and he is not about to let her go without a fight.
The love and chemistry between Liam and Brooke radiates off the pages and as a bonus we get to catch up with the other characters we know and love. The narrator does a great job of having you invested in the characters and their happy ever after.

in realtà vengono svelati anche altri segreti legato alla famiglia dei sinclair, per cui anche se novella la storia sviluppa anche altri aspetti
all'inizio parte un pò lenta anche perchè i due protagonisti è da tempo che si sentono attratti e non cedono ma manca quel mordente quell'attesa che un pò caratterizzava anche gli altri volumi (sempre nel contesto di questo tipo di letture)
in alcuni passaggi la traduzione è troppo cruda, stona con la scena dei protagonisti, risultando eccessiva e quasi volgare
per questo non riesco a dare più di tre stelle e mezzo

Walking to work and Kindle Unlimited made it possible for me to FINALLY get to reading the Sinclair novella. We met Liam during Tessa's book and was glad that more of Evan's Sinclair family got to know more about their father. The Sinclair family can't help but expand. Loved Brooke's story and the chemistry between her and Liam was off the charts!

Es con diferencia el libro que menos me ha gustado de esta serie. Me encanta la serie de los Sinclair pero este libro es más bien un libro de transición en el que nos presentan a los protas de los demás libros que vendrán y por este motivo deja muy de lado la historia de amor entre Liam y Brooke.... Una pena porque pintaba genial! Y los demás me han gustado mucho ☺️

I enjoyed Brooke and Liam's story. This is a little to no drama book which is a nice change. I will say that she did throw a curve ball in this book that I didn't see coming. :) Not only that, but she does an excellent job of setting us up for the next book in this series. At least I believe that Jade's story is next, which I'm excited for.

Millionaire, Billionaire and Trillionaire. Only Author J.S. Scott can keep writing these beautiful stories for readers to fall in love with.
I have always been a huge fan of The Sinclaire Series and in my opinion each story just keeps getting better. This one is definitely a personal favourite.
Liam may only be a millionaire as the title suggests, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a man with a heart of gold and is as stubborn as they come. He was always there for his sister, Tessa, and there is no doubt in my mind he’ll be there for Brooke.
Liam has been led to believe that Brooke has a boyfriend. He has kept his distance for so long it’s become normal between them. No friendship just a working relationship that has worked well up until now. When Brooke announces that she will be returning home it prompts Liam to take action.
As Brooke’s story unfolds we hear some very interesting facts. Her whole life is about to change. Well, it already had a year ago, but she now has other issues in her life that she will need to deal with. With the help from Evan Sinclair, Brooke is about to face something her whole family already knew.
It’s always a pleasure to find out what the other Sinclair’s are up to. I like that Author J.S. Scott brings her past characters into her current stories. It brings everything full circle.
The Sinclair’s family continues to grow with each new story that unfolds, and this pleases me greatly. I’m looking forward to the next book release in this series.

This book was once again an incredible story written by Bestselling Author, J.S. Scott. Liam and Brooke stole my heart and they will forever remain as one of my favourite couples in my reading time.
Author J.S. Scott is a writer that is so well informed about the backstory in her books and allows the reader to completely submerge in the story and want to keep reading in one go.
Only a Millionaire had the perfect ingredients that a good romance should have, it was steamy when needed and passionate for readers to fall in love with the book.
I've enjoyed every single one of the Sinclair books in the series and this was the perfect ending to the bestselling stories.

The Sinclair family lives in Amesport, Maine where Liam Sullivan also happens to own Sullivan's Steak and Seafood restaurant. He has done alright for himself, not a billionaire but not hurting for money either. For a while now Brooke has been working for Liam, and although the two have chemistry between them, they have done nothing about it, after all she has a boyfriend back home, right? Brooke has come to Maine from California, but she is living a lie, and now it's time to go home to California and get her life back, but will it cost her the love of her life who happens to be Liam? Secrets, lies, and lust seem to be a big part of Brooke's new life, but hopefully the lies and secrets will all come to an end when she goes home only to find out that she is not the only one with secrets. If you want to find out what the secrets are that caused Brooke to hide out for almost a year, you will have to read this book.
The Sinclair series has always been one of my favorites and I loved that some of the Sinclair family showed up in this book, along with some new, interesting characters being introduced, that I cannot wait to read more about. Once again J.S. Scott kept me interested from the very first page and left me wanting more!!

3 Surprise Sinclair Stars
I will be honest I have read most of this series in completely the wrong order. In this specific one I have read the first three books. I have read the other Sinclair series but what I like about the entire series is that each book is easily read as a standalone. It wasn’t my favorite Sinclair book and I can accept that due to it being a novella. I think I would be more invested in the story if I of course had read it in order. I like that the author was trying to show up their relationship built over a year and then they decided to go for it. It became quite instalove at the first kiss even though they had the pent up feelings for a year. I think the male character was a good addition but the Sinclair aspect didn’t earn any favors this time around. I was glad to receive a copy of this in the Amazon Reads and I am glad I caught up with my sinclairs but Brooke.. just didn’t work for me.. and I wish it did!

YES, We get Liam's story. I've wanted to read about Liam since he was first introduced in this series, I only thought I understood him but oh no there is an alpha male hiding under all that sometimes silent and brooding character.
Liam Sullivan owns the, Sullivan's Steak and Seafood restaurant in Amesport, Brooke has left a past in California and is now working for Liam with the help of someone else in Amesport, I won't spoil that for you, For sometime now she has fantasized about Liam and he has done the same to her but neither of them has acted on it. Now Brooke has decided she must confront her past and leave Amesport, Liam has to decide does he just let the woman that he wants more then anything go or does he go after her.

In Only a Millionaire we get to take another trip to Amesport, Maine to check in on our favorite family, the Sinclairs. Brooke had escaped to Amesport from her California home with the help of her brother’s friend, Evan Sinclair. For the last year she had been working for Liam Sullivan at his restaurant and now it was time to go home. However, she didn’t know how she would leave Liam. There was an attraction there but they had barely said two words to each other with the exception of work related issues. When Liam tells Brooke he doesn’t want her to go, she is afraid that all of her secrets will turn him against her.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Brooke and Liam finding their way together. It was a good story and I liked these two characters right from the start. This plot is a good one and there a big secret that is revealed that adds a nice surprise to the story! Only A Millionaire is another hit for J S Scott and a good addition to this series.

Totally in love with the Sinclair Series!! You have read in previous books about Liam Sullivan, who owns the restaurant in Amesport Maine. When Brooke came to work as a waitress for Liam, you could see the sparks flying between them!! What Liam did not know was that there were secrets about Brooke that she thought that could destroy them. With Brooke deciding to finally return home, Liam finally steps up and tells her how he feels!! Can this couple over come all their obstacles and be together?? Find out in this spectacular novella that will leave you on the edge of your seat!!! Once your done you will hope that there is many more stories to tell in this tiny community!! I never want this family to be done!!!

Good read, I thought the "secret" Brooke had was a little blah and kinda not as believable. To move away, sure...get a clear head, grieve...I get that. But to change your name just because the press was hounding you, I mean, it was something horrible that happened but I don't think they would follow you 2000 miles just to get an interview. I think moving temporarily would be enough, changing your name and lying about who you are is a bit much. Anyway....there is a twist in here that I TOTALLY did not see coming, so that made up for the other part that I felt was lacking. Now, I just need more books within the family, I like reading about them :-)

Finally!
I was a bit backwards and read the newest in the Sinclair’s stories, The first west coast Sinclair book, before reading the original series. I loved Jade and Eli’s story and then realized I would have to wait for the rest to be released. I was so happy when I discovered the original Sinclair stories. This novella of Liam and Brook answered so many questions I had all along, due to knowing that the West Coast Sinclairs existed. After watching Brook and Liam’s relationship simmer under the surface for quite a while now, I was so happy they finally made things work! Now I’m just chomping at the bit to know more about the newest Sinclair siblings.

They say confession is good for the soul but sometimes the lies have gone on for so long, no matter how good the reason, that confessing serves no purpose. Liam and Brooke had sparks from the moment they met but circumstances kept them from being anything more than boss and employee. When Brooke announces that she's quitting and giving her two week notice, Liam decides to go for broke and finally let her know how he really feels.
